Went by recently after a few attempts and found they were closed despite the sign saying it was during business hours. I was a little disappointed that they've really trimmed their tapas menu and have added some steakhouse dishes, which to me feels like they've deviated a little from their original identity. BUT- I get that they have to do what they have to do to keep the business running and cater to a larger market. Unfortunately, my husband's steak was over cooked BUT they did make him a new one which was nice! I still love that there's a place to get cocktails and Spanish tapas. I'll need to come back again. We didn't get the paella this time but it was good in the past. I still like the vibe and there was some live music playing when we went. Came here on a Tuesday evening and was immediately seated for my table of two! We ordered the paella mixta and patatas bravas con aioli as an appetizer. We finished everything, with only a little bit of the potatoes and paella meat left to take home. Service was quick, we received a good amount of attention as there were only a few other parties in the establishment. The estimated 30-40 minutes for the paella to be made is accurate. The quality of the food was quite good. We found the paella a bit too salty, and the consistency was a bit more like risotto due to its creamier/liquidy texture. There was no skimping on the meats, which I loved! The mussels were cooked perfectly, and the meats were seasoned very well. The brava sauce in our potatoes was very spicy, it comes separated from the garlic aioli so my friend and I mixed the sauces together to make it more palatable for us/creamier and less spicy. The taste of the sauces was great, the garlic taste was very present in the aioli, and the potatoes were roasted to perfection. It's considered fine dining, but it's a lot more affordable than anything in the Bay Area, which I appreciated. We ended up paying around $80-90 with tip, and left very full. I would totally come back here to try more tapas and another paella! read more

I visited this place for girls night out, they have pretty good drink specials. On Saturdays they have Paloma's for $5 dollars. We ordered a few rounds they were a little bit on the weak side. You get what you pay for. for starters we ordered the fried calamari, for our entrées we had the Caesar salad, scampi shrimp, and mixed paella. Literally had a feast here on my birthday and had a blast!! When you walk into this establishment, you feel like you've walked into a different world. It is so beautiful inside with a bar on the right and seats to the left and outside in the patio area. The ambience is a 10/10. Perfect for date nights, birthdays, and events. I stopped in for Drinks today, the drinks were pretty sweet. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. When we expressed concern to the bartender about the sweetness of the drink he just offered a different one but not to remake it or take it off the tab. We ordered the patatas bravas con aioli, gambas de ajillo, and 2 paella mixtos. Everything was super delicious! The aioli on the patatas? Perfection. The gambas de ajillo were super zesty, which I loved. The paella was perfection, too! I loved that it wasn't dry and just super flavorful. Dropped into Ibiza for happy hour and bar hopping. Nice decor and vibe. They had just opened for the day. Bartender was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The wine list is expensive...most bottles are $30+ with most being $50-60+. Only the spanish reds were under $40 a bottle and all glasses are at least $15+. The wine selection advertised isnt always available and that was after 3 different selections. We ordered the pulpo and potatoes. A good dish but wouldve preferred more seasoning on the octopus and charred a bit. However the pepperoni pizza was a HIT! It was extremely good. Drinks are expensive even during the afternoon. I rounded down - I would give this place a 3.5 stars. The 3.5 stars is for the garlic prawns and potato thing which I liked the sauces on top. The restaurant was nice and I enjoyed the music. The waiters weren't great. They didn't really check on my friend and I. I could have gotten my own water and they would have never known. The food was okay. Everything just tasted like garlic, I am not complaining because I love garlic but I wanted different flavors to entice my taste buds. I had a martini and a shirley temple. The shirley temple tasted a little flat or too much grenadine. Also, I ordered the flan because I have the biggest sweet tooth. Flan is my favorite, next to crème brûlée. This review is based on drinks alone. We walked in and saw there were daily deals on drinks, which was great. Friday is $5 sangria. There was a DJ and the inside was dark. Personally, the layout of the restaurant did not impress me. Our first server at the bar was a woman and she was a bit on the rude side. This is my favorite restaurant. The food is Spanish tapas. Try the beef cheek. Tapas consist of what we would call appetizers . My only complaint is that they have a Dj that comes in and plays loud music. One night, the music was popular music. It was OK but loud. The next time he came in and played rap, hip hop, and some Latin rap or hip hop. It was extremely loud . The place is not that large. It is a straight shotgun design. He is playing directly 10 feet into the bar. It ruins dining. I don't like DJs at all. They take real musicians' jobs. Any talentless hack can be a DJ. Ibiza opens at 5:00 PM and is open till 12:00AM. The service is excellent. But that DJ has to go. Or have him start at 9:00pPM. read more

So this review is only for the lounge/drinks portion of the restaurant. We went here recently to hang out and have some drinks, but no food so I can't comment on that. They did have a dj playing some music, but it was a little loud for the size of the place. But good music overall with a chill vibe. Service was a little slow, maybe short handed, but everyone was nice. One thing that we did not like is they only have One bathroom for both genders, so there was always a line for you to use it. Overall though the restaurant is clean, good vibe to just hang out. We will be back and hopefully try the food and maybe I can update my rating. We are arrived precisely at 5:00. The restaurant was locked but the owner soon opened the doors. We had anticipated great tapas and paella but frankly was a disappointed. The one tapa that we did enjoy was the mushroom croquets. The mixed paella was missing ingredients- no mussels, no calamari. The rice didn't have the usual tasty crispy bottom and the shrimp and octopus were not cooked in the rice but thrown on top. The chicken was flavorful but not particularly remarkable. My companion and I also felt that the prices were high for the tapas. $19 for shishito peppers was really steep. ( we didn't order them because of this).
