We stopped in for a friend lunch with three of us. The parking lot was FULL, like we had to do some laps and eventually parked on the street, which is not ideal since traffic kind of zooms by here. The inside is much bigger than you'd expect and considering how packed the parking lot was, there was plenty of space for more guests inside. We sat in the covered outdoor area in the back and were helped by their friendly team right away. We got some sodas and horchata to start- the horchata was delicious. They bright chips and salsa with the drinks and then we placed our food orders. I ended up getting a torta, which came with fries and it was much bigger than I expected. The flavors were great, and they use fresh Genova bread. Our food mostly came out at the same time, but we had ordered a side of gravy and fresh tortillas that ended up coming a bit later. By the time these came I was full from half my torta and ended up getting a box. We all really enjoyed our food though. The team here checked on us often and were friendly. They also let us hang out and talk for awhile, even after our check was paid. There were plenty of other tables still available, so we took our time while we caught up. Definitely would come back again.

    2 oz cup

I ordered a side of guacamole for $5.38 and I got a 2 oz cup. I went back in and they told me that was correct. I told them that this can't possibly be right and they said, "it's one scoop." No wonder they don't indicate the size on the menu. After politely arguing my point they did give me another 2 oz cup - it's printed on the bottom of the cup, "2 oz." So disappointing and yet their food is good. I'm still offended.

okay let's get right into it. cheese gravy was good. i get cheese gravy at every mexican spot that has it and this among the better ones. the salsa was mid. no spice to it and not super flavorful. the alambre was really really good. packed with flavor and perfect balance of ingredients. the beans and rice remind me of tio pepe which i love. super nostalgic. good flavor and rich without being too rich. th chilaquiles had too much cheese for me and not enough sauce. not the worst but not the best. they put tomatoes on the chilaquiles which gives them a bit of sweetness that i wasn't a fan of. my mom also got the chilaquiles but with scrambled eggs and hers weren't nearly as cheesy. may not have even had any, but she liked them nonetheless. two others got chicken tacos and we also got flautas. they all enjoyed their dishes. my dad is picky about his chicken tacos and was surprised when he actually enjoyed these. a little bit of lettuce overload on the plate though. the person who got flautas also really liked his dish too. the homemade tortillas were good too. we got chicken tenders for the baby and they were so overcooked. the outside was super crispy she couldn't even eat them. the inside was super dry. not good. the fries were plain and not even really warm when they were brought out. also go a big mamacita margarita for $26 and it was so watered down. it was so big that you should have at least felt a buzz from it if not more. felt absolutely nothing. the alambre honestly was so good that it's bringing the score up slightly. the staff was friendly and attentive. food took a while to come out, but i don't mind that if it means my food is being made fresh. after 20% tip, the meal wasn't just under $200 for 6 adults and a child. i feel like that's not a bad price point.

The food here is pretty good. I love the wet burrito supreme with chile Colorado & whole beans. The gravy on top is so good!!! I also like the crispy beef tacos and the Chile verde and Colorado are quite tasty. They also have good soups like menudo and pozole.

OMG where do I begin? I have never been here and the food is absolutely amazing. The margaritas are just as good. Get a tall and you will feel it all night long. This is our New Mexican restaurant for sure. Our server Jr. was so friendly and knowledgeable as well. Ask to sit in his section and you will have a great experience.

Been here twice in the last month and both times service was great and food was delicious. Ambiance is very laid back. Price was expensive for the area but the amount of food you get as well as quality is well worth the price. Each time I have gone, I got a combo plate and it comes with enough food for three meals. They do not skimp out on the meat. Only disappointment is the first time we went, when they gave us tortillas, half of it was homemade and the other half was store bought. The second time we went it was all store bought. When we asked for homemade they said they ran out which was weird to me because don't they make the tortillas in house? We tried all the different combinations and all of them were tasty. If I am ever in the area, definitely my go to Mexican restaurant!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon and was able to find a table for three right away even though it was pretty busy. Got lucky. Ordered the bean dip to go with the chips and salsa and it was so good. Nice and cheesy and salty. We all ordered Luis' Favorites and it was so much food and so flavorful! It came with a taco, enchilada, Chile relleno, and steak ranchero with rice and beans. Ended up taking half home for later. We also asked for some fresh tortillas on the side and they were so soft and fluffy. Would come back to try the same thing again. My cousin got a paloma and it was huge! It came out to $94 before tip.

There is a parking lot at the back of the restaurant which is where this bar is located. It's a close-knit bar, but it does get a decent amount of people inside! The drinks are delicious. I highly recommend Jalapeño Business (mezcal or tequila, cucumber, jalapeño, agave, fresh squeezed lime). SO refreshing with a chamoy tajin rim. I also enjoyed The Nightcap (vodka, bailey's, cold brew, coffee liqueur). The bartender was very friendly and made the drinks quickly! You can also order food (since it's connected to a restaurant), and we ordered gyoza and shrimp tempura which came out piping hot and were both delicious. Definitely stop by if you're looking for a chill bar to get a drink, it is a small space so just be aware your conversations can easily be heard by others. Not a problem if you're friendly though!

Very disappointing experience when we came for a friend's birthday. Looking at the pics this place appears to be a very cute speakeasy and when you enter you find that to be true. They have a few cocktails that are pretty creative like my favorite, their clarified fruity pebbles cocktail. We all got cocktails and only about 1/2 of the drinks were really appreciated. Anyway, what held them back here was definitely the food. I'll start off by saying that yes we had a light dinner of sushi prior to making our way over. So keeping that in mind, we still had the idea of getting some small bites. We didn't want to over commit so we started with what I believe was the Grilled Peach Burrata. Now if we are going purely off flavors, it wasn't bad and it was a cute pairing of ingredients for what sounded like a great bite. On first bite we found this to be a horrendous dish. At first we thought, there's no way the bread was really THAT stale and hard. We thought there's no way that it could be every single piece that was that inedible. We were sorely mistaken. When I tell you that little crostini was hard and stale I'm telling you this thing was so terribly stale that we immediately thought of how disappointed we were in coming here and that we would NEVER consider coming back again. As for the service we remember it being a tad underwhelming as well but not terrible. The only thing that in my mind keeps me from rating them a 1, and I don't do that almost ever, is that my cocktail was just my style. I'm an old fashioned kind of guy but I also love the cute, creative and sweet cocktails as well. This fruity pebbles cocktail also came topped with sort of a Rice Krispie style fruity pebbles treat that I absolutely loved. After ordering a 2nd one however I found that they are not very consistent with their drink preparations as the 2nd one just wasn't as good. The ratio of whatever they put in there just seemed off. I'll finish off by saying that I so desperately wanted this place to be good. Was it an off night? Is this just their level of execution? Who is to say. Maybe one day I'll feel inclined to give them another chance but who knows. I have also heard that they did a lot of revamping so maybe things are looking up now.
