I was amazed by Tongtong's honesty, transparency, and experience, whereas a few other artists just recommended me the most expensive service rather than the most suitable one. Tongtong spent more than TWO HOURS on the nano blading eyebrows. She is one of the few and most detail-focused experts I have ever met: many times I was like "this part looks good/shall we move forward?" She was like "No this is not good enough. Please let me adjust it."----a note: nano blading eyebrows require the artist to design the eyebrow hairs ONE BY ONE. My eyebrows turned out to be so natural and amazing! Everyone, including my colleagues and even my dentist, first thought was they were natural, and second thought was "what is the artist's contact information?" Tongtong offered FREE touch up within 3 months, versus many other studios would charge $50-$100 after the first appointment. My eyebrows maintained the shape and color very well, but Tongtong still insisted and gave me a very detailing touch up. There used to be another 5-star review here that guided me to schedule my appointment but apparently it got removed by Yelp? :-( Hopefully mine stays put :-) The outcome I wanted was a natural looking set of eyebrows but a lot of shops make them either too dark, orange-y, or overly shaped. So I appreciate all the photos that Tong provided on Yelp to validate her consistency and incredible work. It's exactly what I wanted! Tong has been doing eyebrows and other cosmetic services for 6 years but is pretty new to Yelp (she uses other apps like Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book or the Chinese version of Instagram). I reached out to her via Instagram as she doesn't yet have a website. She doesn't use IG often so we had back and forths for about 2 weeks before we finally got something scheduled. I also had a lot of questions and she helped answer everything before we got to scheduling. The procedure took a little over 2.5 hours and I appreciated how detailed Tong was. She first outlined what the shape would look like and got my approval before starting the actual process. The numbing cream was clutch; I didn't feel any pain! Afterwards, she texted me instructions on what to avoid doing over the next 7-28 days, and also sent me home with some saline wipes for the next two hours after as well as instructions for the next two days (simple steps to wipe the brows and retain the pigment). She rents a room inside the nail salon so just head into Sassy Nail Spa. It's located in a big outdoor shopping plaza so lots of parking (and food options). I'll post photos when it's all set and gravy. I'm really happy with how they turned out. Thank you so much, Tong! HIGHLY recommend. However, after the initial procedure, once the scabbing came off, most of the eyeliner faded as well. During the touch-up appointment, I made it very clear that the eyeliner was too light and too thin, and I specifically requested a darker and more visible result. Unfortunately, after the touch-up healed, the same thing happened again -- once the scabbing came off, the eyeliner faded significantly and is now barely visible. I reached out regarding the issue, but I was told it would not be corrected unless I paid for another session. While the experience was pleasant, I am disappointed with the final results and the lack of resolution after clearly communicating my concerns during the touch-up process.

She's gonna tell her customers that "everyone heals differently," and that's only true to an extent. I went to a different artist and the ink took in fine. It also healed in 9 DAYS, not 3 months. Brows usually take anywhere between 2-3 hours. Feena spent over 6 hours on me. I didn't mind at first because I didn't know better and thought it was normal. She kept saying my skin was thick and wouldn't take ink, which was untrue because I went to another brow artist and I was fine. She left me to go home with no numbing cream. I was burning all night. My scabs healed thick and when they fell off, my skin was left raw and red. The whole time she talked crap about other artists. When I sent her updated photos, she asked if I peeled them instead of assessing what was really wrong. Shortly after, she removed my photos off of Instagram. That to me was one red flag. When I sent her my final photos of how red and raw the brows were, she didn't offer any solution or refund. My brows took over a month to heal, and they healed scarred red. It took over 3 months for the scars to become less red. When I had finally gotten my brows fixed with another artist, Feena found her page and personally commented on the photo saying that I was her customer and that I agreed to come back in a year (yeah I changed my mind), and that the artist could go ahead and "trace" her work, which was ridiculous and unprofessional.

My eyebrows are really the only thing I occasionally put makeup on and I was interested in microblading to simplify my morning routine. An accident from years ago left me with a scar which kept hair from growing in half of my left eyebrow. Though I hadn't researched much beforehand (except to see her 5-star reviews and know I was in a good place), I felt immediately trusting of Tiffany's vision. She applied a first bit of topical numbing cream and I signed some paperwork. Then I relaxed as she drew an outline (which I confirmed), we chose the color pigment, she did the first round of incisions, applied the numbing cream (which needs to have cuts to go in in order to work), and then she got to work filling in the rest of my brows. I didn't mind the sensation, and the entire time Tiffany and I were excitedly chatting about all sorts of things ranging from travels, to dreams, to philosophy and "living our best life"! Tiffany was very attentive to creating a comfortable and nourishing space. I was impressed by her ability to concentrate as we were having such a good time! By the end of the procedure, I was a little nervous as I was bleeding a bit more than most people (I think maybe due to anemia but some people just bleed more than others apparently). Bleeding more means the pigment is less likely to stick, but Tiffany was sure to patiently clot it with a tissue and reapply more pigment after so it would stay. Thankfully, when she showed me the mirror I was giddily relieved as it looked AMaZiNG!! I am thoroughly impressed with the work she did. My brows looks thicker, fuller, darker (ahem- like they exist 100%!) and I feel more radiant than ever! I went for a long walk after just to show my babies off!! ‍ I feel more confident and very satisfied with my decision. Tiffany was so sweet, professional, wise, and intuitively able to connect with me on a deeper level personally and in regards to giving me exactly what I wanted (without much input from me).
