The space is warm, moody, and inviting--like a lighthearted Western brought to life--with candlelight and rich wooden accents creating an atmosphere that begs you to settle in and stay awhile. The drink menu was eclectic and thoughtfully curated, offering both trendy and classic cocktails alongside an impressive selection of spirits, beer, and wine. The bartenders were knowledgeable enough to suggest excellent off-menu creations and kept the drinks--including the water--flowing with effortless style and hospitality. The wedge salad was crisp and bright, elevated by thoughtful ingredients like jalapeño bacon and balsamic onions. The crab dip was a standout: packed generously with crab and complemented by just the right amount of cheese, finely chopped red onions, and crispy breadcrumbs. We ended the evening with St. George Absinthe, an absolute gem of an offering. Jake, Brad, and Stormy were kind, attentive, and full of great recommendations without ever feeling pushy or intrusive. We were able to truly enjoy each other's company while feeling genuinely cared for by the staff. Parking in the garage next door was graciously validated at the host stand. We left feeling full, impressed, and already looking forward to returning with family.

Modern has truly risen to become the new Dominic's, with its rustic wooden interior reminiscent of an old mafia movie. The warm ambiance invites you to indulge in a steak dinner or savor a glass of wine. Our waiter, with his warm smile and Aussie accent, made the experience even more enjoyable. He expertly explained the dishes being served and couldn't resist cracking a smile between dinner services. The happy hour menu boasts an incredible selection of crab cakes, muscles, or a simple Caesar salad. But let's not forget their signature martinis, which are simply fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and will definitely be returning.

Where things really took a turn was the food. I was so hoping I found a new staple in our walkable restaurants list but the food was mostly disappointing. We liked our fairly standard French onion soup and Caesar salad. The shrimp cocktail were not good at all. Shrimp was tough and mealy. They marinate them with a bunch of herbs. Maybe that caused the unpleasant texture? On top of that, I did not like the herbs used in the marinade. Good shrimp cocktail stands on its own! I should also add that these were $7/each. A week later I had the most amazing shrimp cocktail - tender and sweet and almost double the size for $4/each. I don't mind paying $7. I've paid $13 each for good shrimp cocktail. Just a lot of money to spend on something so disappointing. Our sea bass was also tough. Flavor was okay. The piece was fairly thin - possibly why it was overcooked? For those who love sea bass, I suggest checking it out at SumoMaya or Dominick's. Can't be beat! Sadly, I don't think we'll be back. Too many other excellent options nearby.

With the cooling fans on throughout, it's not too bad. Latest trip was for my son and friends to celebrate his birthday and it was pretty cool to watch them hit after sunset towards Talking Stick with the changing billboard message on showing on the hotel. The Summer pass is definitely worth it for them as it gives them some options and mixes up the days for them to enjoy. Basic pass is $180 and includes 5 others to join, and for another $20 you can add the feature to make reservations online. It pays for itself after 2 or 3 times, and it breaks up the days for the Teenagers and adults.

We were greeted by our serving staff who were extremely attentive to our party and our needs. They were busy, but didn't make us feel like we were bothering them whenever we needed something. The opportunity to hit a few golf balls and enjoy the ambiance in the background was awesome. We spent a few hours there to be able to do this and it was the perfect amount of time. The restaurant was clean and had few people in it as it was a Monday. Our catering was the fajitas and they were delicious. They definitely had a kick to them, which I enjoyed. I ordered a margarita - which was a little watered down, but I also feel like I'm to blame because I didn't drink it fast enough. Overall a really good venue for a company event or just a night out with your friends!

I wasn't too hungry since I had a big breakfast with another friend that morning, so I just ordered a gem caesar salad ($12) and added grilled chicken (+$6). It was a big portion, so I took a lot of it to go. It tasted great fresh and as leftovers. The place was clean, and the staff were all friendly and courteous. However, our server was leaving her shift soon. So while we were still eating, we went ahead and took care of our bill. She told us she would introduce us to the next server, but that never happened. No one else came to refill our waters. So I docked one star for that.

As soon as I booked my trip to Scottsdale to visit my brother in law, I called this resort and booked our tee time. It's about $220 for a round mid afternoon. Scottsdale has many golf courses but this one is on the top of the list. They have one of the best driving ranges I have been to. We spent 30 mins hitting balls at the range. Unlimited balls at their driving range. Also, your tee fee comes with unlimited driving range balls. Then we spent 20 mins in the putting green. Greens were playing pretty fast and firm. The course layout is amazing. It's not too challenging. We loved it. Fairways were great. We ordered food after the front 9. Sandwich was alright. Nothing too fancy. They have carts come often for drinks. Overall, a great experience. I would come back here again on my next trip to Scottsdale.
