These folks run a pretty unethical practice and I don't expect them to be around too long !! I bought a Groupon and a few hours before the appointment I called to confirm and they told me that they only accept Zelle and Venmo . I said it doesn't matter coz I have a Groupon and they said they'll offer the same rate if I cancel the Groupon . I didn't but they emailed Groupon and said that my skin was not appropriate for the treatment so they were offering the refund . I still went ahead coz I had driven a good 45 mins and it eventually was costing me the same. Later I refused to pay by Zelle and Venmo and they said that they accept credit card too but they would charge me the transaction fee too and I said Groupon didn't charge me the transaction fee so I won't pay it and they agreed . The facial - they told me if I used the Groupon they would do a basically facial and otherwise they would upgrade the serum . As the girl started working on my face . She started talking about my facial hair and tried to sell me hair removal packages at which time I told her I don't any sales being done to me while I'm getting a facial . I feel like they cut corners and didn't use the necessary serums for the facial and it's my guess but upon leaving while dressing up I checked and what she referred to as serums were the glycolic and salicylic acid that is used in the facial and I didn't see any empty vials . So I don't know what they did . Overall , this business is deeply unethical and I don't know what I got, but I'm not going back . This is my fifth visit to this venue. I was here 4 times in 2023 to have permanent eyebrows done first, followed by 2-month brow touch up, then eyeliner a few days later, with liner touch up two months later. I believe Stephanie was the name of the tech who did most of it and I was actually pleased with the outcome that I had decided to book my appointment for the next touch up. The manager at the time picked the dates to make sure I get them done within one year to take advantage of discounted price. I wish I could remember the manager's name at the time who was really great at making you feel comfortable. Fast forward to 2024, I started getting the usual text reminders a couple of days before my appointment. I show up on the day of and the person in front kept asking for my name. It seemed she couldn't find a record of my appointment even after I showed her the text reminders and provided my phone number. She seemed really confused and said that the eyebrow tech will be in shortly who could help sort things out. Sure enough, she showed up a couple of minutes later and explained that they recently changed their software and that they haven't quite figured out how to stop the old system from sending reminders. So it looks as if they migrated the customer database and the outcalling functionality to a new system but failed to do the same for the calendar? And to stop the old system from sending reminders? Don't you typically shut the old system down when you push the new one into production? Anyways, that's beside the point. They proceeded to ask what my appointment was for (brow touch up) and assured that they can still do it and even do eyeliner touch up as well (yes, she's double-booked and the client that was on calendar arrived about 10 minutes after I did). So we talk about costs and since I'm doing it within the one-year mark, $200 for each procedure but could still be based on pigmentation (which is more than I remember from the previous year-$150). I hadn't decided on the eyeliner because I was told the previous year that they only had to do touch up once. I had already spent over $1K so I'm not too thrilled about the price hike, but whatever. I was there last Saturday and decided that I needed at least 3 days to calm myself down before writing this review to make sure that I'm not being too harsh and not totally driven by emotions right at that moment. If you're not sure where to go for perm makeup Stop your search. This is the place! They get a perfect 10 for fixing everything that no one else could. I did not expect to have such amazing results after someone else messed them up a couple years ago- they were uneven, mis-shaped and had a bluish, purple tint. Eyelash dye and curl. It was last minute, I made the appointment before a funeral. Dia was so professional, careful, and precise. My lashes are thick - so it took more time for them to curl. It was pleasant, professional, and pain free. She took careful time to make sure I was taped and prepped so no dye transfer or perming fluid. She did an incredible job and my very stubborn straight lashes curled. The tinting looks excellent, just what I needed before an event where I would be crying. Apart from my needs, it was just such a clean, professional, wonderful space that I'm so happy I found them and happy to go back! I will definitely be returning. My sister had her lashes tinted for this event at a different place (which made me think of finding an appointment) and her eyes were red because the process had not gone well. The only issue I had was how long my lashes took to curl, but that's based on how thick my lashes are. But I could have taken a nap it was so comfortable. I'm so happy with my results. This is a long and overdue review, but worth reading. I actually am not the type of person who writes reviews, but my experience in lip blush I thought had to be shared since it was unique. My first visit to iBeauty was in mid-January of this year, 2021. It is located in Fremont; the studio is very nice and clean. I was interested in getting lip blush done. Kate is the owner and licensed professional / specialist / technician. She is not only a cosmetology artist, but also an art expert, her paintings are tastefully displayed on the walls of iBeauty. During my phone conversation and in-person consultation with Kate, I told her my 2 major issues with my lips: (1) I have dark lips, and wanted to lighten them, and (2) I wanted to have a more defined cupid's bow, that's the top center of the lips. And of course, the obvious reason, I wanted to have color on my lips so that I don't have to worry about reapplying lipstick throughout my workdays. I asked if lip blushing was the procedure I needed to obtain my goals. Kate explained her technique step by step and answered all my questions; she is very professional and has a sense of humor. I was so nervous and anxious, but her warmth and focus put me at ease. Kate began by drawing an outline on my lips using the colors we agreed to give an idea of what it will look like, we made a few adjustments, when all looked good, she was ready to start. A topical cream was applied to help numb my lips. I would be such a liar if I were to say that it didn't hurt, it really truly hurt!! But when I let her know that I was in pain, she applied more topical cream. The process was about 2 hours or so. When Kate was done, I looked in the mirror, and my lips were ginormous, I mean, they were huge; my lips beyond swollen. I was happy that I had this done while we were all required to wear masks. My lips remained BIG for 3-4 days. I was given aftercare instructions, and Kate reminded me that I will need to come back for a follow-up session in about 6-8 weeks to do touch ups and make any corrections needed. Kate was really good about texting and checking up on me. I sent her pictures to show progression. The healing process took about 6 or 7 days, but it didn't seem like the color on my lips stayed. My lip color was back to normal. Because my lips are naturally dark, I was bummed and was convinced that this was not going to work on me. Kate kept telling me not to give up and she was confident that she can help me. Lip blushing is typically l a 2-session process, but in my case, she told me that I might have to come back for a 3rd time. My second/follow-up session was in early March. I can honestly say that Kate truly cares for her clients as well as the outcome of her work, because she knew how concerned I was with how exceptionally swollen my lips got after my initial visit She is very skillful in her craft; Kate incorporated and added a step during my second session, and as a result, my lips were not as huge as they were after my last visit, and the swelling went down after a day or 2. This seriously meant a lot to me because I felt like she customized my 2nd session and tailored it to my lips' reactions and outcome. I also expressed how much pain I experienced during the 1st procedure, so she kept reapplying the numbing cream more often which reduced the pain by 80-90%. The healing time after my 2nd visit went down from 7 days to 4. My third and last visit was in late April. This time, Kate used color or shade darker than what we originally planned. I think she did this so that the color would stay on my lips. I should not have doubted the process at all, and just trusted Kate since she is the expert. I am happy I got this lip blush procedure done. I definitely recommend this to others. My lips are not as light as I hoped, but partly because it now has color. I LOVE that I don't have worry about reapplying lipstick. I totally recommend Kate to anyone wanting to try lip blushing. She listens to your individual concerns and wishes, and will work with you to reach your desired outcome. I hope my review and photos are helpful. read more

I had a very bizarre encounter with this company where I have received a Groupon voucher for a facial as a gift. When I called them to make an appointment they would not book me and insisted that I should call Groupon and say that I have an emergency and therefore needed a refund. They promised to give me the service with a cheaper price than what my husband had payed. I hate doing shady things like that and it's honestly a hassle but since they just wouldn't give me an appointment I was left with no options. Well, firstly I learned that there is no customer service number for Groupon and I had to email them. Secondly, I also learned that the value of the Groupon is not the same price that is payed initially. So when I told them the value of the Groupon and they gave me a cheaper price, it would have still been $50 more than what my husband payed for the Groupon which I didn't know at the time. And obviously they know what kind of Groupons they have sold so they basically tried to scam me to come with a higher price by saying they give me a better deal. Luckily Groupon did refund us after we told them that the company does not value the voucher and complained. But this company has fishy business practices and I would not recommend them to anybody nore would I want to go there myself anymore. If you commit to some vouchers you have to honour the deals you made even if you later decide it wasn't a good choice! read more

I only went here for Rachel one of their lash techs. I actually have not gotten lashes in years but decided to test them out for wedding lashes. I went to Rachel twice and loved it. Third time around, I wanted to book with Rachel again but when I came in it wasn't Rachel. I should've turned away at that moment. My lash tech was extremely nice but the lashes were not the style I wanted (not that the lashes were bad, just not how I wanted to have my lashes for my wedding). If I were to rate the lash tech I would give her 5 stars. But the salon I would give 2 stars. They told me Rachel was on holiday but I learned that she doesn't work there anymore. I felt deceived. Now I have to scramble to find another lash tech right before my wedding. Their appointment system is also terrible. When I tried to book with Rachel twice through the website they also had to reschedule me so I don't think their times or dates are correct on the website. Also be wary of buying the yelp deal 100 for 150. The front desk did not want to accept it even though I checked before hand if I should get it and they said it was fine. So Rachel and the other lash tech are great and deserve 5 stars but this salon I would give 2. read more

She was going to make the brows even. She worked on the right brow. No charge . After a month and a half my brows are definitely not the look I was going for. . Not the color I was aiming for and I still need to use pencil. Gave them 3 stars bcz she tried to make it right. Ask who did the before and after pictures and ask for that person to do the work.
