Across from the downtown Stockton cinema Inside was decorated beautifully with modern colors, a well-lit bar, and TVs that add to the atmosphere. The ambiance is welcoming and stylish, making it a great spot for a night out before or after a movie. Our waitress was very nice but not really attentive, the overall service felt slow for how quiet it was. Ordering and getting the check took longer than expected, even though the place wasn't busy. We randomly stopped in after dropping our daughter off at the theater across the street. A convenient choice for a pre-movie bite. Fries are great. The Fed burger is delicious and very large; I couldn't finish it. Calamari (husband's order): large portion, but he felt it wasn't the best. I don't typically care for calamari, so I can't judge that item fairly, but my burger was a standout. Beautiful ambiance, tasty food (especially the burger), friendly service. HAPPY Hour at the fed. Place was lively enough behind me. I sat at the bar. Christian was the bar attendant. I called him chris a few times. Service was great from Christian and his co workers. Food was unique. I dont recal the lsst time eating a steak that chardbroild. I didn't get the compound butter on the steak because they were out. Great sides to accompany the great portionsed rub eye. I got medium rare. It was cook just that. They did offer A1 steak sauce which help. Wish it was seasoned more and seared but thats not how it prepare here. Great grill markes btw. Excellent dinner options for the price. The mozzarella sticks were your basic, marinara was good. Good few chuck of tomato. The shrimp cocktail was another unique item. It was a grilled shrimp cocktail with iceberg lettuce as the base. Wish the sauce was a bit more horseradish foward. It was basically ketchup. Shrimp were cooked well and fairly larget size. Tasty nonetheless. All the beverages were great. Especially the dessert. I also got the western style burger and fries for the next day. Thick patty, brioche bun cheddar cheese , bacon, onion rings, bbq sauce. Great burger. Fries fresh would have been better. Happy hour is 3-6 with good deals on appetizers and drinks! Chicken wings, loaded fries and pretzels were all very good. Watermelon margarita and green tea shots were also good. I literally stumbled upon this place as I left my Tattoo appointment located down the street from this establishment. I saw that they had happy hour so I immediately had to come check them out! The decor is so eclectic. It is located very near the courthouse located in Stockton in downtown Stockton to be exact. When I entered, I was immediately greeted by Sylvia and another lady I did not catch her name. However, the customer service was beyond exceptional. It wasn't busy at the time that I came in. The happy hour menu is extremely generous for your budget and they do not skimp at all on the drinks nor the food offered. I will be back to this place. Walked in on a Friday night with the family, looking for a comfortable seat, a beer, and some burgers. After a couple minutes the host showed up and we were seated right away. They had a pretty nice beer list online behind a QR code, which was a bit of a pain to get to, but we did and ordered two canned beers. We ordered all of our food at the same time because it had taken quite a while to talk to the server (more than 5 mins). We then sat waiting for our drinks for a good 10 minutes, before she returned to say they were out of one of the beers. After another try and another fail, we finally just ordered off their draft list. The food also took ages, but was good when it arrived. Music was pretty loud--think thumping bass. Tip automatic on a 4 top? Wouldn't rush back, but not a terrible option in Stockton so long as you're super patient. read more

What I loved: I walked in early afternoon... The place was empty except for two ladies having lunch. Nice music was playing... and it was at a volume that would still allow conversation and thoughts to be had I was immediately greeted and seated. Then my drink order was taken within a few minutes. I had a question about the sandwich I was about to order and got a friendly answer. I had the ribeye steak sandwich which was seasoned and cooked to medium rare perfection. Could use work: took off the star because the tables were bare.. which means they have to bring you EVERYTHING you're going to need. I asked for ice tea. It was brought and waitress walked away, which means if I want sweetener I have to call after her to get it. I order fries... Ketchup wasn't offered so I had to ask. I also had to ask for a knife. This may not bother some people . But I came here to enjoy a meal and if they don't provide these things on the table, I'm used to the staff thinking ahead to ask about all of the accoutrements I might need so I don't have to ask. read more

First off Sylvia our server, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, relatable and a great person! We had dinner on a Saturday night and got sat right away, drinks came soon after. We started off with the Korean chicken wings, they were crispy and had the perfect amount of sauce 10/10. For entrees we got the Cajun shrimp pasta and ribeye both meals were delicious!! The ribeye was cooked perfectly as requested 10/10 for both! Dessert we chose brioche bread pudding with vanilla ice cream by far this has been the best dessert I've had at any restaurant. The restaurant as a whole was very clean, atmosphere was good, plenty of tables and bar area for sitting.Our whole experience was amazing I hope the restaurant continues to strive and give the great customer service we've been getting. Then the waitress said why the food was awful was because they were short handed and had their bar backs cooking. Chef no showed to work. I don't believe it. I don't recommend this place to anyone. FED is super cute and fun. If you're meeting with friends, family or on a date night this place will be right. I arrived in the day during brunch service on a Saturday. A friend and I sat literally for hours catching up! We both had burgers and those were both very good! Get the sweet potato fries! I came here for lunch and I gotta say, this restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere, I loved that they had Jazz music playing while we were eating lunch, I loved that the lights were dimmed, the bathrooms were very CLEAN, and everything else looked pretty clean inside which is very important to me when out dining. The waitress/hostess was very nice and gave us really good service. For lunch I had the Southwest Chicken salad, and two other people from my party had the FED burger. My salad was pretty good and the other two people at my table said that the burger was really juicy, flavorful, and tasted really good! The reason why I'm giving them two stars is because shortly after we left the two people that ordered the Fed burger got really sick. One of the people I was with, told me they started throwing up when they got home after our lunch and was sick for the rest of the day. Then the other person from my party had really bad diarrhea and a horrible stomachache after eating the same burger. We knew for a fact that it had to be the burger because I was the only one who didn't get sick after lunch because I chose the salad instead. All I can think is that the meat might've been old or not cooked all the way. Sadly because of this incident, I do have to warn others to take precautions when eating here just so that no one else gets sick. I wish the experience could've been better for the rest of my party like it was for me but I probably won't return in fear of getting sick from eating spoiled or uncooked meat. read more

Not a lot of customers in there.The place looks very nice as far as decor. I had to park in the parking garage next door which cost me $6 upon departure for a 2 1/2 hour stay. Parking is a pain in the downtown area which is to be expected. The bartender asked me what I wanted to drink and I asked for water while I wait on my company to arrive. She came back around again (being very attentive I assume) and asked me what I wanted to drink and I reminded her of what I previously said. My friend arrived and we went over the menu and ordered 2 drinks and an appetizer. The bartender came over again and asked me what I wanted to drink and food order. I had to remind her again of what I just ordered. Im not sure because I cannot account for what someone is thinking but it felt to me as if she wanted me to order a dinner plate. This place a nice little restaurant with a lot of "grammable" backdrops from the green faux grass, neon signs, cute cuties, and exposed brick wall- great for any photos! Service was great- we went in for lunch Christmas week so it wasn't very busy- like 4-5 tables around 1 pm. Menu at lunch is super limited, they have a salad, wrap, BLT chicken sandwich, spicy chicken sandwich, a burger, and I believe one more. The waitress was also the bartender and made us some delicious drinks that were presented very well, we got the blueberry lemon drop and an old fashioned. The chicken sandwich and chicken BLT is what we ordered for lunch- the BLT was delicious and as expected- the spicy chicken was not great- a lot of batter around the chicken- and it wasn't fully cooked because it was so thick. (Hence the -star) We also ordered the loaded nachos for appetizers but I didn't know they were loaded fries... so just a heads up if you don't want so many fries since the lunch comes with it Probably would want to try for dinner but it's right across the court house so it's def sketch and i dont know if I would come in the dark, maybe on a summer day when there's light out.
