Was not too impress & disappointed, first mostly outside seating but chose to sit inside but we're flies over the table seating & dirty tables. I requested if it can be clean but the guy was surprise that I was asking him to please clean it for me but he gave the impression for me to do it. #135 for 2021 After a couple restaurants for dinner it was time for dessert. Ramsay was out of shakes. Sugar Factory was crowded and too noisy. Walking into ICafe de Paris was a relief. Fresh cool air. We had our masks on. I was wearing two. I couldn't take my eyes off the pretty, humungous chandelier hanging in the middle of the room. The menu board hung behind the counter offering coffees, teas, smoothies, lattes, ice cream and crepes. There are some food options too. Breakfast items like omelets. Dinner has pizza. Several dessert options and a few sandwiches too. Mog P. ordered the hazel walnut ice cream which she liked very much. That was handed to her over the counter. I ordered the strawberry banana crepe. This took a long time to bring over to our table. It was worth the wait too. I'm not a fan of crepes but this was really good. The crepe was not too thin which I don't like. The fruits were fresh and the added honey was icing on the cake. I gobbled the whole thing up. The best place to sit is outside in the patio area, You get to see the people playing in the park. Awlful place to go... super expensive $16.95 got a single plain omelet. The manager was absolutely not interested in helping anyone. They had a door open in a chilly morning we closed it because things were blowing around on our table. Then none of the food came out together and was mildly average. When we arrived, there was no line. They have indoor seating and outdoor seating. But everyone ate outdoor. It was such a beautiful day to stay outdoors. Upon arrival: Pros: 1) place is very cute. 2) lots to choose from. They had macroons, Gelato ice cream, crepes, Lily's coffee, etc to pick from. 3) 3 young staff on board working. Not much of talkers. But they were busy working away getting the job done. 4) Got our orders pretty quick. 5) place is clean. 6) decor was cute 7) outside tables had cute little eiffel towers holding it up. 8) place has a cute little river next to it. 9) you can see the young girl make the crepe right in front of you. My little one was memorized watching how cool it was to make it. Cons: 1) I learn they do not give cups of water out. You have to buy their bottled water. Bottle water is $2.00 each. 2) the fruit crepe I got wasn't what I expected. First time I've seen apples in my fruit crepes. Different. In other fruit crepes I've ever gotten, I normally see blue berries, raspberries, Blackberries, strawberries, banana in it. So this crepe style here was new to me. Wish they told me. I want to give this place a one or a two stars because the price was ridiculous! I'm from San Francisco where everything is expensive and in SF you can get the same thing for like half the price. The food was good but not GREAT! For $20, This crepe should've been like twice the size, have a real salad, and not be on a freaking paper plate. Really? You can't afford a a nice $20 plate? The first crepe that sells already pays for one plate. Why did I give this a three and not a 2? I liked the guy who served me. Nice guy. I don't remember his name but he's Turkish. With these prices if he and everyone that works there is making less than $25 an hour, this place is really screwing over its employees. Super great place if you like coffee and crepes! My friend and I each got a crepe and she ordered a mocha. She said the mocha was much better than Starbucks, and the quality of the coffee was very good. I ordered the French simple crepe with ham. There was so much egg and ham - it was basically an omelette inside of a crepe, but very good! My friend got a desert crepe which so also really enjoyed. Unfortunately, they brought our food out at very different times, and I was halfway done eating mine when my friend got hers, but I can't complain since we weren't on the same order. The outside seating was nice, but with the popularity of this place, it gets very busy. We had a line form right next to our table so it wasn't the ideal dining experience. This is the reason we ended up at ICON park last week. We tried one savory and one sweet crepe and added Napoleon to our order, it looked promising. Just three items but the check showed how expensive these food items are. The flavor taste and presentation does not really justify the price. It's not bad but we had way better tasting crepes back here in San Antonio at way much cheaper prices. Imagine for the price we paid, the crepes are served on paper plates and we had to use plastic knives and forks. I guess the place is expensive so they had to charge higher price for the food they are selling. Honestly it's not worth to pay another visit here for the food. It filled us up but we're not really satisfied. It's missing flavor and the presentation just looks tacky. Great way to start Saturday is to enjoy some deliciousness at Icafe De Paris. The cafe was clean and all the staff had on masks, which is very important considering how many people they cone in contact with. My favorite daughter ordered the double Nutella crepe with whip cream on the side. The crepe which I tested was thin like it's supposed to be but deliciously filled with warm Nutella. The lightness of the whip cream helped due to the richness of the Nutella, that and water. I got the affogato which is espresso with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whip cream. It was everything you think it would be. Rich espresso taste with refreshing cool ice cream. I will definitely come and visit again. read more

I honestly didn't even eat or drink here. I knew I had only a few hours of free time and chose Icon Park based on the reviews of this place. They are claiming to have the 'best coffee', which I am always searching for. Literally went from the airport directly here. Talk about disappointment. It was awful, not inviting and a rude depressed vibe. The pastry shelf was empty, they had no hot coffee, we were not greeted. I mean, it's as if they would rather you go elsewhere. So sadly, I do not recommend. Luckily, there was a coffee kiosk close by that ground the beans fresh and it was delicious. Then a hop on the Wheel and the day was complete. I don't even know why I am giving 2 stars except for guilt. The Napoleon has good texture, but the cream they use tastes very artificial. Oreo cheesecake is TRASH, tastes like low cal prop food, mostly whipped cream. They burnt the strawberry cheese danish so badly it should have been refunded. 90% of the late night employees and 90% of the pastries are trash. I'm trying to change they're 3 star to a 2 so no late-night scavengers like us give this place a chance. When I was visiting Icon Park with my friend, he really wanted coffee and this place popped up for us. They have both inside and outside places to sit, but there was a group smoking outside, so that was unbearable for two people who have somewhat of a breathing issue. Caramel Frappe: This was a rather cool drink. I enjoyed the coffee flavor they have as well as the amount of caramel in the drink. It was not overbearingly sweet, so my palette was able to enjoy it. I had the cinnamon sugar crepe that had chunks of butter inside that did not even melt and I bit into a chunk of butter. I had a medium caramel macchiato which was much smaller than your standard medium size and it was $8.00. The kids each had an apple juice box which was the tiny juice box maybe with 4 oz of juice and they charged me $4.00 for each. The bill came to $92 with tip. I would not recommend this place. Great cafe to visit at Icon Park, with an amazing patio. The vibes are immaculate. They serve coffee and alcohol so you can order whatever according to preference. BUT, I am taking one star away because they charge more if you dine in? I'm not sure if this is a thing in Orlando or Florida, but the prices were already pricey enough yet they charge more just to dine in. I was a little confused, but I didn't let it bother me. The tables on the patio were really cool -- the legs were the Eiffel Tower and the entire vibe of Icon Park made it very nice. I ordered a Hot Americano and a Lava Cake -- both of which were great. The americano was a great pair to the cake especially when the cake got a bit too sweet. We stopped in here for drinks while visiting Icon Park. It turned out to be a bad idea! The cashier had a dismissive, poor attitude. It seemed like we were bothering her simply by placing our orders. I ordered a Long Island Iced Tea, and my fiancée ordered a strawberry mango daiquiri. Both drinks were extremely watered down. I'm not sure how you mess up an LIT, but iCafe Paris found a way to do so. For $13.99 each plus a 15% tip I expected much better. The only saving grace was their photographer. I was really craving pistachio gelato, and this seemed to be one of the very few spots in the area that had it. I ended up getting a split scoop of chocolate and pistachio, which I'm glad I did. Got a large steeped tea which was okay, they only put one teabag and came out to like $7/8 which is crazy. Staff were not very personable or friendly at all. Didn't ask if I had any questions or needed help deciding. They seemed annoyed I asked for a large instead of the medium that was rung up for me. Cup was scalding hot it should not burn your hand to hold the cup (that's with a sleeve on it). At the very least it can be double cupped. read more

The forks are so weak that I broke 4 of them. Yes, I did just say that. If I was not starving and did not just overpay for it, I would have given up at 2 forks. The forks literally have holes in them at their weakest point at the main junction... and not 1 set of metal silverware on property available according to staff. "Salad" on the side of a breakfast item. (Salad = Lettuce, tomato slice, balsamic LOL) Hot tea $5, "crepe" $17, before taxes and tip. And despite 3x as many employees as customers, the were not very tentative either. Never again for me, and sadly I work by here now so I was really hoping for a new breakfast spot. We have picked up coffee from here each time we have visited the Museum of Illusions. The coffee is great but that's not the best part. Check in when you first walk in.
