We started peaking around at the pretty poor selection and given not being greeted or taken care of during that time we decided to leave. Aside from Dina helping me out, there was also Ivy, she was also great. Both ladies were very patient, reliable, and fun to work with. I wouldn't pick anywhere else to go! I was honestly a pain in the butt to work with, I wanted to make my dress train longer and then shorter. I think they have to alter it so many times. I could not recommend this bridal shop more!! I was so overwhelmed coming in for my first bridal gown shopping day, and in the end, I found my dream dress on my first try!! Their selection is wide and beautiful. Also, the prices are moderately affordable and I was pleasantly surprised. I will say, the staff that was there, NOT including our stylist Marisa, were not the best in customer service. We didn't get much of a formal hello or anything and I was a bit worried. However, Marisa was absolutely amazing and the highlight of our visit. She was so helpful, kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. No one was pushy there and there was no pressure to make a decision on the spot. In fact, since they had availability later in the day, Marisa gave me the option to come back later if I couldn't find a dress I liked as much at my next appointment (which we ended up doing). While I was in Boston visiting family for the holidays, I made a few appointments to try on wedding dresses. I found I Do Wedding Dresses on Yelp and I was able to easily make an appointment online without giving them my credit card information. This was my second appointment of the day and my sister/maid of honor was there with me. We were making a day of it and having so much fun. We were greeted right away by to really kind girls-Dina and Dianellie. Dianellie was our point person and showed us through the various collections They had available. She also let us know that there could be sleeves added to any of the dresses as she knew I was looking for a longsleeved gown. She said that their alterations were much quicker than most gowns and also more affordable. She recommended a few gowns based on the vision she saw on my Pinterest board. I really appreciated her doing the research before hand. I started with three dresses and I tried on each of the three. They were all very similar, yet classic and elegant. They were big on me, so she clipped me into them. My sister was able to sit down and watch as she opened the curtain and I stood on the pedestal. I only ended up trying three and although I don't believe I will be purchasing my dress through I do, I really appreciate their time and help as well as their directions to South Station when we departed :-). They were both very kind and helpful. The only negative I can really draw from this experience is the boutique itself, some of the dresses were tarnished and the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. That is with no disrespect to the girls who helped us, but they definitely need a nice cleaning in there. Otherwise, I enjoyed my experience and do believe they have some fantastic gowns there. Let me start with the fact that the dress was lovely and the first woman we met with was very friendly and helpful. We had a tricky situation because my daughter-in-law was in Japan and we didn't know exactly when she'd return. Before she arrived in early June, I'd setup her first "fitting" for a few days after her arrival in Boston. When we arrived at our appointment, we learned that it was not actually a fitting, but when we pick up (and finish paying for) the dress. A little panicked when we shared that the wedding was just two months away and we thought they were doing the alterations, the owner assured us we had plenty of time. We asked for a recommendation and she sent us to Newbury St Tailor. She called for us while we were there and we quickly learned that we did not have plenty of time and we were already within the rush (aka $150 extra fee) window. Overall, we had an okay experience, but it would have been nice to have the "experts" be more in tune with the timeline, take the lead a bit more and suggest we setup appointments for alterations beforehand somewhere else. read more

I'm still in my infancy stages of dress shopping and I hope my future experiences over the next few months are as pleasant as the one I had at I Do. The boutique is conveniently located on Tremont st so it's accessible by train but parking is tough. Booking the appointment was seamless and upon arrival a wave of calm and positive vibes comes over you. After settling your belongings you're offered water or tea and are encouraged to browse around. The dresses are stunning! There's something for everyone! Whether you want flash, a simple look, or are middle of the road, like me. Also, any dress can be altered to add embellishments (or remove). The prices are reasonable and you won't faint or pay with a kidney. Most importantly, your dress purchase also includes one alteration and an embellishment (veil, tiara etc). (almost forgot to mention gowns can be also be rented for a great rate! However, that's not an option for me bcz I'm clumsy and KNOW I'll probably spill something on it) I would also like to commend the women working here. They are tirelessly at your beck and call and give great feedback. Watching Dina gracefully and enthusiastically bring over multiple dresses, corset me, button me, and everything in between made ME exhausted for her and want to tell her to take 5. This was my first time trying on wedding dresses and I can't help but want to rave about this shop. Since it was my first time, I was trying to figure out what I liked. Dina was phenomenal. This past weekend I found my dream dress! I had an idea of which dress was going to be the one before I got to the store so they had that pulled and ready to go when I arrived as well as other options based off of a Pinterest board I had sent them and then ones close to the dress I requested to see. I tried on a few and working with the consultant, was able to make a few adjustments to the dress I loved originally to almost make it a combination of my two favorite. I was so excited to start my wedding dress shopping at I Do Weddings! My mom traveled over 2 hours to go with me and I was really looking forward to a fun morning trying on a variety of dresses. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at all. To start the appointment off, Dina was late and didn't introduce herself when she did arrive. She then had to tidy up the fitting room from the day before. Dina did not seem to care about my wedding vision and did not put me at ease at all, in fact, I felt the whole visit was awkward. On 8/16/2022 I went to find my dress. This was the third store I went to. I went alone because my family are were out of the country but I facetimed them. I found a dress that I liked and even my family liked. It was def on my top list of dresses I loved and the price was under my budget so it's a plus I loved that all their dresses are affordable and they have nice collection. However, Dianellie was the one working that day and I just felt like she was not taking me seriously. Even my family felt like she was a bit rude with the way she was talking to me and answering my questions. She didn't even ask about my wedding (like dates and venue) and didnt make me feel like I was the bride. She didn't help me that much was picking dresses I wanted more involvement to be honest. Since it'a not my first time shopping for a dress I already know how consultants treat the bride and try to make her feel special. I let it go because I thought it was her personality but as i was walking out, the next bride walked in and I saw the way her voice changed. She welcomed her and even said congrats. I was okay with her not congratulating me until she said it to the other bride as soon as she walked in. This just showed me that she didn't think I'm someone worth putting effort to. For me the experience makes a huge difference and I felt like I was wasting her time and it wasn't a nice feeling I ended up buying my dress in a different store in Boston. OMG the experience was soooo different. She set up a tripod so I can facetime my family and they can see the dress and the consultant was so so sweet made sure she knows what I like and took time to understand me. Honestly, the perfect little boutique for first time wedding dress shopping. They have an in-house brand that offers a few extras like first alteration for free. My consultant, Dianellie (sp?) was absolutely lovely and so helpful. I had my first dress fitting session here. Dina was very attentive and helped me try on half a dozen different dresses. I let her pick out what she thought I might like, and she did a wonderful job keeping both my taste and my budget in mind. All the dresses I tried on were sold as store samples for around $900, but were in excellent condition and didn't need any corsets or petticoats. The price range is very reasonable compared to other boutiques in Boston. I ended up buying a dress elsewhere, but I still loved the ones I tried here. I also met Ivy Ye, who gave me information on their wedding photography package. She also patiently explained to me what I should be aware of when choosing a venue, photographer and makeup artist, and I hadn't even booked her yet. This salon gave my daughter the best experience she could have hoped for. The consultant, Dianelli, was attentive, thoughtful and full of information! After trying on several dresses, my daughter (who traveled in from Salt Lake City so her sister and I could be with her) found what she thought was "the one". We are all excited, but had an appointment booked for later that day at a salon on Newbury St and needed to process a bit. Dianelli, sent us on our way with her card and even gave us easy walking directions to the competitor. After an underwhelming appointment in Newbury St we went back to our hotel to discuss. I Do salon opened at 11 the next day and we called immediately to ask for an appointment to put the dress on one more time to confirm what we thought was true. Behind the curtain, Dianelli got her into the dress and styled her with veil and bouquet and just as we thought, this was THE dress. I cannot say enough about this young consultant who answered all of our questions and through in many tips!! Couldn't recommend this salon more. I Do weddings was one of the 3 Bridal places I visited last weekend, but I wish the reviews reflected the service received here. I didn't receive so much as a hello or welcome when I came in the shop. My appointment started about 10 minutes late as we waited for another entourage to wrap up (totally fine on my end), so my entourage and I looked around for dresses I might like to pull. There were two consultants working the shop but both of them were cold and lacked warmth for the brides in the shop. The experience was impersonal and truly just made me feel anxious the whole time, I wish I called it quits early. As soon as I chose 3 dresses to try on, I was rushed to the dressing room where there were two mirrors, but each time I tried on a dress I had no more than 10 seconds to look at myself win the mirror before being told to turn around so my entourage could see. I truly think my entourage saw the dresses more than I did, I especially didn't have the opportunity to see the backs of any of them. I want to make it clear that I have no problem wearing masks during the appointment, but when my bridesmaids asked Dianellie (consultant) if I could take my mask off briefly so they could get the whole picture, she rudely said she wouldn't get near me if I did. I clearly understand the importance of COVID safety, but there are a million more kinder ways to say that I could but she would need to step away while I did. Ironically, she wore her mask below her nose the entire time and the other consultant/bridal party in the room were unmasked. After the dresses I chose to try on were done, my bridesmaid asked the consultant if I could try on a dress I might like, but she said "No. she won't like that. The arms are restrictive", even though my party knew I was looking for an off the shoulder dress. Instead I tried on about 4 more dresses that the consultant picked that I hated (I was looking for an A-line but she had me try on a fitted two-in-one dress without even asking me). The whole time I felt apathetic and just felt like a puppet trying on dresses. She asked me what my budget was (2500), so I assumed everything I was trying on was in budget. At the end of the appointment, I tried on a dress that I felt good about, tried the veil on, and when my bridesmaid asked for a bouquet, Dianellie said "ok but we're out of time" even though it wasn't our fault we started 10 minutes late, and the bridal party that was supposed to be seen after us came in to cancel their appointment because she said "they can't be in here" and needed to wait outside. So there was nobody waiting for us necessarily. As I was teary eyed with the last dress, my friend asked me how much it was and Dianellie said it was $2990- almost $500 above my budget WITHOUT telling me! We were rushed out of the appointment, but everything happens for a reason because there was no way I could support I Do Weddings' business after that experience. Brides - heads up, I Do Weddings has terrible customer service if Dianellie is your consultant, and although I can't speak on another consultant, I would stay away from here. I'm glad I had another bridal appointment left for the day and that this wasn't my only one, because I left the place in tears and it would have ruined the wedding dress experience entirely. If your budget is above $2000, I wouldn't spend the money on a gown at I Do- Flair on NewBury was able to help me find my dream dress for $2500 with AMAZING service. Best of luck! read more

Ivy Peng is an absolute angel. My first time bridal dress shopping was two weeks ago, and this was the first boutique I visited. I went to 4 boutiques that same Sunday, and I Do Wedding by far stood out to me among all of them due to many factors: ***The shop is relatively small, but holds so many beautiful dresses. I was overwhelmed with the amount of dresses I ended up falling in love with, and did not expect to be so torn between so many options. The space is also absolutely beautiful, and is exactly what you DREAM of when walking into a bridal boutique. ***You can reserve various types of appointments, but I choose the one hour bridal fitting appointment where you can try on up to 6 dresses. ***They also offer other services you can inquire about if they are of interest to you, such as photography, videography, wedding planning/coordinating, etc. I am strongly considering using their other services because of their excellent professionalism and customer service. ***During my bridal fitting, I brought a relatively large and lively party (My mother, mother in law, niece, and 3 sisters). Ivy was able to manage all the excitement and commotion, and throughout the process remind me to focus on myself, how I see myself walking down the aisle on my wedding day, and I really appreciated that. I needed that reminder and encouragement when I have 5 other adults in the room I love and care about who also have their opinions about what dresses they liked. Ivy also continue to ask me what I liked or did not like with each dress I tried on, and would target specific dresses that really met my style, figure, and the exact look I was going for. She really helped me figure out and narrow down the type of wedding dress I truly wanted- a difficult feat for such an inexperienced and indecisive bride like myself. She would explain the dress styles and would customize my look with additional accessories/adding pieces to my dress to really customize the look I was going for. Overall, the space and your experience will have you feeling like a princess. I said YES to MY dress here, and was so moved by experience that I just HAD to post a review. After going to a few shows on Newbury St earlier in the day, my final appointment was at I Do, and they were amazing! I had found I Do just by googling shops and reading reviews, I could not be happier that I actually went. The shop itself and the area that you try on your dresses is very clean and nice. The dressing room area itself has an awesome set up, tons of room, and is a great experience for your guest that are attending with you. I had Dina as my primary consultant and she was perfect for us. Dina was super outgoing, fun and made us feel so comfortable. She picked up on the style I was looking for immediately. It ended up coming down to two dresses, by the same designer, that I couldn't decide between so we enlisted the help of Daniellie (the other dress consultant) and got her input as well! But I was blowen away with the level of professionalism, knowledge, and just plain kindness Dianellie Alexander displayed when I came in for my first trial in March of 2022. She stayed after closing taking more than the allotted 1 hr. time to help me find the dress I love. She has this special way of connecting with people and she understood what I was looking for even though I felt like I was not being reasonable with what can be done with the time I had before the wedding.
