We went over times of arrival, set up time and when they would be leaving. Not only where they an hour early but left 2 hours before the arranged time. From 3:30 to 10 pm. Instead they were there from 2:15 to 8pm. The food was good, however not the dish we agreed on. Months prior we had agreed on Chicken Tequila, the dish at the tasting had bell peppers and tequila sauce. The dish served was not only NOT tequila but mushrooms. My family and WIFE being allergic to mushrooms, was something we DID NOT AGREE ON. Upon speaking with Mr. Garcia the following business day, he completely denied what we were saying, and kept insisting that we were in the wrong. Why would I order something my family and wife are allergic too. When the dish was agreed upon, Garcia had said it was TEQUILA, CHICKEN AND BELL PEPPERS. Of course we were very disappointed since we paid more than $4500 for service and food and it was not what we hoped at all. Would have liked for maybe a consideration of some type of reimbursement, but again not only was Mr. Garcia in complete denial, but was distraught and shaking. Also I want to add, if you have food at your event and you have left overs, apparently they have to consider, and ask Mr. Garcia if it's ok to leave the food you paid for! lol I truly wish this would have been handled differently than it was. You have to find time to be able to sit down with him. If you aren't there to pay him he rarely sits to talk with you which I don't think is ok. The first time I got to enjoy their catering food menu was at a Business Networking event/Chamber sort of mixer in Garden Grove on Trask right by the 22 freeway. So much better to have their terrific and seriously yummy charcuterie meats and cheese "tray" which was actually so beautifully arranged in an easily accessible multi tier tower. There were also these fantastic meatballs (not those ones which everyone has from Costco, right?) and amazing coconut chicken skewers. They were SO GOOD!! My only mistake was taking just one politely leaving some for others planning to swing back to the heated serving area. When I returned quite awhile later, only one was left! Snagged it. They are a fan favorite for sure! Like the Avengers mid-mission, everyone knows their role, everything hits the target (like Hawkeye's arrows). Food? Heroic. The chicken is a total scene stealer. One guest (who could easily pass as Doctor Strange with their food snobbery and complaints of most caterers serving dry chicken) said it was the best chicken they've ever had from a caterer. Moist, tender, and seasoned like it was blessed by Odin himself. And remember: this chicken has to be prepared beforehand and transported to the location, and also will likely be sitting for a few more minutes. And it was still tender! Their beef dishes?
