She said don't come between 12-1, I arrive at 1:25 just for her to tell me they're fully booked for the day and preceded to try and book me for another day. I told her no I don't want it I'm just really confused why she didn't book an appointment when I called She had no answer other than they booked up really fast on a day it's 15 degrees outside. I'm really upset because it's horrible customer service And I don't even like getting this pricey painful service except for special occasions.

But my last two visits left me frustrated, mainly because of the pricing and quality. Today, I specifically told the manager that the acrylics I got last time burned my nails, so I wanted gel instead. They still charged me extra for soaking off the acrylics. The manicure itself took 2 hours, and the end result isn't even great. They added charges for things I didn't request--like a "spa manicure" (which was basically just lotion and a hot towel that washed right off). They also charged for the round shape, soak-off, which I understand is healthier for nails, but it still felt unfair when I had already explained my concerns. I thought they only charged for almond shape but come to find out I was wrong. I expected to pay extra for the cat eye design, but the tech clearly didn't know how to do it. See photo. Every nail looks different, and it took 20-30 minutes just for that step. You'd think a manager would check in at some point for that. More butts in seats=more money. In the end, I paid $75 plus tip. While that's not wildly above local prices, the amount of time it took and the poor quality make it not worth it. Sadly, I won't be coming back.

The instructions given kept my brows super hydrated and didn't allow for healing, which is not good I found out. When my brows faded, less than 3 months later I found new microblade expert who is educated and understands the process, due to her continuing education with professionals from major cities. I booked several weeks in advance and in my booking I believe I noted that I was using a CrowdSavings coupon. I received confirmation for the booking and a reminder. When I showed up Erica was running late. Approx 15 minutes after my appointment was scheduled to start she stepped out and asked if I was using a CrowdSavings coupon. I confirmed that I was. She then notified me that CrowdSavings sold the coupons without her permission and she would not honor it even though I had paid and been charged for the service. I asked why I was just being notified now. She said she had only recently discovered my coupon purchase (although my reservation had been booked weeks out) and said in a very unconcerned way that maybe I could get my money back from CrowdSavings but she could only provide a bikini wax for her regular fee. I said I was not interested and ended up booking the appointment with another salon. So a big thumbs-down to the poor communication and customer service provided by Skin Deep Esthetics and another thumbs down to CrowdSavings.

I complained multiple times and reminded them that I had my natural nails under and no tips. Had to remind them over three times that I wanted a soak off and not just ripped off.
