Brenda Burns ruined my hair. As a PR professional, I don't use hyperbole, but in this case, it's appropriate. I came into the salon with long, sun-kissed blonde hair and left with short, uneven, splotchy and stripey orange and purple hair. Brenda did reimburse me for the haircut because it was a rushed job that she did in five minutes after my color, but she refused to do the same for the color mishap. Her offer to fix the color didn't make sense to me. First, it's not fixable. Second, I won't let her touch my hair again. See the photos for yourself. Not quite the sun-kissed baby lights that she promotes. She's colored my hair many times, every time I've either had to come back for her to fix minor errors, or I had my professional colorist in LA methodically fix Brenda's mess. UPDATE! (4/21/26) It took master colorist Johnny Ramirez EIGHT HOURS to fix my hair color, and master stylist Marilee Albin fixed my haircut. Turns out it was much worse than I thought - all kinds of chunky diagonal highlight lines underneath, all orange. $1700 later, I finally learned my lesson to NEVER return to Brenda Burns, no matter how inconvenient it is to go to LA for good hair. read more

I recently switched to Alayna since my normal stylist was on maternity leave and I honestly loved every moment of being in Alayna's chair. From the conversation to the AMAZING head/scalp massage she gave, i cannot recommend her enough. And my hair came out exactly like I wanted. Brenda is a true artist with hair. She has done beautiful highlight work for me multiple times and is a real pleasure to be around.

I have had a different experience at this salon with the stylist, Brenda that might help others. I am older and have developed an intolerance to hair coloring. I can use only toner at this point. I had sent a text to Brenda with the color formula I used when I saw a different stylist at this salon before she quit the profession. I asked if she could use this color formula on my hair and she said yes. However, when I got to the salon, she said she'd use a different color formulation she found in my file. This was confusing as I had the latest formulation, but she insisted she had the correct formulation. Other than being much darker than I had wanted, the worse part was she left the formulation on my hair for too long. I had mentioned my head felt itchy, and she said, "that means it's working." That's not what it meant at all. I paid over 250 and was left with an itchy scalp for two months. I will not go back. There are other stylists to support. In my experience, she is not a good listener. Additionally, the owner would not take any responsibility. She said the stylists are independent contractors who just rent a booth. That might be the case, but as an owner, one would want happy customers who keep coming back and give referrals. Based on my experience, I will not go back. read more

In love with my new hair! In a 7 hour session, Auriyana was able to tranform my outgrown quarantine hair to a beautiful rose gold color! I contacted Auriyana through Instagram and she responded within 48 hours. She can be really busy, so be sure to have a date in mind when booking an appointment! She also requires a $50 deposit for the color in advance when booking. Her starting price was $450 for the color I had done. Auri made sure to make me feel as comfortable as possible. She was constantly checking on me through the whole process. Very kind and easy to talk to! She's installed 24' hair extensions for me right before my wedding and did an amazing job. We've also done vivids, color correction, balayage, glazes, treatments and custom color.
