My husband and I have done a lot of tours as we love to travel. We both agreed that this half day…read moresnowmobile tour with Nova Guided was one of the best tours we have done. We were picked up at our hotel in Vail by our tour guide Joe. The ride up the mountain was a little scary for us because we are from Miami, Florida and we aren't use to the winding roads going up a mountain but Joe drove very safe so that was a big plus. He also gave a lot of historical information throughout the ride, we learned a lot about the towns he took us through. Once we got to the tour lodge, they provided helmets, boots and a very well kept snowmobile. Joe went over all the safety features and made sure we felt comfortable with our ski. The entire time he kept an eye on the entire group to make sure we were all safe and having fun. The trails were breath taking, we had plenty of time on the ski and the bonus for us was the play time he gave us to do our own thing with the skis. If you love pictures Joe will take all the pictures you ask for and he takes amazing pictures. I will share some of my favorites on this review. We did a snowmobile tour in Canada, compared to this tour, it was very limited and although the views were beautiful the ride on the trail was not very long and we had no free time with the skis. I highly recommend this tour, the trails are beautiful and you will have a great time. The next time we visit Vial, we will do the day long tour and request that Joe be our tour guide.

Upon arrival we were met with a not so warm welcome from a man who claimed he was "closing for the day" he continued to interrogate us asking "who did we speak to" and "I've been here all day and no one called". I showed him the confirmation email showing it was paid for and confirmed at 11:00 am and he proceeded to say "well atleast I'm off for the next 2 days" and "well let's go because the sooner yall are done the sooner I can leave". We felt very awkward and unwelcomed but after driving an hour we were determined to have a good time. We did a self guided tour and before leaving we were handed a map and told we couldn't go up into mountains or on about 50% of the trails which we were not told before booking. We made the most of our 2 hours on flat land and were not able to find the waterfall. We got back and told him we were not able to find the waterfall looking for some clarification, but he could not have cared less and just told us to put our helmets back inside and leave. I understand wanting to leave for the day but when you work for tourists you should appreciate their business especially when you charge a lot for not even being able to go up in the mountains! Will not be recommending this place in the future.

Unbelievable experience and worth every penny!…read more We were so excited to to experience this after years of seeing scenic train rides online. It was on our must do list for our first time in colorado. We purchased tickets online about a month before our trip. The one con is you may be seated with people outside your party depending on the table. I wish they would put this disclaimer online so we could've purchased an extra seat to have that privacy and comfortability. The views were immaculate especially with the fresh powder. All the staff on board were great and attentive. The food was pretty good too. I opted for the chicken sandwich; which was flavorful and juicy. We really enjoyed the bar cart LOL and the open air cart was perfect for the views and pictures. Cons: we found a hair in our welcome cookie and with the price of admission i wish we had our own table and space. Overall, i would recommend taking the family and loved ones on this experience.

Show up early and hit the sampling bar before the tour starts. They have a bunch of teas brewed and ready to drink, and you get to go back for more after the tour ends. I tried way too many before they called us over for the 9 minute intro video, which covers the company history, how their teas get made, and the safety rules for walking through an active production plant. The mint room is the highlight. FDA rules mean you cannot step inside anymore, but you stand at the entrance and the smell hits you instantly. Back away whenever you want. Full sensory experience without the headache. Staff were warm and genuinely into their jobs. They shared fun facts, answered every question, and made it feel personal instead of rehearsed. The gift shop is also a steal, with boxes around $3.75 and seasonal flavors stocked year-round. Go on a weekday if you want smaller groups. Bring a bag for the gift shop, because you will buy more tea than you planned.
