In this day a to be able to go to a restaurant and have an entire experience that makes me want to return over and over again. It is at Woodbridge Crossing. Yesterday, my husband and I were both celebrating birthdays. I brought a bottle of wine for dinner and we decided that we would have a couple of cocktails at the bar before we were seated. Casey, the bartender has always been incredible, great conversationalist, mixologist and he creates the perfect "Cheers" style atmosphere. The restaurant is always great about accommodating a special request. I had requested a thicker cut steak for my dinner about a week before our reservation and it was prepared perfectly! Honestly, the best steak I have had in over a year. My husband had escargot as an appetizer and I had the prawn cocktail. Both were excellent as were the salads and of course the entrees were fantastic. My husband had the King Salmon, perfectly cooked and seasoned very well. We also splurged for dessert and were not disappointed! The server, Casey's wife was so attentive, kind and a true hospitality professional. It was also great seeing Steve Ding, the owner again, he is always welcoming and genuinely dedicated to making your experience a memorable one. If you're going to be doing the full dinner experience like we did, with cocktails before or during dinner, appetizers, salad, entrées, and dessert, it will be a fine dining experience. DO NOT sleep on this restaurant. The only service you will be doing is a disservice to yourself if you don't go. We would love to go more often, but we are a bit too far away to frequent as often as we would like. They have a great Happy Hour and lunch specials as well! So go hungry and leave happy! read more

What's better than a Saturday morning brunch? A Saturday morning brunch at Woodbridge Crossing. Today was their first day launching brunch, and they absolutely did not miss a beat. Brunch is served from 10 AM to 2 PM, and the new menu looks fantastic. There are plenty of great food options along with a fun "morning-after party" beverage lineup. Think brunch cocktails, shots, and a spirit-loaded Bloody Mary that definitely wakes you up. The vibe was lively, the service was on point, and you can tell the team was excited to kick off brunch service. I'm already looking forward to going back to try more of the morning-after party libations on the menu. Had dinner here tonight to celebrate my dad's birthday. This is the only restaurant in our area that serves escargo and it was delicious! Our reservation was for 4:30 and we were seated right away and the service was really good and friendly. The restaurant looks like it's out of an old western movie and I love it! I ordered a New York steak medium rare topped with mushrooms and shoestring onions. Broccoli, carrots and garlic mash also came on the side. Brunch on Sunday, only one wait staff for the whole place and she did a good job. Forgot one side order which was fine. I ordered avacado toast and asked to add tomatoe, waitress advised the chef refused. We were in Lodi for a wine tasting birthday weekend earlier this month and chose Woodbridge Crossing for dinner our first night based on the menu alone. Our experience left a lot to be desired, though. After being seated, we sat at our table for 20-25 minutes without so much as a hello. Servers were actively checking on tables around us (literally right next to us) but we seemed completely invisible. It was bizarre. I was about ready to walk out when someone finally realized we'd been seated in her section. We decided to stick it out, but I honestly wish we hadn't. I ordered the New York steak cooked medium, and it arrived significantly undercooked... nearly rare in the center. While some people love a rare steak, that's not what I ordered or what I like to eat. My fiancé and I ended up swapping dinners, so I had meatloaf instead. To their credit, our server brought a complimentary dessert to make up for the evening. The gesture was kind, and unrelated to my birthday since we hadn't mentioned anything... but we hadn't planned on dessert and it felt like an assumption that didn't quite land. I went to celebrate my birthday yesterday and I mentioned it on the reservation. Was slightly disappointed it was not acknowledged. When I go to a resteraunt it's all in the details the small things. The restaurant itself smelled a little musty I don't know if it was the carpet. The seats made me feel like I was in a high chair. The star of the show was the clam chowder I would definitely go out of my way for that. It was perfect. I had the filet mignon with a baked potato but they gave me mash potatoes. This USED to be are "go to place", Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthdays and anniversaries. Today went for Father's Day brunch, rez for 1:15pm. Sadly the menu was limited to about 8 items. My fault for not looking, but when I asked waitress why no Father's Day menu, response: father's aren't as important as Mothers! WHAT?? Ordered the prime rib(only red meet choice, no seafood) came with no veggies, only scrambled eggs and fries( had to ask for those). Asked for MED RARE, got MED.. thought, no biggie, can do medium, cause it will be tender and juicy,but was so tough/dry I couldn't eat it. $44 for the prime rib. Husband got Eggs Benedict, which was 5/10. He really wanted some seafood,(on his day) but was cool with it. Place is usually busy but maybe 15-20 in the restaurant today and server came by ONCE to see how things were, right after being served, then nothing. Never refilled water, or asked if we needed anything else and there were several servers so it was not like they were slammed. Felt like we got the "left overs" as they were closing at 2ish to get ready for the dinner hours. Left over a 25% tip for those who are wondering, $105 for "BREAKFAST MENU" not worth it. Definitely NOT the place it used to be. Won't be back. Afterwords we Stopped across the street to Woodbridge INN after, (not the crossing) and they had a full menu, seafood/beef/appetizer's/salad and soup. Gonna try them next! read more

Came here with my husband for a Friday night date. There was a decent crowd at the bar, but we were able to get a table fairly quickly. Service was great, very attentive and friendly. I ordered the halibut, which came with a side salad, garlic mashed potatoes, and vegetables. My husband ordered the fish and chips. My halibut was fantastic; garlic potatoes were average, and my carrots could have been cooked a little longer. I really enjoyed the side salad, that as topped with chickpeas, cucumber, and croutons. The fish and chips were cooked perfectly; crunchy and crispy without being too oily. This is definitely a restaurant we plan to frequent more often because the service and food made for an enjoyable experience. read more

We were staying at the Lodi Elks RV Park and were looking for a good place to eat. The bar tender highly recommended Woodbridge Crossing. We had immediate service when we walked in and sat at the bar. Our server, Sadie was so friendly. We ordered a Rib Eye to share and it was delicious. The veggies and baked potato were perfect. We originally looked at the 28oz Porterhouse and decided that was too big for us and it was $98. We also met the other bartender, Casey, who was also very friendly and chatted with us about the bar. The bar was decorated in "old Western" and worked perfect for this building. We had a great evening here and will definitely go back whenever we are in this area again. We've visited this spot a few times but just now getting around to writing a review. So the food, at least on St Patrick's Day was very good!! The other times we've visited, we only had drinks which are very good. We visited this past Sunday to find live music and I wish I remember the gent's name but he did a great job entertaining the crowd. He took song requests and played everything we asked him and he did an awesome job. We will be visiting Sundays since he's there on that day and next time we will have dinner again. read more

First time to this restaurant. I love the structure of the building and just looking at the architecture which is an earlier time period era. Stunning. We had the Prime Rib Au Jus sandwich with fries. It was excellent and they gave us plenty to eat. Our server was Tara. She did everything flawlessly. It started when I asked at the bar, the price difference between two gins. I ordered what I thought was a $10 martini. I was surprised to be billed $16 for a single, with an explanation that there's a $5 upcharge for martini versus G&T. $16 for a SINGLE Martini vs $10 for a single G&T? The bartender apologized that she should have explained, but the bill remained the same. For dinner, we were handed a menu with all entrees priced at $75. We ordered calamari as an appetizer for $20 more and it never arrived. I ordered the salmon which was watery and tasteless and my husband had the rib eye which was overcooked and chewy. Although it was a small steak, he couldn't finish it as it was so bad. The bread and garlic fries were good, which tells me they employ a cook, not a chef. So, almost $100 per person for tiny tasteless food with sub par service was the way we ended our Year. To top it off, we observed the owner/manager? walking around to all the tables but ours, which was weird. Sunday brunch? Yes, please! We had a wonderful albeit crowded brunch this past Sunday. What I figured would be a quiet weekend post thanksgiving turned out to be a big one. We walked in behind a group of 40 bikers. Thank goodness for reservations and of course, Steve. We got lost in the crowd for a few minutes and they were a tad understaffed but it all worked out. We relaxed with our mimosas and nibbled on the biscuits and gravy and blueberry muffins while waiting to place our order. Nothing to write home about there but it was a nice touch and staved off the hangries! Luckily we were in the back away from the maddening crowd. The entrees were fantastic. I opted for the prime rib to counteract all the ham and turkey from the past few days. Hubby had the Denver omelet. The meat was incredibly well seasoned and just hit the spot. The highlight of the meal was the busser. A genuinely polite person who went out of his way to make sure everyone had what they needed in the entire back section. Steve is not only a great guy but he has a great restaurant. I love the vibe here. It's in a historic building. It's like you're back in time during the early 1900s inside the restaurant. It's clean inside, which is always a plus for me. There's plenty of street parking and they also have a parking lot. The service is always great. We had our Christmas party here for our organization. The servers were very nice and helpful then as well. Their food is very good. The last time I went I ordered their Fish and Chips and that was yummy. I will have to go back and order it again. If you're wine tasting in Lodi/Acampo, you'll have to stop by here for a late lunch. They open at 3pm unless of course, you decide to go on a Sunday. I believe they're open for brunch at 10am but they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. They are known to have live entertainment on the weekends, which we will have to experience. Upon entering seemed dark but a greeting from a gentleman was pleasant. Quickly was seated with a reservation made on Open table came around 5 and it wasn't packed at all. But shortly after it got a little busier. At first my water glass had lipstick but they apologized and changed it right away. Somehow another couple sat down but seemed to get service before us. Our waitress finally came by but proceeded to apologize they didn't take our order. Our waitress 5 stars for her customer service and attentiveness thereafter. She refilled our Drinks Checked on us a couple of times and let us enjoy our food and even offered to not charge us to split the food fee since my husband and I were not super hungry we decided to get the PRIME rib since it's one of their signature dishes. I got it medium rare and boy was it tender the aus ju was perfect along with the creamy horseradish. A must try! Our appetizers were also delicious hot and fresh was the zucchini sticks and I love me some potato skins (loaded with cheese bacon sour cream and green onions) Drinks my husband got a cucumber martini looked like there was fresh cucumber pulp while I opted for a glass of oak farm tievoli red blend great paring with my prime rib. The complimentary bread was warm but just ok for me I didn't care too much for the rosemary flavor but it did taste like focaccia bread. All in all great food I would come back. read more

Ok I have heard of this place and we did try the feed and fuel in Lodi when they split up and loved that place so we said we need to try this one so we finally did. Service was really good!! Ambiance was really nice love the decor in this place!!! Food was great! We tried loaded potato skins, clam chowder soup and my wife had the salad!! Yummy!!! Then we both had the rib eye with loaded baked potato and veggies!! Mine with mushrooms Omg!! Very good!!! No matter where you are if you can come here you need to check this out!!! I have to say it it alil pricey but you get what you pay for!! You won't be disappointed!! I guarantee it!!! We will be back to try that prime rib and escargot next!!!
