We just moved into a brand new house and the carpets had a plastic covering on the heavily walked on areas to prevent it from getting dirty when the workmen were here. However, when we removed the plastic, it left an adhesive on the carpet that all quickly became covered in dirt and grime. The builder sent out a guy to clean the carpets and they looked great for a couple hours--and then rapidly became worse than ever! So I looked on Yelp and found this company. Rob quickly responded to my email. He came out the next day and spent hours at our house working on the carpets, removing the adhesive, and very thoroughly cleaning them. They now look better than ever and we are so happy! The price was reasonable. We also had him clean one of our sectionals while he was here and that looks great too. This is my first... and ONLY time using Robert. After viewing and reading many great reviews of his business, I decided to go with him...BIG Mistake. Before he started he mention that some stains wouldn't come out...hmmmm. He said it was because they were in the carpet for too long, but they were only there for a month. We have no pets and they were light stains. He came with a helper, and Robert treated him worse than the stains!!! We felt so bad for his helper. He wanted to take his time and do the job right, but Robert kept on telling him to hurry up and be faster because he clearly wanted to get the job done as soon as possible. I definitely would not recommend him!!! UPDATE:This review is 100% real, and I have a spray bottle with Robert's name & business on it to prove it. I am posting 2 photos of the spray bottle on Yelp to prove that this is 100% real and that this is how he "cleaned" my house. If you can't find the two photos, it's also my profile picture of Yelp. Rob just left our house after cleaning our carpets. Wow. My wife and are are just so impressed with him. It turns out that he had been to our house 2 years ago and he remembered us. I can tell you from the previous experience that he was great, but it seems that he has gotten even better. He works so hard and really seems to take pride in his work. And such a nice person! Personable and kind. We felt completely comfortable having him in our home. We had 4 rooms cleaned. 3 had pets stains and another was a high traffic room. Wow they all look close to new. I can assure you that all of them were in pretty rough shape. The chemicals he uses are not harsh smelling. The house smells like fresh cut cucumbers which is a very nice scent. We also had a very large hand woven rug sent out to the place he uses who can handle those type of rugs and it is cleaned professionally by a special machine. This guy is the best. Great job, very helpful. Did more than I asked of him for no extra $$$. He used a spray which he let soak in for 10 minutes then used extremely hot water to steam the carpets. He went over each pass several times then raked the whole carpet with a special tool! I will never again use any one else. He did 2 area rugs and 2 doormats besides my carpet! Stay away from a clown called Michael Tubbs. He does a big mailing in Mesa and Scottsdale. He did not pre-treat like Rob did and finished in 45 minutes.He showed up 3 hours late and proceeded to bore my Mother and I with his boring stories. I had to ask him 3 times to start cleaning before he finally did. He used no product. When I asked if he was going to rinse the rug shampoo out of the carpets he said he didn't use any! He said because I had an auto immune disease he only used water. He used water from my outside tap and his equipment must have been very small because it never got hot. I would like to take the time to leave a review of my experiences with Rob and I Clean Carpets. I just had him out yesterday and had used him one other time in the past for myself and another for my girlfriend and I am never disappointed. Rob called and told me the time he was going to be there and had a long haul of coming from Gilbert all the way out to my house in Surprise during rush hour. I walked him through the various rooms and areas I needed treated and he gave me a lot of information on the process he goes through and how he would tackle the tough areas and went to work. He started a little after 6:00 pm and worked until finishing around 10:00 pm and my carpets are like the new when I first moved into the house. The pet urine areas cannot be seen or smelt, as well as, the high traffic dark areas are completely gone. From my experiences I will not use anyone else for my carpet cleaning needs and there is no reason as long as Rob is available. He is courteous, passionate about carpet cleaning, honest and up front on pricing and all the work he would need to do, does not up sell his services, and absolutely will do a great job on your carpets, tiles, rugs, etc. If you are looking for someone to take care of these things for you then I would suggest you give him a try and I'll bet you will not go with anyone else after that. I called Rob on Sunday and he answered the phone, made an apointment and showed up on time the next day. He was very nice, no upselling, put up orange wall guards all over to protect from any damage, gave me shoe protectors, gave me a bottle of stain remover in case I need it between cleanings. Be aware that it would be bit hard to get a hold of him, but he will reply back to u by the end of the day. The only thing I didn't like, was the foot prints that were left on my nice cleaned, shiny floor and the discoloration of the tile.
