I definitely recommend them. They installed a kitchen faucet which was definitely harder than usual due to the space and difficulty loosening bolts. They arrived on time and cleaned up everything and tested it. The price was $425 as it took a long time to do the work as mentioned above. But they did a nice job and gave good recommendations for other projects. This building has older pipes and junk clogs up the aerators. Definitely never buy a no-name brand one. These guys are GREAT and actually fixed the problem! Ever since we bought our house 20 years ago, the plumbing has been a constant and recurring problem. Every 6 months to a year, the plumbing completely backs up. Whenever this happens, I call a rooter type company and they come and clear the clog. Every time, I would ask the company "why does this back up so frequently?" And every time, they would give me a non-answer, even claiming that it is typical/regular for plumbing to need rooting every 6 months. (uh...no...no house I've ever lived in needed such constant professional pipe clearing). The last time our pipes clogged, I called Pro Roto for the first time. I mentioned to them about the constant need for clearing the pipes, and they agreed that is not normal. Instead of just clearing the pipes and coming back for another round in 6 months, they scoped the pipes and found the ACTUAL problem...which was that the angle of a portion of the original sewer pipe was basically too flat, and could not drain using gravity. The poor implementation of the original pipe meant that solids would sit in the flat spot and eventually clog. They said they could actually fix it by correcting the angle in the flat spot. We hired them to do the work, and they did a really really really good job. I wanted to wait at least a year to write this review, because in the past, the pipes would re-clog in 6 months to a year. It's now been 1.5 years, and we have never had a single further problem with the pipes. Thank you so much, Pro Roto, for fixing the problem instead of the symptom. Avo and his team are phenomenal. We wanted to do some preemptive work on our sewer lines before we landscaped our front yard. We heard from our neighbors the sewer pipes in this neighborhood were bad so we decided to get them replaced. Avo was recommended to us by our fire sprinkler company. Within a couple of days of contacting him, he had his full team here to replace the pipes to only find out the previous owners already did so. So instead of redoing that work, he upgraded a few of our connectors to make handling future issues easier and adjusted the scope of work and price. They could have still replaced the pipe and charged the full amount (we would have never known) but their honesty should be noted. After the work was done, they cleaned everything up to even better than they started with. I truly appreciate Pro Roto's honesty, even though they knew they might lose my business by sharing this information. My house had a tree root intrusion issue in the main sewer line under the sidewalk in front of my home. While shopping around, I explained the problem to several plumbing companies. Most quoted me at least a few thousand dollars to replace that section of the pipe. These guys are great. I had a really gross sewer backup in my bathroom. They came out on a weekend, fixed the problem and did an incredible jog of cleaning up. They also diagnosed the underlying problem - ancient cast iron sewer lines that were almost rusted shut. I got a repair bid from another plumber which was much higher than Pro Roto. Called to request they look at our slow utility sink drain which drains our washing machine. Avo came by within 15 minutes and diagnosed the problem. He had his technician, Brian, on site within an hour who spent the afternoon snaking and hydrojetting the clog. I was most impressed by the cleanup afterwards. There was oil slick that consumed the side of our house and the neighbors. Brian cleaned and deodorized everything which took twice as long as the hydrojet. We had a sewer back-up into our first floor bathroom. Pro Roto came out quickly, diagnosed the problem, and were very transparent with the recommended treatment and costs. They ended up needing to put in a new two-way clean-out and then found that there were roots getting into the joint between our house sewer line and the city line. So, they helped to install new pipe and fixed the joint. It was a lot of work (2 full days), but they did it very well. I would definitely go with them again. read more

Top Summery: The cleanout of the main sewer drain was accomplished without issue Plumber was late, but he called ahead to let me know He really tried to scam me into more work (that was not needed). Price was on the steep side but it was a Saturday "emergency" I guess Will not be my top choice for future cleanouts (of which there will be) If you are on a budget and want an honest plumber, look elsewhere. Details: So I had a main sewer pipe blockage as noticed on Friday Eve. So I setup an appointment at 3 on Saturday. During the day the plumber called to inform me he would be late, an hour and a half LATE!!! Issac informed me that he was doing me a great favor coming out on Saturday and charged me accordingly (on the pricy side BTW). No issue I just needed the sewer pipe cleared as has been done before as one expects in a neighborhood with mature trees and old houses. I had the pipe sleeved by the city after I renovated my home before CV19. Background: I used to flip houses as a hobby being an engineer with disposable income in my younger years. I did the renovations on my current home of which I pulled the permits and hired sub contractors to build out the frame and double the size of the house based on the plans I drew up and was left with finished walls on the inside and out. Took about 7 months to get to that point, then I did all the finish work as well as all the wiring of the house which included the inspections from the city. Again, I am an engineer and this is a hobby for me so I am really familiar with construction based on experience. Time to scam: Once Issac was done with the cleanout of the main sewer line (which was all I needed), the really hard sale started on how with all of his years of experience as a plumber tells him this re-sleeved sewer pipe was in horrible shape and I need to pay him $1800 to fix it. Saying this as he runs his special camera through the pipe that looked to be in really good shape (again my experience in building and flipping) as I got to see the RED sleeve I had installed. I grew tired of listening to the used car salesman approach for work that was not needed. It would be hard to tell for someone lacking experience or knowledge in such subjects. The real kicker was him telling me if I agreed to do the work at that moment there would be discount for me but I need to act now!!! This is why we have yelp because I am just trying to imagine how he may have swindled those not privy to such subjects and he was laying it on thick too, to a point of being insulting to my intelligence. Sadly the last time I had a sewer pipe blockage I had this company come out years ago which left me with a good experience and is what prompted me to have the pipe updated/sleeved of which Issac had not heard of, in all his "years of experience". Also, in Issac's setup to tell me the bloated price of the work suggested was due to him having the biggest and best equipment. Now I need to go to the city to ensure this company did not put a mechanics lean on my property, that is how shifty my exchange seemed and this is a method shady contractors do to entrap their customer/victims that can be a pain to deal with unless you already have an attorney familiar with it. ;) I just needed the main sewer pipe cleared. I was deep in a plumbing nightmare after sinking thousands of dollars on another plumbing company to hydro jet my storm drain and replace a section of the pipe my storm drain remain clogged. They wanted me to spend a bunch more money to do more pipe replacement while offering vague assurances that it would fix my problem. I did not feel confident that those guys knew what they were doing. I called Pro Roto for a second opinion and boy am I glad I did! Avo came out to evaluate the work that had been done up to that point and patiently and thoroughly explained to me what more needed to be done to get the exact result I wanted. He then came up with a plan and an estimate that was significantly below the first plumber. He and his crew, Pedro and Rigo arrived a few days later and did everything as planned and then some!
