This was the absolute worst experience and service I have ever received. I went with Rob's company because there are so many amazing reviews. BUT MAKE SURE TO READ THE 1 STAR REVIEWS. Everything that people are saying is true. I made an appointment for Rob to clean one room in my apartment as I was moving out the next day. It was set for 2-4pm. 4pm rolls around and I call him to ask if he's still coming. He didn't answer but then texted me saying he accidentally texted the wrong number earlier so that's why I didn't hear from him. He said he'd be there in a bit. That's ok I understand things happen. He didn't show up until 6pm. As he's looking at my apartment- he realizes its going to be difficult to get the hoses down to his van. I'm on the third floor, which is evident from information provided when I made the appointment. He said he doesn't have a portable cleaner but he can refer me to someone that has one. Not ideal, I have to move out tomorrow, but I asked for the referral. He then decided he could throw the tubes down the front of the building 3 stories down onto the sidewalk of a busy street. I wasn't comfortable with this so I told him he could go home, I'd rather have someone else do the job but he insisted his service would clean the carpets much better than a portable service. At this point I just want things to get done after waiting for 4 hours already- so i told him that's fine. He does the job and he leaves about an hour later. The next morning rolls around. We walk into my apartment and there is an OVERWHELMING smell of pet urine that was barely noticeable before. The carpet is soaking wet and there are stains still present. I called rob and my call was declined, he texted me & said he was driving and asked what I needed. Refer to the screenshots. I'm thankful that Rob was willing to come back and fix it, but it was my last day of my lease and I was at work, so it can't be done. I spent $100 on this service and am sure I will have my deposit from my apartment withheld for it smelling so bad. I'm positive the low rated reviews on here are all true. Definitely will be doing extensive research before hiring anyone else for anything ever again. read more

I needed to make arrangements to have the carpets in my parents' home cleaned. Rob provided me a quote and explained what was included. I appreciated that there were not upsells or add-ons after an initial quote. Rob planned around my schedule (I was flying into town for a short time), and called me prior to his arrival. The carpets were in worse shape than I expected, but Rob was able to make them look great! I have already recommended I Clean Carpets to some of my parents' neighbors, and will definitely call whenever we need any carpet, tile, or furniture cleaned in the future. read more

Our technician (Alex) left just now after cleaning our sofa's and Recliners. This guy worked his tail off moving stuff around and cleaning. The results were impressive (my wife is happy). Can't believe I didn't review Rob & I Clean Carpets this year! I bought a house earlier this year that has majority tile flooring... of which for the first few months I couldn't keep clean. Literally would scrub them on my hands and knees and there would be no change. Once I hit peak frustration, I started searching for a reliable local business that wouldn't charge my remaining arm and leg to clean said tile. Rob was really quick to text me back [which is a little weird, but this is a texting world and I'm best at that over calling during the work week]. Nonetheless, I wasn't able to respond for a few weeks and he was quick to get back with me then & schedule a Saturday to come out. Wasn't exactly a beautiful, sunny summer day when he came out since it was summer. I think at one point it got to the mid-80s in the front part of my house with the door having to be a little open for his equipment [guessing outside was ~100]. What was supposed to take ~1 hour took almost 2, but totally thankful he did a thorough job; he was kind to point out that whatever idiot owned the house before me put some unnecessary, almost damaging clear-coat on the tile. Ding ding -- which is why I couldn't keep the floors clean. His scrubber was fairly beat up at the end. He was really kind to not charge me more than his quote due to the extra labor. Rob really exceeded my expectations and I hope this locally-owned business continues to be successful. read more

Wow! Rob was very responsive, on time, and got the job done. When he arrived the floors were much more work than he had anticipated for. It was already approaching the end of the day, he could have easily told me NO WAY, but he still kept his word, stayed until after 9pm, and wasn't stopping until the job was done. I contacted Rob, through the Yelp App, on the afternoon of Nov 27th with pictures and a request for a quote AND a desperate plea to come clean my carpets and couches before a big party we were having on December 2nd (yes, 5 days later, I was a jerk). Rob reached back out the next morning with a quote and was able to accommodate my ridiculous request and came out to clean my furniture and floor two days later. He did wonders for my carpet and my couches! He is a wizard! His communication was fantastic and his work is quick, but thorough! Was able to get next-day service which was great considering my issue was with cat piss and we all know how awful that smell is. September 2015: I have dirty carpets thanks to pets and toddlers. I get them cleaned several times a year. I had an urgent need to get these carpets cleaned. I had an open schedule for exactly 11 days. So I called Mr Rob I clean carpets personally. The day goes by. No callback. I call the next day. Again the day goes by an no callback. I call again. I give specifics so I can get an estimate over the phone. The day goes by. Still no call back. I call again. Leave yet another message because there is NO HUMAN BEING that answers the phone EVER! Guess what....that's right...no call back. After 11 days there is still no call back. After the entire month of September there is no call back. Now well into October I see a message that this review is not relevant to my experience...well here is the detail relating exactly to my experience. THERE IS NO CALLBACK EVER FROM I CLEAN CARPETS which exactly deserves 1 star because 0 stars is not an option. This business is to busy to focus on customer care and quality. Recommend finding another provider. There are way to many companies out there that can do the same if not better job than this one. Great service, friendly and helpful, my carpets came out clean beyond my expectations

If you need your carpets cleaned, I recommend going with anyone other than this guy... He's completely unprofessional. I texted to schedule an appointment and he called me back right away saying he could clean my carpets later that afternoon (around 5pm). 6pm rolls around and I haven't heard anything, so I contact him wanting to reschedule because I obviously don't want a carpet dude at my house at 9pm. I end up rescheduling for the next day with an 11am-1pm window. Next day rolls around and I get a call from him at 12:15pm saying he's running late and will be at my house at 1:05pm. 2pm comes and goes and I decide to cancel because this dude is clearly unorganized and needs better time management. His excuse (and a bullshit one at that) was that he had a flat tire AND his battery died. To top everything off, he calls you at all hours of the night for whatever reason (see screenshots of missed late night calls and lame excuses because they're attached). Oh, and he wanted to charge me $150 for one 12x11 foot room. RIP OFF. read more

How I wish all businesses were run the way Rob runs his. Very courteous, extremely efficient service with equipment that does a superb job even with problematic areas. Rob takes the time to ensure really thorough cleaning and also gives very useful advice on carpet maintenance and what products to avoid. His rates are also very good, with no extra charges that other carpet cleaning businesses would add on after giving you the initial quote. With that said, Rob took time out of his day to refer me to a company that was able to assist me in getting my carpets cleaned the same day I give this company a 5 start rating for two reasons 1. Just had a great carpet and tile cleaning with Rob from I Clean Carpets. Rob was able to get my carpet and tile cleaned quickly and effectively. I was able to see all the dirty grime he cleaned out of my floors and am so thankful I had it done. Most importantly for me the rooms smell amazing. I had some bad luck in the past with other companies using chemicals that didn't smell so great. Scheduling was easy. Rob answered my text very quickly and offered to come the same day. I wasn't available until later in the week but that was no problem for him. He quickly scheduled me on the day I wanted and arrived promptly at the time we discussed. I finally got a response from them for trying to schedule for an appointment for a Sunday. They replied and said they could provide their service on a Sunday. They asked for my phone #. I think this is the first time we got our new carpet cleaned after its installation a while back. We are extremely glad we chose Rob, as his service was high quality, fast, and at an affordable price. I went with Rob after getting quotes from some guys on Craigslist who were asking for more than him, it was the obvious choice. As soon as he arrived we had a conversation about some of his favorite restaurants and even suggested some new ones for him to try out. Then we showed him exactly what he'd be cleaning and he got started immediately. We even interrupted him to clean more area than we initially discussed since we loved what we saw so far. Even though it was an annoyance he did not make us feel bad about it. After he finished he gladly accepted some of my mom's dal chawal (rice and lentils) and sent me a text with a five star review saying it was already gone halfway through his ride home. Rob is a very nice man who works very hard. He has many excellent reviews for his work...and he also has a few bad reviews. Nobody's perfect. I will say that when we had a problem and let him know about it, he stepped up to the plate and made things right, which we really appreciated. That's good customer service and that is everything.
