I have to give a shout out to my fellow yelpers. I trust yelpers I know personally or by reference from my friends' list. Based on that I called Robert, I was not sure if he was going to be able to fit me with such short notice, but he came through, not only did he come through he showed up the day of the huge monsoon. Even my nanny cancelled on me that day, but he showed up and worked on my tile. I have had this tile forever and the grout lines were almost black. It has taken me FAR too long to write this review. I Clean Carpets saved my deposit from my last apartment. My husband and I have two exceptionally well potty trained dogs, so deep carpet cleaning was never an issue. We made sure we had a good vacuum, and didn't spill our drinks. But when one of our boys, Dak had a nasty bladder infection, followed immediately by bladder stones our carpet was screwed. Poor boy was not even aware he was peeing most of the time, must less let us know he had to go outside. I found Rob on Yelp... and he came with spectacular reviews so we gave him a shot. I called Rob, and he answered while driving to another job. Told me he could call me back but it might be late. I told him no worries. He called me back that night ( a little after 10pm) and we set an appointment. I was so touched that he called, even after what sounded like an exceptionally busy day. Sadly, I was not there to watch the master at work - since I myself had to work, but my husband was... and was blown away. Rob got to work right away, and even took the time to send ME pictures of the different (and of the gunk he pulled out from the carpet!) He gave us a discount for paying him cash, AND for finding him on Yelp. He also gave us some business cards to hand out, good for 10% off. We got our full pet deposit back. They said the carpet looked great, and it was hard to tell we had two dogs. Rob is amazing. He takes pride in his work, and it shows. The great yelp reviews were correct! SO we have a cat pee issue. Our cat has peed in a couple corners of our house. Well....we have dark carpet and can't tell when she pees so it soaked into the carpet/pad AND wooden boards that tack the carpets. The smell was unbearable. Rob came and cleaned the bedroom and living room. Carpet looked great but the cat pee smell didn't go away. Called him to come back and he came the next day. HE tore back the carpet and saw soaked tack boards with cat pee and the pad was not drying which was causing the smell to linger. HE replaced the pad with a waterproof pad, removed the soaked tack boards and even sealed the concrete/baseboards with a floor sealant. SMELL IS GONE. I gave up and Rob told us that he would do ANYTHING he could to get the smell out or $ back. AND he did! Thanks Rob! We will never use anyone else! read more

So My wife and I are expecting several waves of company over the next 6 weeks and we have finally gotten around to doing our spring cleaning...in December. I work from home and generally I have time to be more of a House-Husband than a work-from-home-Husband, which means the general housework and upkeep is my department. Rob the owner answers. He's busy. He's working while technically on holidays. Could he come ASAP like tomorrow? Yes, see you tomorrow. He gave me a reasonable quote and assured me there wouldn't be any hidden charges or up-sells: a COMMON practice in the carpet cleaning biz. If $15 a room sounds too good to be true...it's because it is. Rob arrived early as he has a cancellation. He moved our rugs outside into my garage and driveway as he didn't want to steam on top of hardwood. He put down plastic sheeting first and put the rugs on top. He then WENT TO TOWN on my filthy rugs! Slowly colors emerged, colors I remembered loving when I purchased the rugs in 2005! Barf-Camo faded into the delightful patterns intended by the manufacturer! In less than an hour all three (2 8x12's and 1 5x8) rugs were pristine. Pre-treat and deodorizer included, Rob even left me 2 free spray bottles of cleaning products: a low alkaline all-purpose cleaner and an enzyme pet stains cleaner as a bonus! Will we call Rob again? Rob did a great job cleaning my carpet yesterday. The carpets look like new. There were a few places where the carpet looked worn in high traffic areas and other carpet cleaners said it wasn't possible to restore those areas. Not so.... We have our carpets cleaned every 6-12 months. We have lived in Phoenix for 30 years. We've worked with a few carpet cleaning companies. We lost the contact information on the one we used for the last 4 years, so we decided to use Yelp. I find it hard to believe this company has 5-star rating. Their service is poor at best He said someone would be there between 9-10am. They would call a half hour in advance. We received a text message at 10:45 that told us he was on his way. The guy was definitely lacking in basic customer service and rapport building skills. He didn't use any corner guards to protect the corners of the walls from being damaged by the hose or steam line. The cleaner had a strong body odor. Neither he nor the truck left me with strong first impression of professionalism. The truck hadn't been washed in months. The cleaner wanted us to make the check out to him vs. the business name. Another sign for me.
