What can I say, Ian is life saver. I was down but he lift me up. Before him, major bank in Hawaii denied my request for Refinance but as a last resort, from Yelp to found him in the great rating. My family and I had an interesting situation with getting a loan on a home. We had a pre-approval letter from another company, but due to my husbands immigrant status, and lack of credit score the other company was unable to offer us a loan. Six times! That is how many times I had to re-file due to various incompetence and basic errors the Other banks and Other loan officers made that confused the underwriters to deny me the loan. I had 840 credit score, zero debt, no mortgage, but being self-employed meant that just a little effort was going to be necessary between loan officer and underwriter... but I guess minimal effort is to much to ask for and thus a year was wasted.... and then I met Ian. I so wish I had met Ian a year ago! Not only did Ian get it done. Ian got it done well and in a minimal amount of time. Other loan officers: Pretended to care but when it came to doing ANYTHING that required them to exert the basic of effort it was oblivious I was just a number to them. If I did not babysit them or keep up on them, my file would just be further down the pile and progress would not happen. Often they would forget or not pay attention to critical details. I cannot tell you how many times I felt like I was having to do their job for them. Ian: It is overtly obvious that he cares. Every step of the way Ian exuded his passion and desire to always do whatever it takes to make sure things are done right the first time, they are done thoroughly and done professionally well. It is obvious he has a healthy pride for his work and excited to help get you your loan. Other loan officers: Difficult to get ahold of. There were times it would be a week or two before I would get a response after leaving emails and phone messages. Ian: Often would answer right when I call or would immediately respond with "Get right back with you soon." And he would!! I know he is busy, I know he has many other clients and files on his desk but I was always treated like I was his only client and he was there to give me 110% each time, every call, each text, email.... and he always knew every detail of my loan situation. Other loan officers: Often left me wondering if they knew how to do their job or even understood their job. It was more than obvious they did not care. I was just a file on their desk. Ian: By the time I met Ian, I was like the beaten dog in the corner with a bit of a snarl... Ian was patient. Ian took his time. Ian, with grace and ease, calmed my stresses and concerns. He remained supportive to my need to triple check things at times or question his progress due to the past experiences. Ian is confident and competent and left me each time knowing my loan was in great hands. I knew at times I was an impatient pain in the ass. More than once I apologized to Ian. Every time, Ian genuinely assured me that it was not an issue at all and remained understanding and patient the entire way often reexplaining things to me for the umpteenth time until the answers to my questions finally sank in. Not once, not ever, did I feel him frustrated or regret taking on my need for a loan. In fact, it was the exact opposite. Every call, every email, every text... all I felt from Ian was his gratitude for me being his client... eh.. I think I should correct that and say friend. He always treated me with respect and that he was genuinely happy to work with me. He was open and listened on a few bumpy days and he always remained positive and supportive. It was clear that he was determined to make sure he was able to get me a best loan possible in as short amount of time as possible. And he did just that. I got a great loan and now have a good friend that also happens to be a loan officer. I am confident with putting my name and reputation behind referring you to Ian. after consulting with several different brokers who all looked at my file and told me that they cannot help me Ian was the only person who kept an open mind and found creative solutions for my investment property. Ian stayed diligent and calm through the whole process despite many difficulties with the appraiser, and the lender through whom he brokered the deal. even though I could have gone directly to the lender it was well worth it to have Ian as a middle person in this transaction. He even emailed the CEO of the lending company after my loan was denied a couple days before closing due to a technical error with the kitchenette.
