If you want anything complicated done beyond a cleaning and it has to do with insurance, good luck with that. They have no idea what they are doing. Also, their pricing compared to other dentists is inflated. They did not submit the proper X-rays initially for the procedure and did a procedure that insurance does not approve of and then they just dump all the responsibility onto the patient. The insurance required a professional dentist to justify the procedure they chose and they refused to work with the insurance to get the approval. They flat out don't care who pays. This review is long overdue! I mean I've been going to the same dentist for almost 15 yrs! That oughta say something right? lol The waiting room is always clean and quiet. Relaxing while I wait but usually I don't wait long. Approx 5-15 mins Dr Le and his team are friendly, professional and efficient. He's the only dentist I know that would administer anesthesia and then ask if I feel any pain when he start working on me and stop to give me more anesthesia if I still feel pain. That's how a dentist should be!! I can't tell you how many dentists I've had in the past who starts drilling my teeth without asking if I feel any pain so I'm gripping my chair til my knuckles are white and bear the pain no matter how slight. Communication is the key. Dr Le definitely communicate with his patients and I thank him greatly for that. That's what keeps me coming back for years. Also altho he had a change of receptionist the girls, are always friendly and professional and very accommodating. They will squeeze you in if there's space. They called me to go in when someone cancelled and they almost always call to remind me of my appointment at least a day prior. Good job girls! It's almost impossible to get anyone on the phone to schedule an appointment. Every time I call it rings and goes to voicemail. Then I'll leave a voicemail and rarely get a call back. A couple weeks ago I called and left a voicemail. After a few hours they called back but I missed the call. I called them back 2 minutes later and it went to voicemail again with no call back. A month or two ago I called to schedule an appointment and they had a message on their machine stating the office would be closed for about a week and a half. I called them twice earlier this week and again it goes to voicemail and I get no call back. They are closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday and seem to be gone for lunch Monday-Thursday for 1.5 hours. It's just extremely inconvenient to be able to schedule anything with them and there always seems to be something going on whether they have to shut down temporarily, they have no receptionist, or something else. read more

I did not have my teeth cleaned since Covid hit so I was due for a good cleaning. I was looking for a good dentist in Henderson since I left the Atlanta area. I am extremely picky so I spent some time looking around for a dentist. I received a flyer in the mail for Smile Dental so I decided to give it a try. To my surprise I got an appointment that wasn't a month away like other dentists. Dr. Julia Le provided excellent service at an affordable price. She took the time to explain everything in great detail which I appreciated. I did not have any pain during the entire cleaning procedure. I was very pleased with the cleaning, everything was super clean in no time. I am so happy I found a good dentist near my house. I will continue to have my teeth cleaned by Dr. Julia Le. This is by far the greatest dentist office I have been to. Everyone on staff, from both Dr. Kenneth Le and Dr. Julia Le, to the receptionists, to the dental assistants, are nothing but absolutely friendly, understanding, and compassionate. The first time or two I ever went to a dentist, it made me very anxious, but I always feel relaxed when I go to get a cleaning done (about once every six months). They are great at their jobs, and I feel content to close my eyes and try to keep my mouth as open and still as possible while they do their work. I can usually be in and out in about half an hour, with my teeth looking nice and polished, as good as new! I only had to get a set of fillings there once, but it was still pretty swift and very competently done. I also want to say that both the dentists here will explain to you everything going on in your routine teeth x-rays, so you can know if you're starting to develop a cavity somewhere, or if you need to keep an eye on something. Or even just which parts on the x-ray are fillings, if you have any questions regarding what you see. I have been to both locations; I chose the original office because it was close to my house and on my insurance (the new location is even closer!!) but I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was so much more, and I hope that regardless of where I end up career- (and insurance-)wise, that I can stay with them for my dental care. (They do cleanings on Saturday, so that's a definite plus!) read more

First time bringing to children here after our coverage changed. The receptionist was very nice and made sure I was aware of any copayments that is needed prior to the visit. In the room, the dentist, Dr. Le came to look at the x-rays and check the children's teeth. No cavities in both, but he mentioned my daughter would be needing braces, he was great to advise that there is no need to rush to get it now. He said we can still wait a few years and see exactly how her teeth is align when all the permanents are fully grown. And also recommended a toothbrush that can help clean her teeth better since they are not aligned straight. The Hygienists that did the cleaning were great, they were efficient and the children's teeth are so clean. The one working on my daughter's teeth took more time to help clean the area with the crooked teeth where we can't get into regularly. Overall, I was very happy with the visit today and set our next visit already. read more

5 Stars all the way! .. First Time patient at this dental office.. I had a chip tooth and my husband called the emergency line due to after hours.. Dr. Le contacted him back personally a few hours later. He got me right in first thing in the Am to fix my tooth issue. I needed a root canal & it was done same day. Dr. Le focused on why I came to see him, versus other dentist trying to rip you off and do extra work on your mouth that doesn't need to be done! Dr. Le has a very full schedule & the ratings tell why! I was able to get scheduled back in to finish my dental crown etc on my tooth right away. *very gentle & cares about his patients! I love the office. They were super nice doctor was informative. She showed me X-rays and told me y I needed what I did didn't just tell me to do it. Staff is friendly. The only thing was the time I made sure to get my paper work done before getting to appointment and I waited almost 20 minutes hmmm but it was worth it. Convenient I went on my lunch break. Had to switch dental offices due to a change in our insurance. Very happy to have found this place. Dr. Julia Le explains everything to you step-by-step and is very informative without being condescending. She even did my teeth cleaning herself! Most places I've been to have their technicians do it. It does take awhile to get an appointment (about 4-6 weeks) because they're so busy, so plan ahead. read more
