Love love love!! They take such good care of my Pomeranian Aaliyah. I've brought her here about 3-4 times now and her cut is perfect every time. Pomeranians are basically little balls of fur, I usually get her full haircut when it starts getting nice out and they always make sure her Face is framed perfectly and tail is always even. Her appointments are usually about 2 hours and that's for a full groom. They can always fit me in within 2-3 days when ever I call and it's super affordable and clean. The grooming tables and and dogs are all kept right behind the counter so you can see everything when you walk in. They also give her a a cute little handkerchief scarf after every groom!

I usually don't like to go out of my way to leave a bad review but I'm so upset with this place. They clearly don't know how to work with Goldendoodles or at least follow certain request. After leaving my dog there at 10 am and getting a call 5 hours later, my dog chewed through his harness from anxiety of being in a crate for such a long time. They overbooked and just rushed through all the dogs they had booked today. At 10 am there were already 5 plus dogs in crates. I always want to support local businesses but the job they did was unacceptable with cuts around his belly and being charged $95 for them to pretty much shave him down and now I have to replace a $40 harness. I won't be taking my dog back.

Both of my dogs looked and smelled great. The downside, our smaller dog developed an abcess a week post grooming which cost us nearly $1600.00 in vet bills. We were told it was from a scrape that got infected and couldn't pinpoint it to grooming but that is the only place she would have gotten such a scrape. Luckily, she has made a complete recovery. I will NOT be going back there. read more

I just moved in the area and was looking for a good local grooming salon for my dog and came across this place. I wanted to give it a shot and I can gladly say I'm SO thankful with the way they groomed my dog. My dog is a mix and she can be scared with hair cuts. I went off to work while my husband dropped her off, and when I came home I was in tears with how cute she looked! Great price, for a great cut. my dog oreo is very nervous and anxious around new people, and at other groomers such as petco and pet smart, he wouldn't let them touch his face, resulting in very long bangs. but at ibark, it was like he was a new dog. he was treated with care and love and it showed. he had amazing cuts and he always came home with a new bandanna! i would recommend this salon over and over again. read more

I see lots of good reviews for this business... But me and my sweet dog don't have anything good to say about this place. I have a Yorke and he's the love of my life a few years ago I brought me doggie to this groomers and I ended up in the ER vet. Apparently my dog got hit by someone or something in this place. He got hit so hard that the veins from his eyes exploded from such a blunt trauma to his head. When I went to pick him up all that they could tell me is the reason that he's he's eyes are so red is because he has an eye infection. therefore I took him ER vet and it turn out it wasn't an eye infection. Please pay attention to your pets before you take them here and after when you pick them up. read more

Picked up my sister's dog from here a few times. Each time there was an issue. They forgot a nail trim they forgot an anal expression they forgot a bath. How do you forget a bath? When I called to try to get a solution the receptionist Anthony kept interrupting me and would not let me speak. He also said the owner was not in but when I went he was? Went in and "owner" claimed it was done. Was met with attitude. Gave wrong information to me and my sister. Did not want to let me speak. "Receptionist" Anthony sat like he owned the place when he hung up on me for no reason. Horrible place.Ive worked at multiple dog shelters/grooming. Worst place yet. Looking at other low reviews and they always have an excuse and you can FEEL the attitude in the response. They also only use the reviews they like on their actual webpage. I took Roscoe in here for the first time this morning and they did an amazing job. I know my pup can get a little sassy when getting his anal glands and front paws messed with, but the guy that took care of him did an amazing job! He asked a couple of questions on how I wanted Roscoe to look like, and that definitely put me at ease. Scheduling an appointment was a breeze! The response that the company had was quick (I messaged them well after business hours) and they got him in the very next day early morning. read more

I brought my dog to this place and the way they did his haircut was horrible. It was all chopped and uneven, and they charged me extra for the service. In the past they have forgotten to clean his teeth and I wasted my time by taking him and not getting a full service. I asked for some type of discount or special treatment for the inconvenience the answer was simply no. Spoke to the manager who was very rude and told me not to come back again just because I said that the service was not the best and there was a customer in there. He got upset I said that in front of the customer. The manager is not professional at all. read more

I love it here, I don't always get my dog a fancy bath since she doesn't get too dirty, her summer baths are usually after we go to the beach or she gets muddy, but it gets too cold to give her a bath in the basement this time of year. I love how they are always prompt and my little girl smells and looks so darn cute! I love the bows! my go to place. read more

I took my puppy here for his first ever grooming and I was so impressed by the experience that I had to share. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. I reached out asking basic questions that I'm sure could have been answered by looking at their website, but each time I would reach out I would get a prompt response back with all the information I needed. The facility is very clean and organized, as well as easy to get to. We were able to park on the street around the corner but was told that there is free parking across the street from the Salon. Brenda greeted Sookie and I as soon as we walked in, very friendly and welcoming. The groomer Juan even came out and his skill and knowledge was obvious from the moment I started talking with him. The groomer did an EXCELLENT job!!! Sookie looks awesome and smells amazing. They even styled Sookie with a CUBS bandana. I noticed from pictures on their website that every pet receives one during their visit. How awesome is that??? Thank you iBark Grooming Salon for such a wonderful experience. We've been taking our dog here for over a year now and we are so happy with the work and the service. I've never had a hard time setting an appointment, as he saves your dogs information and I believe he saves the cut preference. Everytime I come in he asks me, "are we doing the same thing as before before" and the cut always looks the same in style and quality. I highly recommend this place read more

We went today for the first time and will return. They got us in within a half hour of us calling to make an appointment. My dog has unique needs and we like to get her in and out of grooming pretty quickly. They got her out in 45 minutes with just a cut, no bath. New customers get $10 off the first visit as far as I can tell. My dog is a small 10 pound shihpoo and the cut looks great. Had been going to a different groomer and was getting inconsistent results. I've been to iBark several times now. At first I was really impressed. They got everything right. Then, one time they didnt pluck their ears, even though that's what I wanted them to do. Since they did it the first time I was expecting them to do it all subsequent times. This last time the groomer must have been in a bad mood because both of my dogs cuts are sloppy. One of my dogs is acting traumatized so I dont know what might have happened to her. She hasn't acted like this before when I've taken her there. I'm not happy with their cuts and I'm going to have to calm down my sensitive dog. Sorry iBark. I think you are good , just not a comfortable fit with my dogs. read more

ibark did a great job! I called to make an appointment and it was a breeze. Had to call to schedule later and the man in the phone rescheduled it with no problem. I've taken my girl here, but from the experience we were left it did not go as planned as we hoped. From the glimpse of it they seem to be overly packed with dogs in cages, each stemmed to be shaking inside and not cleaned well. My dog fifi went in for her regular haircut etc but her nails weren't even trimmed right they were left rough and uneven. I feel like there's other places that could manage their dog salon. I must say, this grooming place is top notch. Our mini-poodle Jay had the works & he came out of this salon on St. Paddy's day looking great! I personally checked Jay at home from nose to tail for any cuts & iBark did an outstanding job on his grooming. Perfect! The staff was pleasant & the price is right. These guys are some of the best in the business when it comes to dog grooming. Every time I pick my pooch up here she always comes out looking great. Her hair is always cut to the style we want and she is clean and happy everytime we go here. I also like that they place a little banadana on her after every appointment. When I called to book an appointment, there were no openings due to prior bookings, and because it was already later in the day. Within five minutes, I got a call back from a gentleman asking if I still wanted to bring my puppy in, due to a cancelation. I immediately said yes, and brought my puppy for his first trim. The gentleman I met when I came in, provided me great customer service and did a great job with my puppy. My puppy was well groomed and smelled good. read more

I said yes and confidently left, expecting consistency with the previous groom. Unfortunately, that was not the case at all. They cut my dog's hair extremely low and completely ignored the previous grooming guidelines. When I expressed my concerns, the groomer responded by saying When I expressed my concerns, the groomer responded by saying she had "shaved his nails for free," which she said is normally a $10 add-on. I explained that it still didn't address the issue at hand and that it should have either been communicated or charged properly as an add-on if that was the case, because it didn't resolve my concern about the haircut. I was told there was "nothing they could do" and that "for future reference" I should bring a photo. I didn't think a photo was necessary for a repeat appointment when the staff made it seem like they already understood what was expected based on his last service. The manager called the next day, listened to everything that happened, and ultimately only reiterated that they do not offer refunds or discounts. No apology, no empathy, and no accountability for the poor experience. The only response I kept hearing was "for future reference." To make matters worse, my dog's ears were cut so short that he barely even looks like he has ears anymore. The haircut looks nothing like the previous groom, and it's honestly upsetting to look at. Since the appointment, he hasn't even seemed like his usual energetic self. I trusted this salon to care for him properly, and instead I left feeling dismissed and deeply disappointed. A total waste of $80 and a tip. PHOTOS BELOW: As you can see in the attached photos, his beautiful black coat was shaved down entirely too close, leaving his face and ears completely bare.

Her coat (not kidding) feels like cashmere after Shayna is none with her!! We absolutely love Blooms Grooms. There are a lot of dogs on our block. I hope Shayna gets a bunch more business from in our neighborhood ( Rogers Park). Ps. Our dog made it to the 'dogs of fame' pics on their website. Also, he doesn't even check vaccine record and he talks way too much. If you go, be prepared to be in their for 25 minutes. Thankfully, I found someone else who is way cheaper; they groom my dog the way I want, brush his teeth, and trim his nails for the price of $58. I will not be taking my dog back to John.

One of the true pleasures of living in a big city it to discover treasures in the most unexpected of places. Who would think that dog grooming would be one such place but I consider CleanDog to be a treasure in Chicago. John brings a rare combination of pride or work and some kind of genius for dog grooming that is ineffable; he just has a feel and an incredible talent for working with dogs. What brought me in the door for our Maltipoo Bailey is that I was looking for someone who would not immediately resort to shears to deal with some matting (admittedly, we had let Bailey go and she was very matted). I know that taking her to our prior groomer would result in her coming home shivering and looking like a short-haired chihuahua. Reading the reviews here led us to CleanDog. In short, John did not disappoint. He is so kind and helpful and went the extra mile (and then another extra mile and then another after that). As others have experienced, we could not believe how wonderful she looked. In fact, it was the best she has ever looked, hands down. John patiently brushed her out, gave her a much needed bath, and then working his own unique magic, brought out the scissors and turned her into a show dog. I can't imagine taking her for grooming anywhere else in Chicago.

Everyone at Sandy's has made him feel so comfortable and have been very dedicated to his grooming appointments for the last few years. What we particularly like about this location is that they don't use crates when they're drying the dogs. Your dog has open play and Mason loves socializing with the other dogs while he's there. I dropped her off and was called 40minutes later stating that they were done but was unable to clip here finger nails because she was frightened. It was understandable. I picked her up and grabbed her in a rush due to me being on break for work. Once I got home, I realised that they actually cut her nails and lied because they hurt her. I noticed there was dried blood on her paws. I will not be returning and would not recommend their services. The workers could of been honest; I understand that mistakes happen but they should of owned up to it.

I've taken my dogs Abby and Lulu in twice now and this is my go to place for my dogs grooming needs moving forward. Juan the groomer is very nice, he always greets with a smile. The first time I walked in I was so impressed by how clean it was not to mention it smelled good too, unlike other grooming places I've visited before. Prices are reasonable and they offer $10 off the first grooming service, which is great! The first time I went in this discount was what caught my eye, I asked a lot of questions about their services and Juan always answered patiently, I can tell he is very knowledgeable. My dogs look and smell great after each visit. They love visiting too because they get a treat after their grooming.
