Was very excited to hear this re-opened after being closed. I messaged them on ig about live music which they have Friday and Saturdays 630-9, saw they advertised happy hour 5-630 decided to give it a try! I asked the bartender and manager about the happy hour specials and they both were not aware of happy hour. I had to show them the instagram post from April 11, 2024. The manager said they have a new marketing team and they were not told. Got my beer and it was warm, flat, tasted watered down. Had one drink and left. This place needs a lot of work, miss the old Ibiza. Hopefully they bring back happy hour for food as well. read more

I truly love a good patio, seriously. Even before COVID and the changes it has brought, nothing beats a breezy evening on a lovely patio with lovely friends. This was my first time coming to Ibiza. It was a great way to end First Friday, much calmer than the rest of downtown. It was honestly kind of fun, being up on the patio while the rest of downtown was chaos with all the people enjoying art walk and cars driving by. So you can't go to a Spanish bar and not order a Sangria. So I ordered the sangria with sparkling wine because that just sounded refreshing after the walk over. It was fabulous, I'd happily go back and try all the variations. Augie is super great and I appreciate his willingness to drum up a mocktail for a friend who doesn't drink alcohol but should also get to enjoy something fun! After a week of eating heavy New Mexican cuisine traveling, I was ready for a change of pace. When the front desk mentioned the Andaluz hotel restaurants were Mediterranean my stomach went "hell yeah!". Settled into the room and went down for some tapas. Seating is fatty friendly, they have wide couches with low coffee tables. Other seating was round bucket seats with arm rests, not fatty friendly. Outdoor seating is armless patio chairs. Our server was very sweet and we could tell the few folks working were overwhelmed by the low staff. From where I was seated I watched folks run food up the the stairs from the main restaurant below. Like out of breath running multiple orders of food up a flight of stairs. Have a lot of patience when you come here and tip well. Booze first: My nom noms companion had a coke. It tasted like a coke. I had the Andaluz. I love spicy things, when I read it had cucumbers and jalapeños, I was all in. When it arrived I saw jalapeño seed floating around, I was excited and expecting a nice burn. The jalapeño was not spicy, I could barely taste it. The cucumbers were the real star, they were bright flavor throughout the drink. The nom noms companion had the blackened salmon. It was simply grilled, tasted smoky and wouldn't you know it like salmon. The accompanying mashed potatoes were overly salty. The arugula salad according to my nom noms companion had "some kind of vinaigrette". The crispy lobster Caesar salad what is a sight to behold. It was a head of Romain lettuce sliced in half lengthwise, grilled and covered in lobster nuggets. I love the smoky taste of the Romain lettuce I could do without crispy lobster nuggets. The lobster nuggets had a undercooked flour flavor to them and we're unpleasant. The grilled tomatoes and dressing were lovely. I had no idea what to do with the slivers of fried plantains. Was I supposed to drag them through the dressing or crunch them up on top of by head of lettuce? The whole plate was rather comical. Like an inside joke between the kitchen staff. read more

I absolutely loved this place! My team and I were visiting from Southern California and looking for a great place to hang out, grub and get our drink on before learning for the airport to come home. The bartender hooked me up with a sending creation and the wait staff here were friendly, helpful, and professional. The appetizers and entrees were to die for! Would have been nice for some direction, but it wasn't too complicated to figure it out. The view is mainly buildings, but there are a few art walls at the very end that were nice to look at. I'm sorry to say that on our return to the "remodeled" Ibiza Lounge they have not gotten the basics down. The space looked very much like it did before and we tried to assess what had been remodeled. We ordered Sazeracs which came out in a cup full of ice (not at all the classic drink) and we were charged $5 more than the listed price for this cup full of ice. The brussel sprouts were amazingly delicious and the mezze platter was pretty good except one of the dips was too hot to really enjoy. Albuquerque is one lucky ass city to have such an incredible lounge/bar right smack in the middle of the city. Super cool, chic I feel like I am on vacation while sipping on creative cocktails and snacking on perfectly cooked sliders and truffle frites. Ibiza is true to it's name with a Spanish/Moorish theme. This rooftop bar is nestled away in a quiet corner of the Andaluz Hotel. The main bar area is warm and inviting, and we were lucky to score Lisa as our bartender the last two evenings. She was patient and friendly and very engaging while mixing up some very tasty drinks. But I am sure no matter who you're bartender is, I am sure you will still get the same great service. Beyond the bar there is a very nice outdoor seating area, surrounded by a soothing waterfall and plenty of comfortable couches and tables where you can kick your feet up and have quiet conversation with friends. Seriously, I cannot stress what a great bar this is. If we had this back home I would for sure become a serious bar fly groupie and drink up plenty cucumber-jalepeno margaritas. read more

We've been going to Ibiza for years and it's consistently good. After trying a number of beverages, the Your Way Red Sangria is my favorite. Arcy, Grace, and the rest of the bar staff are friendly and will do their best to take care of you. I like that they concoct unique beverages and that a food menu is available too! It seems that other rooftop bars have taken some of their business, but I firmly believe Ibiza is one of the best offerings in Albuquerque. Come for drinks, music, and great people. read more

I absolutely love this place! It's right across the street from my office so it's very convenient for happy hour :) I went with some co-workers on a Thursday right after work. Luckily we got there right when they opened the rooftop patio at 5 and were able to grab a comfy sofa. Looks like they got new furniture and redecorated since the last time I was there and it looks really great. They have a great happy hour with some $5 drinks and appetizers. I ordered a house margarita and my friends and I shared an order of $5 nachos, $5 wings, and $5 bacon wrapped figs. Everything was really, really tasty. I highly recommend this place! read more

Lots of mixed thoughts about this place... To be fair, I have never lived in Albuquerque so I am not judging based on other restaurants/ bars in the area. I am a massive self-proclaimed foodie and have some issues with this place. I sat at the bar at a time that wasn't crowded and had the following items: 1. The paloma: I asked the bartender not to make the drink too sweet. It was pretty tart when it got to me (which is better than it being too sweet). The drink was alright but not anything that would motivate me to come back. The drink selection was not great. 2. The fried avocado tacos: The fried avocado itself was good. My main issue was with the lack of depth in flavor. There was supposed to be a honey-jalapeno spread. I could not taste any jalapeno. The "spread" was more of a crema. Additionally, the "cilantro salad" was really just pickled onions and something yellow (which was maybe pickled cilantro stalks?)... This dish wasn't bad by any means but I feel like there were a ton of missed opportunities with this one. This could've been an awesome balance of fat, acid, sweet, and spicy but it just wasn't. 3. The "bruschetta": This was not a bruschetta. It was more like cream of mushroom soup with a piece of egg toast. It was an extremely rich dish with very little brightness/acidity. The mushroom/cream flavor was good but the dish was lacking an element of freshness which could have been achieved with less "crema"/soup and an acid element or fresh greens. Overall, I felt like there was a lot of false advertising on the menu. The mushroom crema was more like a soup and the cilantro salad was non-existent. If this is one of the best places to grab elevated food/drink in ABQ as other reviews have suggested, I feel bad for the city. Service was friendly but nothing over the top. The view was really nice and I liked the ambience. Cocktails were nothing special. read more

Ibiza... you are the rooftop bar every hotel should have. While staying at the Hotel Andaluz, a colleague of mine really wanted to watch the Thunder/Clippers game, and we were pretty happy to find a seat at Ibiza's bar. We were mostly happy because of the huge TV right in front of us, but also because of the creative cocktail menu. There were so many choices, and I don't think there's a bad thing on the menu. I still regret not trying the jalapeño cucumber margarita, but I'll be getting that next time, without a doubt. I sampled a few others, and they were all better than the last. I was also able to try a few things off the tapas menu... the hummus and olives are a major win, as is the artichoke and goat cheese dish. The food is decent, but drinks are where Ibiza really shines. The atmosphere is the best part of this hotel hot-spot, and you really should sit out on the patio if the weather is cooperating. If not, the bar inside should do just fine. The bartender that was there the few days we visited was so friendly and welcoming. Couldn't love this little spot more than I do. I was brought here for my birthday back in July and instantly fell in love with the atmosphere, not to mention ALL of the amazing flavors. My boyfriend and I were expecting them to be smaller plate sizes like traditional tapas so we ordered multiple dishes to share and were surprised with how much there was between the two of us. Totally worth the price! There wasn't a single thing we didn't have to gamble over who got the last bite. The only reason I would give 4 instead of 5 stars is because the staff were not as polite as I would have anticipated for such an amazing place. (Appetizers are 1/2 off) WHAT TO ORDER: the "Little Piggies" which are pulled pork mini sandwiches with red cabbage slaw. We could have eaten 10 of those! They come on a tray with two of them. We also got the hummus plate which was good (it's hummus) but nothing that I hadn't tasted before. The atmosphere is really relaxing. We sat in oversized cushy chairs and listen to guitar music which was in the background while my fiancé and I talked. I came here with friends for the first time and we stayed outside and enjoyed the rooftop bar and patio. Ibiza is situated within the Hotel Andaluz which is inspired by various cities in Spain. The bartender and wait staff were very friendly and managed our large group successfully. I tried the green chili burger which proved to be quite a mouthful. The burger itself was delicious and was filled with honey glazed bacon and hatch green chiles. I tried two different local craft beers which likewise did not disappoint. An overall excellent experience. The hotel and bar were clean, well maintained, and spacious. I wish I were staying here for my time in NM. read more

I was stuck in Albuquerque for a weekend, and the cool bar I discovered on Friday night was already closed by midnight. So I went out looking for a bar to grab a few drinks at. I walked up and down Central, and every bar was blaring music and had a bunch of kids falling over drunk. Not my scene. Finally I stumbled upon Ibiza, which was a rooftop "club" at a hotel around the corner from the main drag. No cover, so that's good, but my scotch was like $12. At least the bartender gave me a generous pour as the bottle was almost out. Oh, and they were wearing smoking hot outfits. But living in Vegas, this place is really nothing special. Ibiza was nice enough to let the Elites gather here last-minute due to a cancellation for our Balloon Fiesta event and I'm really glad we were able to get together here since I'd never been to the lounge before. What a great view of Albuquerque! If you sit outside on the rooftop patio of Ibiza, you get some great views of the city! It was nice to relax with a cold beer after work with such a great view. The appetizers that Howie ordered for us were really good. I was most impressed with the amazing truffle frites. YUM! I think these are some of the best truffle fries I've had! The white truffle oil really comes through, they put a lot on the fries which I absolutely loved! Now, every time I have truffle fries, I always go back to these ones as a comparison. The boquerones en vinagre were something else. I'm not a big fan of anchovies, so I took them off, but the bruschetta without the anchovies hit you in the face with flavor from the marinated tomatoes. They were so good! We also had the achiote potatoes & chorizo, which was also a big hit with our Elite. The potatoes were cooked to perfection without being over/under cooked and the oil from the chorizo added a lot of flavor. ALL-IN-ALL: Beautiful views of Albuquerque from the rooftop, great appetizers (small plates), and overall a great place to have a drink and relax. Definitely stop by Ibiza and check it out! The first time I went it took an hour for my salad to show up to the table. Service got better on the weekend- perhaps they had more hands on deck. I enjoyed chatting with Olivia. She was so sweet. They can make any drink you request and have a few hand crafted cocktails that are unlike anything I've ever seen. Try the Sandia haze. read more
