Excellent.... EVERYTHING!!!! This is NOT like any other strip mall joint!!! The menu is crafted by "the gods", and is filled with so much variety that it should be illegal. Luckily, our server, King James, knows his stuff and was able to guide our table to what we wanted. He understood our desire, and the menu, so he was able to help us get what we wanted by manipulating the menu, so to speak. I had the Mr. Benedict, which is similar to the "normal" Eggs Benedict, but with the flavorful twist of adding a crab cake to each side of the English Muffin, and came with a sauce that was similar to an Old Bay flavor, but was so creamy and delicious that I couldn't stop eating. If you don't like... whatever it is you don't like, you should try this place out because they make that, only better. And if you're wary about that, they have so many other delicious things that you won't go hungry. At least, they sounded delicious, because I couldn't eat another bite of anything. To the extent that I normally try a bite of everything at the table in order to write reviews on all of it, but I couldn't do it after my meal. Highly recommend!!! You can thank me later!

Milk & Honey in Decatur is hands down one of the best breakfast and brunch spots in Atlanta. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and the service set the tone for a great experience. Our waitress, Gena, was outstanding--attentive, professional, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was top notch across the board. The crab cakes with the Cajun sauce (Mr. Benny) were a standout--perfectly seasoned with a rich, flavorful sauce that complemented the dish without overpowering it. You can tell there's real attention to detail in the kitchen. The potatoes were seasoned to perfection--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and cooked exactly how they should be. And the grits? Easily some of the best I've had in Atlanta--creamy, smooth, and full of flavor. We also had the fried lobster tail, which was cooked just right--crispy, buttery, and a great addition to the meal. On top of that, we tried the veggie burger, and it definitely held its own--well-seasoned, satisfying, and a great option on the menu. Everything from presentation to flavor was on point. This is not just another brunch spot--this is a place that delivers a full experience. Overall, Milk & Honey earns a solid 5 out of 5. If you're looking for a top-tier breakfast or brunch in Atlanta, this spot should absolutely be at the top of your list.

The food was delicious and flavorful. I had the seafood hashbrown. The Cajun sauce was full of flavor. I enjoyed the fresh crabmeat and jumbo shrimp. The service was pretty good. There was a time when our waitress was seen talking to other staff but overall she was a nice girl.

Ample parking and great customer service. I went with a group of about ten, and all of us enjoyed our food and will be back. I had the shrimp and grits, and it was great not salty. The fried green tomatoes appeared to be spicy with the sauce, but they were good. It's also an easy location to find. It wasn't packed at all for brunch on Saturday.

Milk and Honey is a great popular spot for brunch in the Atlanta area. The M&H Biscuit is a great way to start it stands for milk and honey biscuit. It's always dripping with honey and butter soft and delicious. I ordered chicken wings and milk and honey waffles. The chicken wings were fried to perfection. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing. There is plenty of easy parking outside.

Smooth Criminal (Fried Salmon Hash)

My family stopped here for brunch on a Sunday and it was super delicious and great vibes! There wasn't a terribly long wait and were seated probably 10-15 minutes after getting there around 1ish. Our waiter was really wonderful and gave genuine suggestions for us! They have some cool names for their dishes and they are unique and different! I ordered the Smooth Criminal which was fried salmon over a hash browns and a creamy sautéed spinach. It also came with this Cajun sauce that I ordered on the side, but I ended up pouring it all over after tasting it! It was SO delicious and flavorful. I would highly recommend if you find yourself in the Decatur area!

Salmon breakfast

Another day visiting Georgia a brunch spot. Milk and Honey was not too far from my family's home so why not. Now I'm told that there are 2 location are there are different owner of each location. The other location being The Real Milk and Honey, I'll check them out next time. So the atomsphere was trendy with upbeat R&B playing through the speakers. We were seated immediately which was awesome for our group of 7. First we ordered fried green tomatoes and the new pineapple jerk wings. along with a pitcher of strawberry lemonade. The fried green tomatoes were paired with this spicey remoulade with a lemon finish. Georgia does tomatoes right !! The perfect coating and tomato consistency. We actually got 2 mimosa pitchers, strawberry lemonade and peach!! Both with sprinkle of juice and a lot of champagne!!! The wings were just ok. I'm from Buffalo New York so it's hard for other places to make wings like us. They were very small but the flavor was nice but texture was too soft. But once again, I'm from Buffalo and we do wings different so I'm not gonna judge them too harshly, lol. I got the salmon breakfast, I can't think of it's name but it was so good. Lightly coated salmon on a bed of creamed spinach and hash browns with a homemade sauce. Soooo good, the cream spinach was packed with flavor, the salmon was fresh cooked to perfection. If you are a seafood lover you should definitely get this. And that salmon was sooooo huge...of course i had a to go box !! I also got a side of mac and cheese !! Honey when i say this mac was slammin!! Cheesey, gooey seasoned well, noodles cooked al dente. My lil guy ate an entire plate himself. My sis got the key lime waffle, she said it was good but didn't taste like key lime...it's was just green but still tasty. The cons were they ran out of napkins, apparently the key lime waffles should have came with a slice of key lime pie per my cousin and they didn't mention gratuity being added. Besides that, I'd definitely recommend. The food was great, atmosphere chill, no wait and full stomachs !!!

Peach French toast with strawberries and 4 PC whole wings with waffle with strawberries.
Ahmad W.

So I went here on Monday July 26 2025 for the first time. Initially I was going to go to the College Park location with it being the first location. Since this location is closet to me I said that I will give it a try. So I got the French toast with the peaches and strawberries and the waffle with strawberries and 4 PC whole wings. The wings were good they didn't include butter with the waffle not one pack at all or 2. I always have to have butter and syrup with my waffles and pancakes no butter takes away from the taste and flavor of the waffle. Who wants a waffle with just syrup?

Fish and grits
Tashani W.

I love this place so much it's my favorite brunch spot. There are so many things I want to try but I always end up getting the fish and grits it's just too good. The servers are warm and friendly and treat you like family. It's a little small, which I think adds to the intimacy. And the music selection is always great

Seafood Sensation
James T.

The Seafood Sensation here really was sensational. The sauce was zesty and flavorful, perfectly coating the seafood without being overpowering. Portions are solid, and the food actually travels really well for to go, which is a big plus. Sundays are always packed (no surprise, this spot is super popular). If you are ordering to go, especially if it is a larger order, definitely check everything before leaving. With the rush, they sometimes mix things up. Other than that, this place is a great stop for some southern style brunch food, conveniently located right off the highway. Worth the trip whether you are dining in or grabbing it to go.

Milk and honey waffle. Red velvet waffle. Biscuits
Spencer V.

I personally have enjoyed everything of this restaurant especially the food. I actually found this restaurant on uber eats. It's not often I get a chance to look on yelp much so I rely on uber eats and Doordash for restaurants near me Let me tell you this one this one did not disappoint. The milk and honey was so delicious . That would be the first time?I would actually try anything with milk and honey in it together. The red velvet waffle was very excellent as well but not as good as the milk and honey. The biscuits were homemade fresh and delicious. I cannot complain About the service and ambience at the restaurant. It was exactly my cup of tea.And what the doctor ordered. Honestly I would have got more photos but my phone had died. But Rest assured the next time I do come here.I will be getting more photos.

Tropical Mimosa
Courtney G.

visited Milk and Honey Decatur with friends and loved it! I had the shrimp and grits and the red velvet waffle -- both were absolutely delicious. I also tried the fried green tomatoes with chipotle aioli, and they were a standout! My tropical mimosa was tasty, though I wish it had been colder. The staff was very welcoming, and our waitress was phenomenal. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated on a Sunday, which wasn't bad. It was a little warm inside due to air conditioning issues, but they had someone fixing it before we left. The restaurant is cozy and located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. I'd definitely recommend Milk and Honey for a great brunch!

Shrimp and grits
Lashundra H.

I visited this restaurant. For the first time it wasn't crowded. It had a pleasant atmosphere. Great music. Our server was very very good attentive, and was on point. We're making sure everything we asked was taken care of. My favorite was the fried Green tomatoes They were delicious. The crust stayed on with every bite, and the sauce was excellent. I also had the shrimp and grits. Everything was flavored well. Not over salted. I really enjoyed my meal. My mom was there with me. She had a salmon and grits, and she enjoyed it as well. In addition, we had a salad which was well proportion, and also the yams. We would definitely go back to milk and Haney again, I enjoyed this restaurant.

He was very patient answering many questions about the menu. My mom has a lot of food sensitivities so she has to be very specific about what she eats. Hands down the best thing on the table was my shrimp and grits! The shrimp had just the right amount of Cajun seasoning, the grits were smooth and cheesy, the vegan sausage was nice and savory, and I loved the little grilled piece of focaccia bread. My fiancé loved the Kirkwood Breakfast. Especially the lavender biscuit and the preserves that went with it. He was also a huge fan of the honey bacon. My mom also got the Kirkwood breakfast, but she opted to get the eggs without the boursin cheese because of her food issues. My niece's boyfriend got the challa French toast and WOW it was a sight to see! Huge fluffy piece of French toast, topped with fresh berries, and a ricotta cheese blend. He seemed quite happy with it, although it was a little on the fence with the texture of ricotta, I'm thinking he probably hasn't had that before so I didn't know it was kind of like a cottage cheese texture. I got a lavender infused lemonade, nonalcoholic drink from the bar, and it was an absolute delight! I was surprised when they only charged me $4 for it, I felt like that was a great price for a delicious drink. My only constructive criticism to them would be to let people know that they add a 20% gratuity to every check. I don't mind paying that and honestly usually tip more but I do appreciate when a server will at least circle that on the check or let you know verbally .

Seat yourself and scan a QR code with your phone to order and prepay. Being old school I think you get better tips by greeting the table and giving recommendations. But there was only one server, she was friendly and hustling. I love the grown up music - neo soul and pop (Selena, Ed Sheeran), with enough volume to hear each other, clean restrooms and comfy seating. Food came out quick, hot and fresh. The amiable owner greeted us after to inquire about our meals. We had a party of 7 (4 adults, 2 teens, 1 kid). I loved my pancake breakfast! The filling, not too sweet hot cakes were promptly drenched in warmed Mrs. Butterworths. Applewood smoked bacon? Blissful. Scrambled eggs with cheese? Dreamy. I devoured it all and left full and content. My Dad said the Blueberry Pancakes were the best breakfast he ever had! Ms. Chicken and Waffles thought the poultry was a bit salty yet "well-seasoned with the perfect crunch." Waffle? Delicious. I heard mostly positive things about this restaurant from a few family members, so I was curious to check it out. This Caribbean/Southern fusion spot is located as the anchor of a strip mall with other restaurants next door. The great thing is that there is plenty of parking. We came on a Saturday evening; thankfully it was not crowded, so we were able to sit down immediately. Food: I ordered the stewed chicken wings which comes with plantains and jasmine rice. I also ordered a side of roasted brussel sprouts. The wings were very good, falling off the bone tender. I also loved the flavoring of the rice, and the plantains were perfectly sweet. I was not a big fan of the brussel sprouts. They had a thick honey sauce on them that was overpowering, and they were very soft in texture. The positive side is that they give you a ton of food for the price. Service: There weren't many staff working this evening from what I could see. Our server greeted us promptly and checked on us several times before we ordered food. Once we ordered our food, it honestly went down hill. It just took extremely long to get anyone's attention for help. It also took close to 30 mins just to get our check. When the check came, they initially said they couldn't split it and added an automatic 20% gratuity. On their site, it says they do that for parties of 4 or more, but we were only a party of 3. The manager let the server split the check, but they would not remove the gratuity. I always tip well, so it wasn't the end of the world, it was just the principle for me.
