For an extra $1 you can upgrade the sundae to a small blizzard. Customer service needs a lot to be desired. Went in this afternoon and the lady that took our order was very aloof, not a hint of a smile. One of our kiddos ordered a plain cheeseburger and when she brought our food out, the child asked where hers was and she said you will have to check that among yourselves because it's not labeled. Still slower than snails. I waited over 20 minutes in the drive thru just to get my food. When I finally got it, the fries were cold, drinks were over filled and causing a mess, blizzards were half melted and also causing a mess, and the burgers look like someone squished them! Bathrooms are spotless and smell nice and second the staff was so friendly and patient as we struggled to make up our mind. We grab a drink sit down and within the minute had our food. After the relaunch of their new restaurant we went and visited them on a monday night. The place was slammed busy. I counted over 12 employees with no organization. Orders were coming out at random and orders were going to wrong tables, people were having to wait over 20 min for some orders. Management was noticeably absent. There was no leadership. Everyone had to fend for themselves. There were 5 of us in our party and 4 of us got served while one had to wait 25 min for his blizzard. Dairy Queen is usually a great place to get a good burger. When covid restrictions began we started ordering through DoorDash. Every time the order has something wrong. I thought maybe it was DoorDash...nope! I went and picked up my own order one day and it was wrong then too! And the crazy thing it's the same order most of the time!!! There have been wrong blizzard flavors, the burger is usually correct just not made right, no drinks when there was supposed to be, bacon added when there wasn't supposed to be bacon...etc. Today was the last straw, I can't even pick off the things that are wrong! Plain and simple. The customer service needs work. A LOT of work. Ordering dinner for my family by myself I thought it was going to be fine. We got 2 of the honey bbq chicken strip baskets, 2 plain chicken strip baskets, 2 milkshakes, and 4 of the double cheeseburgers. While ordering, the employee working the computer kept giving me the "stink eye", had major attitude, and that alone was a bad experience​ for me. When we got our food I noticed that we only had one milkshake and the other was a blizzard, I asked them to remake the milkshake. They simply said, ​"you didn't order one". I said​, ​ "please look at​ my receipt". When they checked they noticed they were wrong, but all they had to say was "we'll have to charge you extra for that." they also got the honey bbq chicken baskets WRONG. My food was cold, the toast that came with my meal looked like they just threw in a plain old piece of bread, i'm just furious... Dairy Queen needs to sort through their employees. The more bad customer service and bad attitudes they give to people who are giving them money, IS NOT going to turn out very well. I have been here several times to pick up a cake I have ordered, and it has never been ready. I once came in and told them my name for the cake, so they went to the back room to retrieve it. After 15 minutes they came back out and rechecked my name. Another 15 minutes later they came back and said "well the problem is there aren't any cakes back there." I've been through the drive-through a couple times since the reopening. Ordered cheeseburgers both times and got very different results. The first time it was around 11 am, and I got a delicious sandwich, made well, on a freshly toasted bun. Second time was closer to 2 pm, and I got dry, flavorless meat, served on a soggy bun; imprinted from the wire rack that the bun had sat on for the obvious hours between getting toasted and being sold to me. Even with a complete turnover of the staff, there is no semblance of standards. This restaurant is gravely lacking in leadership, and it shows in the substandard food and haphazard service. I came into town to visit family this week and I have not been to this location in probably about 4-5 years. I have been to other Dairy Queen's in Arizona and California during this time and have never had a blizzard with hot fudge being automatically put into the blizzard with out being asked. I also used to work at a Dairy Queen in California. I received my blizzard and it had hot fudge on it. I went up to the counter to ask if I could have it remade because I didn't want hot fudge and I was not informed that there was hot fudge in the blizzard. When I went up there the girl said it was standard and after I informed her that I did know that and have never had this happen to me, she looked at me and said well what do you want me to do with tons of attitude. I asked if I could have it just the candy and ice cream and she was like well this time I will do but not again. After I went and sat back down her and the whole crew began to talk shit about me because I wanted it with out hot fudge. To be insulted like that with terrible customer service is ridiculous. I understand that every place will talk about there customers but to do it in front of the registers where they can here you is ridiculous. read more
