He'll ask you if you're uncomfortable at any point please lift your left arm and we will take a break. He really takes his time and is very welcoming They don't try to scare you into deep cleanings or dental work that you don't need just for extra money and it was very affordable it was a third of the price as Stephanie dental, which I've been going to previously . I Highly recommend A1 Dental office! I came in for a consult for my dental crown. A bit of background, I had 3 different dentists work on my crown from both Cali and Nevada. It kept coming off. It was such a dreadful and stressful experience for me. Y'all know how difficult it can be dealing with dental issues. I'm at the end of my rope and gave A1 dental a call for a consult. At first it seemed like my only path of treatment was an extraction and dental implant. Which will be painful and will cost thousands of dollars. Best dentist I've been to. They made me feel extremely comfortable and are very professional.

Been coming here for a few years now and dentists have been unstable. I feel like there's always someone new when I go for my appointments. The front office staff also have had their fair share of changes. The front office staff are not very thorough and don't follow through. They've often tried to have me (their customer) call the insurance to resolve issues relating to my claims. They don't know how to do their jobs, instead they like to pass the buck. Smh!!! They might as well pay me to work there since I've had to do the legwork for them. Very frustrating! Would not recommend this dentist at all. i'll be looking for another one in the upcoming new year for sure! read more

I've been needing to see a dentist badly for a couple of months now and I'm glad that A1 dental care was able to take me in within the next week of booking. Pulling up to the parking lot there was tons of parking and you can easily spot the office with all of their huge discount signs posted all over the windows. I think it's great that they advertise discounts because dental isn't cheap and I've never heard of other offices giving out any type of discounts, so I really like this place for that alone. At my appointment The first thing we did was take tons of photos and X-rays. When I say I have never in my life been to a dentist office that does such a thorough job with examination, I mean it! Shout out to mahea for doing such a great job and instructing me for each photo and being so nice. Mahea walked me through all the photos showed me exactly what was happening with my teeth and answered all my questions. Once that was done Dr. Lee came in and went over all the possible options of fixing my teeth. I appreciate the transparency and how he went into detail about each Tooth and what they need. I told him I wanted to have invisiline in the future and he focused on the actions we can take to get me there. After a lot of discussion I was greeted by Alex who went through all of my insurance details and was great at explaining what's covered and what not. I appreciate her for being cool about everything being that I needed a lot of work done she gave me some tips on how we can do it in the most efficient and affordable way. My previous yelp review stands. 4 months ago I made a dentist appointment here with Dr. Lee. The office failed to inform me that he left the practice and gave me a different dentist, I moved out of the area and drove from Centennial Hills to this location (34 mins one direction) bc I Loved Dr Lee so much. The Owner a woman whose name I can't recall did the first had of my teeth. The other half had to be rescheduled, they gave me Dr.B a senile old man from Boston who absolutely wrecked my mouth, the experience felt very Little shop of horrors. At one point I was comforting the Dr. in hope he would not continue to take his frustration out on my face. The dental hygienist noted how badly my mouth was damaged and was very gentle. Thankfully I numb, (I definitely felt it the next day) I am extremely Verbal. I expressed with the staff how I felt that appointment went. I Called and came back 2 more times to have my problem corrected. Twice I was gaslit. My pain and experience was invalidated and dismissed, I was told my tooth need time to "heal" if tooth enamel could grow back we would not need dentist. In June I was getting a call for 80$ and some change that my insurance did not cover. I call immediately again as I am Very Verbal, and said I would Not be paying that bill. They began to explain ans break down the bill, I said it's not about the amount or the bill. It's the Principle. How I was treated how I was gaslit how my experience was downplayed and dismissed. The acknowledge that I made a complaint 3x, my teeth did Not have pain Prior to that Man Butchering me. Only when I said I would Not be paying the 80$ did they decide they wanted to take me seriously, and tried to schedule me in. I explained I was leaving for vacation, and would not be in state for a month, and that i would be looking for another dentist. Still persistent the secretary wanted to set an appointment for when I got back which would be end of July. They didn't have availability and schedule me for October. Fast forward, I'm getting email to confirm, I pushed the button for Decline appointment, I get a text I text 2 to decline appointment. Today I get a voicemail that if I don't confirm they will charge me a no show fee. I called the office and told them again, what happened to me, that I declined all appointment notices, that I will NOT pay the 80$ write it off on taxes and the entire office can eat a bag is D*cks. And I'm so unapologetic. You are a medical professional offering a service, you can be fired for not providing correct or professional services to your Patients/client. Providing quality care is essential for patients/client retention. If a provider can deny service, charge no show fee's have late policies then the clients/patients can extend the courtesy. Never thought I would give any dentist a 5 star review due to my anxiety getting any work done here lol. BUT the staff are professional, efficient, and were able to work with my insurance. They put me at ease as much as I could be. My husband referred me to them. My family has been going here for a few years. We always had Dr. Lee. Who is wonderful and gentle. Then last summer was told Dr. Doan is the owner. Dr Doan has no people skills. On the day of my appointment, my hygienist was sick. Office staff (who are wonderful) tried to reschedule me, but Dr Doan decided she would do my cleaning instead. She was not friendly at all. Her dental skills are rough, and she doesn't allow you to catch your breath while cleaning. After she was done with my cleaning, she just walked out of the room. No explanation or closure discussion or thank you, goodbye. As soon as my appointment was done, I really wanted to switch my care elsewhere but was told Dr Lee was still with them. Last week, my daughter went in for her cleaning, and Dr. Doan said she had to replace a bunch of filings. Nothing was bothering her and treatment would cost her out of pocket over $200. Then my husband had a cleaning appointment, and again, nothing was bothering him, but he came home with an estimate for a crown and to redo filings. Over $400 worth of work. I'm sorry she's not looking out for your best interest, and she's not consulting and discussing treatment and alternatives with you. She's straight out saying you need the dental work. If you don't know better you listen to her and spend your money. The bottom line is she's only after money!!! You deserve to have discussion and options to your care. P.S. If you like Price Switching, this place is for you. I was looking for a dentist to fix chipped teeth. i had several chips on the front of my mouth (upper) and 3 chips on my mouth (lower) - i thought, should i get veneers or crowns. i don't have insurance and a1 dental said they would give me the 'cash price' if I pay an additional $100 'savers plan' upfront - I did just that. I soon found that I would never see the same dentist, assistant or hygienist twice - every visit would be a "dental professional" I had not seen prior. when they do dental work on you, they use a chemical to numb the area (this is standard), but what is NOT STANDARD is price negotiation while your gums are numb. when I was much younger, I went for face treatment. she numbed my face and then NEGOTIATED a price on a new treatment, while I was numb and said "I can include your eyes for another $1500" - i was scared out of my mind as she had the syringe in her hand. Well, a similar thing happened at A1 DENTAL on JONES. The dentist (who was not the prior dentist I had seen there), began to sell me on additional services WHILE ONE SIDE OF MY FACE WAS NUMB She told me to "Put this on your credit card" - she is a DENTIST (supposedly) - she was about 45-55 years old, about 5 foot 7, and her last name starts with a D. So instead of treatment for 1 tooth, now she was UPSELLING me on treatment for 4 teeth, when the "treatment plan" was 1 tooth at a time for about $1300 cash (out of pocket price) - now while was under anesthetic and numb, and delayed me in the dental chair for 25 minutes, this dentist "D" last name (who was not my previous dentist) began to sell me !!! She didn't do my treatment. I was there for a treatment. There was a treatment plan. I have the paperwork for the treatment plan for that date. It was ONE tooth - she wanted me to pay over $6,000 and to JUST "put it on a credit card" I BEG YOU! Avoid this place. I beg you. read more

Horrific horrific horrific Dr. D (dentist) just attempted to upsell me for $6,900 when both the treatment and the price had been agreed to beforehand. My 4th visit to A1 Dental on Jones. Each visit I had a different dentist and a different hygienist- i was told it would be consistent but on each visit, new faces. Story: i am extremely poor and have no insurance. I have 9 teeth that need new crowns. On the 1st visit they took X-rays and gave me an itemized pricing sheet. Each crown would be approximately $1300 and ai would need to pay extra for a 'savers plan' The front desk, the back office and the original dentist who did my 1st crown all agreed that they would do 1 crown at a time due to me being extremely poor - in fact my credit card limit just barely covered the crown. So today i wake up early and arrive early. They want payment upfront. I paid. New unrecognizable dentist: Dentist D: why are you doing 1 at a time Me: money Instead of doing the procedure, she keeps me waiting. She tells me she wants to do 4 at a time. She tells me she will redo the crown the last dentist did (nothing wrong with it). She brings over a sales book of photos. The owner / dentist here is extremely money hungry and will do bait and switch tactics. I recently moved to las vegas from california. it is very difficult to find a quality dentist , not particularly because of the dental work itself, but because of the greed. In fact, in my experience with Dentists, once they do the work, the tooth has the proper alignment and proper color and correct placement. The issue is the absolute greed and shady tactics that dentists employ. There is a dentist / owner at this facility named: Dr. Traci Duan and she will try to squeeze every last penny out of you. Many people go to this particular dental office off of jones because they have "free signs" on the outside of the office building. as you know, nothing in life is free. they get you with their annual dental programs laters, which "reduce the individual treatments" This dentist Traci Duan is particularly evil. No matter what prior experience you have had, dentist Duan will squeeze you for every last penny. She will begin by telling you that your prior dentist did a "really bad job" and she will give you the absolute "perfect smile" - you just have to REDO everything that you previously paid for with your PAST DENTIST - and she will happyily redo it. Try to object .... you can't - she will INSIST and become enraged. Have a problem with 1 tooth? Sorry, you actually have a problem with 3 teeth - you just didn't know it. Well, you have been warned. During this whole procedure my whims cares and concerns came first. During the procedure always care humor and encouragement, all the way. The staff put me at ease and I didn't feel so self-conscious or bad about myself. We worked out a plan and got right to work on fixing some of my problems. In 17 years, of course there has been some turnover but management has ALWAYS done a great job in hiring only friendly and caring people. Dr. Tracy Doan was my original dentist who retired and now Dr. Lee is my current dentist... both are such compassionate, highly proficient, and gentle doctors. This was my first visit to A1 and I am pleasantly surprised!! For your first time, they have lots of promotions! The staff was super friendly and the doctor was so knowledgeable. It's so refreshing not to be pushed into certain treatments but, instead, educated on why it's important, but in the end, the decision is in your hands. Dr. Lee is the best dentist I've been to! I chipped a front tooth while I was pregnant with my second child, and he was able to do a filling and place a crown. It was a pain free procedure and didn't feel a thing. During the whole procedure, he would check up on me and made sure I was comfortable. Was really disappointed with this place. They did my X-rays and said I had bad cavities and needed a deep deep cleaning..but they didn't take my insurance..ok my fault I should have called to verify with my insurance. They wanted to charge me $900 to do the things they said i needed. I went to another dentist for a second look and when I told them what a1 said i needed...they were shocked and said i didn't have any cavities .
