We went tonight for the first time In awhile. The temperature outside was 98 degrees at around 6:15 pm, but under the misters outside it was still completely pleasant. We ordered 4 different types of bruschetta which is a generous portion (mushroom and mascarpone, smoked salmon and pistachio pesto, leek and ricotta, and artichoke). All are decent. Our server was friendly and attentive. For entrees we ordered the kale salad and Tuscan tuna panini with herbed fries (which are new). All well done. Some sort of bar for desert. If you are 25 and single -this is the scene of beautiful people on a Friday night. Definitely visit. read more

We came to this spot after reading great reviews on Yelp. The restaurant is near the lively old Scottsdale but not quite in walking distance of anything else. That being said, they did a good iob of making sure the restaurant has a nice, relaxed ambiance. We sat outside which had plenty of shade. The service from start to end was fairly good. The drinks arrived quickly but the food took way too long to come - especially considering we only ordered a bruschetta board. It shouldn't take that long to bring out toasted bread with toppings. For drinks we ordered the prickly pear margarita and an old fashioned. We ordered the ricotta, dates, and pisatchio bruschetta, the sweet n spicy pepper jam with goat cheese bruschetta, the burrata, bacon, arugula, tomato and lastly the apple, brie and fig. Everything was very underwhelming flavor-wise. The drinks were not very flavorful, although they were strong. These bruschetta could be greatly improved with a different type of bread (more baguette and less grocery-store sliced bread) and a better bread to topping ratio (too much bread to toppings). Of the ones I ate, I found the sweet n spicy pepper jam to be the most flavorful. My partner enjoyed the one with bacon the most. Overall, we would not come eat here again. read more

We had to wait around 30-45 minutes and were seated at a couch area, but they gave the bride a free drink and three free appetizers. Service and food were good. I liked the shareable concept. Postino was near my hotel in Scottsdale and I highly suggest you reserve when coming. It's a lively Italian spot, known for bruschetta boards and their entrees. You must reserve, because it's packed in and out. We had an issue with the reservation, and our hostess was really helpful in accommodating us with it. It's moderately loud, but it's great for date night or with friends. I was also told it was tapas, then told it was Italian. Still not sure what it was, but we ordered how we liked. We will start with the mocktails. I enjoyed The Mockingbird, served in a martini glass and paired wonderfully with my food. It wasn't too sweet or bitter. Felt like I was having an Italian spritz without the bubbles. For dinner, we ordered the shrimp scampi appetizer, skewers, bruschetta board, and a mixed green salad. The bruschetta board allows you to choose four types of bruschetta and we opted for; brie, apple, fig; artichoke spread; smoked salmon and pesto; and ricotta dates, and pistachio. Each bruschetta is on a large piece of bread and cut into four pieces. The bread was soft, and the flavor of each one was wonderful. My favorites were the sweeter ones, because they were different in what I expected. The shrimp scampi was also wonderful, coming with about 5 or so pieces of shrimp, chili, artichoke, and focaccia bread. I was very happy to have this dish. For the skewers, you received on chicken and one beef with what tasted like tzatziki sauce. That wasn't the flavor I was expecting at an Italian restaurant, but I still enjoyed it. The arugula salad was there to provide us with roughage and it was so wonderfully dressed and beautifully presented. Our next course was dessert and we went with the Hot Donut Dots. I was a bit disappointed in this because it didn't seem to be cooked all the way, so we didn't eat all of them. It's served with vanilla, caramel, and chocolate dipping sauces. I enjoyed the caramel sauce the most. Unfortunately, the donuts weren't ready for me to do so. Overall, I liked coming here and the food was pleasant to eat. We stopped here for lunch and sat on the outside patio. They have a very good misting system which made eating outside on a hot day quite enjoyable. Our service was good and the food was very good. We are often disappointed at the flavor of food at many restaurants we have tried, but not here. I had the Nine Iron sandwich and it was very tasty. The side portion was small, but still decent. I had this built into our itinerary while we were in town and ALMOST had to miss it. I am SO HAPPY that I did not bc it was one of my favorite spots. The weather was beautiful so they had the sliding doors/walls open, which only added to the lovely vibes. The cocktails were tasty, the bites were all amazing, the service was welcoming, and it's relatively close to the airport if that matters (mattered to me). All that to say, its not CLOSEEEE, but it was about 1/2 way between where I was staying and the airport, so it was perfect. FAVORITE GIRL DINNER SPOT! Postino's Board & Bottle night is such a fun and worth it experience! The food is amazing, and I love that you can choose from so many different board there's something for everyone, whether you're in the mood for something light or more filling. We came around 1:30pm on a weekday. The restaurant and bar were pretty crowded surprisingly. Thankfully, we only had two of us. We had a seat at the bar which was beautiful during the time of our stay. They open the doors! The weather is gorgeous and you can enjoy your lunch with the breeze. We both enjoyed our glasses of wine at a great price! We both ordered lunch and were VERY happy with our choices. May I just say....the PREAM bowl is AMAZING. The Romesco is perfection and all the ingredients truly go so well together. My husband loved the panini! A group of us went to Postino Highland last night to celebrate a friends dinner, and it was incredible. They seated us outside, and I loved the vibe of this Postino. I think they are all so different but so trendy at the same time. Our misters above our table were a little crazy, and we had to wipe off the table often, but they turned them off before the food got there so no soggy paninis! My bf and I got aperol spritz's which were delicious. I got the nine iron panini with a side salad and it was perfect. The focaccia bread is so light and fluffy - I love! The server also brought out two round of the donut holes at the end since we had a big group, and didn't charge us a large group fee AND allowed us to split checks - limiting weird conversations. 100% will be back to this location and will be on my mind for group dinners after the amazing time! read more

Postino was walking distance from our conference hotel, and we had about an hour and a half to eat so we set off. Immediately upon being seated this place seemed chaotic. They had to move some laptops off of our table to get it open (which was so strange to me). They don't have specific servers assigned to tables, it was kind of communal which seemed like a cool idea. We put in our orders within about 10 minutes of sitting. Our drinks came out pretty fast, the lemonades were really good. Now like I said the idea of community servers sounded cool, but the execution just failed miserably. We waited about 40 minutes from ordering when I asked our server how long it would be. She said "shortly". I said we had to leave in 15 because we wanted to get out of there. 20 minutes later I asked again and someone said "it'll be right out" so we asked to have them boxed because we needed to leave to get back to our meeting. She said sure and let us pay for our food. Then she said "it's ready now, do you still want it boxed" we all said yes. Then, about a minute later, someone brought over our unboxed food. I said "um no, we need to leave, can you box it" and they went "the boxes are over there" . . . I don't know of a world where it is acceptable to take over an hour to get a few sandwiches made. I'm also kind of pissed that we had to box our own food even after waiting that long. Again, I get what they're going for here, but it's not working. I cannot recommend this place to anyone in good conscience because the service was just so horrible. read more

If I had to describe brunch this morning I would give one word. Disappointing. Brunch at Postino used to be top tier. Postino used to be top tier. But it all started when they took the amazing vegetable sandwich and tuna sandwich off the menu. Yeah, the brought the tuna back but not the vegetable. But back to brunch. The avocado toast used to be divine. Fluffy grated hard boiled eggs, crispy bread, fresh lemon oil. Chefs kiss perfection. Today? Chopped eggs. Sad toast. No lemon oil. Bland, basic, sad. To say this disappointing is actually an understatement. I don't think I'll be brunching here again and honestly, there are so many better places to go to. read more

My sister and I love postino and we have gone to every location in Arizona and have always had incredible service. However, we went to this specific location and had the absolute worst time. We sat at the bar and waited 20 minutes to even get served water. When the server came to ask for our order, since we waited so long, we knew what food we wanted. We gave our drink orders and as I was about to give the food order, the server goes "I can't take that now, let me take their drink order first" and pointed to the couple next to us. I found this absolutely odd as she already took our drink order. It took her another 10 minutes to get back to us for us to order a board. We were going to order more but felt like we were inconveniencing the server. I have never waited longer than 7-8 mins for the board to be ready in other locations and this one literally took 20 minutes. Nothing on that board needed to be cooked so it was so odd. The server came by and said "thanks for your patience, should be out soon" I'd suggest telling the servers NOT to thank us for our patience but to apologize for the wait instead. The ambiance in there is wonderful but because the server and everyone else seemed like they would rather stock the fridge or wipe down wine glasses instead of tie good customer service, I'd say it was not good! Go to any other Postino location except this one. read more

Let's start with the good: the bruschetta was delightful. Truly no notes. If I could rate just the bruschetta, we'd be at five stars and I'd be writing a love letter. Now, about that kids menu. I need to speak to whoever designed it because that person has clearly never dined with an actual child. They sent out a PB&J on toasted artisan bread. Toasted. Artisan. Bread. Sir, my kid wants squishy, soft, barely-qualifies-as-bread bread for their PB&J. This is non-negotiable in the under-10 community. The whole plate felt like it was designed by someone whose only experience with children is a stock photo. The brussels sprout salad was a creative exercise in false advertising. What arrived was a mixed greens salad that had apparently walked past a brussels sprout on its way to the table. I counted roughly two. Maybe a third if I'm being generous. If you're going to name the salad after them, they should at least make a meaningful appearance. The kitchen was clearly in the weeds and everything took forever, our salad included. That said, I genuinely cannot say enough about our server. That man was working his tail off and doing everything in his power to keep things on track. They brought out extra chips and comped the kids meal, which was appreciated. The effort and the attitude from the front of house was not the problem here. Postino is a must whenever we're in town! They have a great wine selection, amazing food and great service. This was our first time at this location in Scottsdale. I dropped my husband and grandma at the door to find parking. It was busy but not impossible. They were seated in the bar area and I realized immediately it was too loud for my grandma. I explained the situation and asked the hostess about outside seating. She was super understanding and helpful in finding us a spot quickly outside where my grandma felt more comfortable and she could hear us better. Once we got our new table, our server was helpful in navigating the menu options and quickly took our order. She was attentive and knowledgeable about the wine selection. The food is always good. We got the bruschetta board and not one option on there was bad. This was my first time trying the smoked salmon board and the mushroom fondue and my only complaint was there wasn't enough bread with each so we ordered more. But everything was delicious and super filling for a "girl dinner" style meal. read more

Stumbled across this place while driving through Scottsdale, AZ. Stephanie and I just wanted something to drink after hiking through one of the local parks, so we pulled in. What good luck! We happened to hit their happy hour and it had several good deals on both the wine and food. The specialty of the house is bruschetta. We got the sampler version which was on the specials. It had a really nice variety to choose from. I particularly liked the apple and brie option. It had some sort of jelly underneath that gave it sweet and savory. The salmon with pesto was also popular as we talked to some of the guests at tables nearby. The ambiance was comfortable, with a relaxed vibe that matched our post-hike mood perfectly. The décor was modern but cozy, featuring subtle lighting and tasteful accents that made us feel right at home with some really interesting art. We sat on the outdoor patio, which was perfect given the pleasant Arizona weather. It was shaded nicely, making it comfortable even after our tiring hike. Service was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome despite our casual stop. They picked-up on our need for lots of water. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations, which was appreciated given our unfamiliarity with the offerings. The staff seemed genuinely enthusiastic about their food and drinks, which added to the overall positive experience. Overall, it turned out to be a delightful find, and we'd definitely return to the Georgia location if we get over to Atlanta to explore more of their menu. I hate writing negative reviews, but our experience at Postino in Old Town Scottsdale was honestly shocking, especially considering this was the first dinner of my bachelorette weekend. We had a reservation for 14 people and arrived right on time. One person from our group checked us in, and we waited outside for about 20 minutes. During that time, a host approached us and asked, "what you guys are doing here?" in a noticeably irritated and dismissive tone...as if we were just lingering around instead of clearly waiting to be seated for our reservation. It immediately made us feel unwelcome. Even after that interaction, we still weren't seated right away. When we finally were brought back, our group which had specifically reserved patio seating, was taken to an indoor lounge setup with two couches and a small coffee-table-sized table. It physically could not accommodate 14 people, especially since we were there to eat dinner. One of the couches didn't even have a table in front of it. We politely explained that we didn't fit and that the setup wouldn't work for a meal. The manager came over and was extremely rude and unhelpful, showing zero sincerity or effort to resolve the situation. Instead of trying to accommodate us, we were made to feel like we were inconveniencing them. Ironically, two male servers later came over to apologize for how we were treated and even expressed embarrassment over the situation, which we really appreciated. They were kind and professional. Unfortunately, that level of service did not extend to the management or hosts we interacted with (Davina and Barbara, if I remember correctly). It was incredibly disappointing, especially since this was meant to be a fun and memorable first night of a bachelorette weekend. We chose Postino expecting a welcoming, celebratory atmosphere, and instead felt dismissed and disrespected. Sadly, we won't be returning or recommending this location. read more

I have loved every Postino I have been to. The vibes inside are sophisticated and romantic, but not stuffy. We got the best seat on the outdoor patio next to a roaring fire. The menu consists of mostly plates, boards, paninis, salads, and bites. Cocktail list is extensive. For some reason, the Brushetta Board ($17.50 for 4 types of bruschetta) seemed a little less flavorful than it usually is. We also got the Nine Iron Panini ($15) - it was filling and delicious.
