Absolutely ridiculous. Look at what my first experience looked like and how FULL AND CUTE my eyebrows were. MY ENTIRE eyebrow end is GONE?!! I asked for a clean up. Keep thick and full and said this multiple times before and even during the service twice and she gives me the mirror after she's done and I'm horrified. I was like okay so I need a discount or free charge and she was like okay you have to come back Feb 6 and ask the manager and I was like 0% of that makes sense. Who said that day works for me, how would the manager know if she wasn't informed by u guys....and why would I need my eyebrows done aGAIN now that I have to wait MONTHS to get these suckers to grow back in again like literally do not trust these people. Just moved to the area and had a great first experience here! Comparative to Daly City/SF where threading is $18+, IBrow is $15 for just eyebrows. I think they have a 3% fee if paying by card like most small businesses. I got lucky with walking in on a Saturday but the waiting area seats quickly filled up during my service. This was the best/most painless experience I've had in a while and I really appreciated that they were patient when I asked for small corrections afterwards. They ask if you'd like aloe vera and they also do a tiny light massage on the brows afterwards. Highly recommend! They'll ask if you want a punch card and the 6th (or 7th) visit will be free :) read more

I always have a great experience here. The team is professional and friendly, and the atmosphere is really comfortable. I usually go to Alina, but honestly, everyone there does a great job. I tend to get a little nervous about my eyebrows since they're already pretty thin, but they always shape them exactly how I like. They manage to keep them looking natural while actually making them look fuller and more defined, which I really appreciate. Love this place! Always so fast and professional. They are really nice. I first went here when I was VERY pregnant and requested a full face threading. It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would and I think it's because Kalpana was making good conversation with me which made me feel SO comfortable and relaxed. I went back today and same experience! Homegirl got ALL the right hairs that other places usually don't get and paid attention to spots that other places don't usually pay attention to. She did it in less than 10 minutes and puts on a nice cooling moisturizer after. The two ladies that work there are really nice and they are meticulous and care about the way they thread. My go to place! I have sensitive skin that cuts easily so I always start with wax and do the rest via thread for any facial hair I want removed and it's usually always gotten. The only time I have had a bad experience is going straight for threading and leaving with cuts on my face but now I always do wax first. Everyone's skin is different so be sure to do what works for you and Kalpana and her team will accomodate it. You can book an appt via text and with an appt, you won't need to wait long and appt times are honored. You can always walk-in but note that those who prebooked appts will be honored and you will be fit in between them. I've also been happy with the shape of my eyebrows. Not too much is removed. I always mention that I want a clean up and just shaping and it works great. Prices are also reasonable. You can pay with any payment method from Google Pay to Apple Pay to credit card to cash. You can get here via public transit or for those who drive, there is metered parking right next to it, but for free parking, go out back and find a spot in the residential streets. I went today and had the most horrible experience. I went around 12 and sat with a younger employee. First I came for a clean up and she was saying I had SO much hair. Which is rude. Then she goes on to say that she can't give me my desired shape when I have come here for years and they've given me my exact desired shape. Refused to listen on my concerns for my eyebrows and just made them look uneven. EVEN WORSE, while my mom paid they forcefully made her tip by the taking the iPad and just automatically pressing 20% tip when I didn't even want to tip for this horrible job. read more

This is my go to threading and waxing place. I usually walk in and don't have wait longer than 10 minutes. If I'm doing both waxing and threading, then I'd call for an appointment. I can usually make a same day appointment. They offer a stamp card for threading, I believe after 7 visits, you can get one free. Staff is friendly and they have great prices. Parking can be difficult as it's only street parking. There are metered paid parking and residential free parking. I recommend this place for waxing and threading. read more

I walked in without an appointment and that was not a problem. The younger lady who threaded my eyebrows did an okay-ish job initially. Although I wasn't too crazy about how my brows turned out. Then my skin was red for the next few days and developed a rash near the upper right eyebrow. She gave me a stamp card for future visits but unfortunately I won't be returning. Since I've been coming here for many years, and the place that I formerly went to get facials is closed down, I've been considering getting a facial from Kalpana. Kalpana wasn't there the day I went to book an appt with her. Her staff member that was there told me to text her to make an appt. She responded quickly and I was able to book for the following day. There are two beds located upstairs for facials/waxing. The room is not fully enclosed and you could hear the music that is playing downstairs and a bit of conversation from clients. Just putting it out there if anyone wants a completed closed room where you can easily fall asleep during your facial. It didn't mind me too much. I received a deep pore cleansing facial which was one hour long. It's been a while since I've gotten a facial but everything about it was familiar. She told me what she was doing as we progressed through the facial. I did not expect an arm/hand massage (I thought just shoulder and back of neck), so I was a bit surprised! Overall, I am happy with Kalpana's work and will be returning the next time I want to treat myself to a facial. read more

Very quick eyebrow threading service with Kalpana. It was painless and took about 5min to thread and trim my brows. I usually go to eyebrow queen on international Blvd, but they cut the top of my eyelid last time. So I decided to try IBrow & beauty and it didn't not disappoint. Price is slightly more than Eyebrow Queen but it's worth it for quality of the work. There are plenty of meter street parking right outside of the salon. I am a regular customer here for their threading services and so far I have had good positive experiences. The Staff sanitize their hand prior to threading so which is a good thing. As for the waxing services, it's very easy to book an appointment via text. I do feel for the waxing services, it's a bit rush and they don't really take the time. Sometimes I leave the Salon with some wax still on my legs and I notice the last session, my knees were missed and some spots still had hair. I have done waxing here a few times already and I had better results at other places. Overall, this is a good place for threading. The waxing prices are very reasonable however, I think they should spend a bit more time on the wax sessions. read more

Nice brow bar off Webster in Alameda. Parking is not good but that's not the businesses fault. I always make appointment so I can get in and out, they do a excellent job with that. But I do question sanitation in the midst of Covid "are they cleaning the tweezers & scissors after every use" ? I am not confident that they do. read more

The owner radiates kindness. Her facials are deeply relaxing and my skin looked terrific after my facial. She uses Dermatologica products. Pre-heating the room would make it even nicer. Waxing here is straightforward but some hair was just broken off and not removed by the roots so it ends up being no better than shaving. Kalpana is amazing!!! I came on a Saturday and made a same day appointment she was able to see me at 5pm. When I came in she was still with another client but I did not mind waiting my brows were in need of threading and tinting. I always hesitate going to these type of brow places because I feel like the ones I've gone to before either have threaded my eyebrows too thin or did not follow what I wanted and my brows were uneven. When Kalpana was done with her client she started my threading. She was so nice, asked me what I wanted and she listened. She did say my right eye brow needed more hair growth and gave me some recommendations to promote hair growth which I appreciated so much. I also asked for a tint which she did not mind doing. I wasn't aware her shop closes at 6pm and I told her I did not mind waiting since I know the longer you keep the tint on the better. Whether you know exactly what you want or just want them cleaned up, they will listen to and take care of you. Some people say they only ask for Kalpana; she is the owner and superior. BUT. If you just communicate what you'd like, you will run into no harm here (no pain, no messed up eyebrows). They always do a little extra at the end: the aloe vera massage, the extra trimming... The aloe vera massage makes me so curious to try their facials by how RELAXING that one minute is. They also have a loyalty card: 6 eyebrow threads and the 7th is free! Even though they have such a loyal and robust customer base, when I walk in once a month, they always remember me, my usual, and we chat it up a bit.
