I was in the area so I stopped in with my two grandkids to try out their ice cream. The service was good and friendly. The restaurant was clean, but they have limited seating. We ordered a Little Bae vanilla bean scoop with sprinkles for my two year-old grandson. Then a soft serve regular cup for my granddaughter with cookie bears. I had the chocolate scoop with Reese's peanut butter cup. The chocolate was well flavored and rich. I don't think they put that many toppings on. My ice cream had just one Reese's peanut butter cup. My granddaughters had about five of the tiny gram bear cookies. The vanilla bean for my grandson was just OK since I tried it out. With a tip it came to slightly over $20. They have a variety of toppings, quite a bit of them cereal toppings. They have various other toppings as well and unique combinations.

The Cinnamon Toast Brunch was really good and I'm one who prefers chocolate ice cream over vanilla. I love Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal though and wanted to give a try. I'd rate it an 8/10. My friend ordered Chocolate Wasted and she enjoyed hers also. I'd go back and try Chocolate Wasted next. Customer service was great.

They also have an option to buy pints of they're soft serve flavors as well. I tried the C is for Cookie Monster which was cookies and cream ice cream with Oreo dusting and half a cookie. It was really good, not a strong cookie flavor in the ice cream itself but overall it was really good and not overly sweet. We also go the cinnamon toast brunch which was vanilla ice cream with Cinnamon Toast Crunch dusting, a honey bun, and honey graham teddy bears. It was the perfect blend of honey and cinnamon and also wasn't too sweet. Prices are really good for the amount you get and all the toppings that come on it. I would recommend if you're looking for ice cream that's extra.
Finally got to try the most instagrammable ice cream in KC! The flavor combinations are unique, and you get a good portion size for the price. The ube soft serve was very tasty, but it didn't blow me away like other KC ice cream establishments do. But if you're looking for your next cute social media post or looking to dazzle a child with a cute ice cream, this is perfect. The singular employee in the tiny shop was working so hard to get everyone's ice cream done quickly and cutely! She was awesome. There's a few bar stools and small tables inside, but there isn't much space for eating inside the store. They are conveniently close to the 117th parking garage!
Finally went to check out ice cream bae the other night and I wasn't disappointed. The service could have been better. They weren't very friendly. But it was very busy in there. I got the ube matcha swirl with honey & condensed milk drizzle (I can't remember the name of it). The ice cream was DELICIOUS. The shop is cute but very small.

The store is always decorated with the walls painted and a neon light hanging on wall for pictures. 100% kid friendly! The ice cream tasted great, especially with the cereal on top. It was pricey, but In my opinion, it is worth the money for an aesthetic dessert with good flavor. One of my favorite parts of the place is the location, and how you can take the ice cream outside into town center to eat it! Will be returning

We went on a Friday night with a line out the door. I'm not complaining about the wait because those young folk behind the register were hustling. They were slammed but fast, friendly, and efficient. I like the location, very cute. And the ice cream was so good. We got vanilla ice cream with fruity pebbles and mini chocolate chips. I would def get again. I'm glad I waited.

First off, let's split this into a couple of different areas that make up the Bae 'experience': Ice cream: 4/5 stars; good, just not...great Venue: 2/5 stars; small but it's more of a grab & go Personnel: 5/5 stars; one - ONE - sweet kid working Staffing: 0/5 stars; Ice Cream Bae - you stink! Summertime & ice cream pretty much go hand-in-hand, so it's no surprise that people flock into this shop. With great eats nearby or a soft area for littles to play just outside, this is a good spot to grab a sweet treat. Aye, but that's the rub. The menu, littered with 'specialities', calls for lots of prep work to serve the ice cream. It ain't just scooping from tubs, no, these are more 'artisanal' than they might need to be. When staffing is, ahem, 'challenged', then the line really backs up as people order these items off the menu. Our last visit had just one young lady working, and she was working her heart out. But there wasn't any help, and because there wasn't any help, everything was affected. BOOOOOOO!! So if you're more interested in sharing your treat on Insta or other socials, then knock yerself silly. But who gives two toots about ice cream that is expensive and delivered verrryyyy slowly? Take a pic and make it a still life, because Ice Cream Bae can be more 'still life' than quality experience. read more
This is a cute little ice cream shop in Leawood and they have such tasty options. Service was light thankfully, even on a weekend but they say it normally gets busy in the evenings. These servings are huge in my opinion and worth the money. The place truly gives modern day looking cream shop and being in tune with Gen Z vibes, if you know what I mean haha. Nice little hangout spot and I look forward to coming here in the evenings to see more of the strip. read more

I have walked by this place several times while enjoying the restaurants or live music. Finally saved some room for dessert on this warm winter evening. I opted for the cup of peppermint soft serve with mini chocolate chips. The cost of $4.50 wasn't too much for the option of mine. The peppermint is more subtle taste. I did like the bites I had with the chocolate chip. The peppermint flavor seem to become more mute as I ate it. I feel like there wasn't much to my cup of ice cream that would draw me to return to this shop. Other people in my party got some of their special menu items. I tasted theirs and like them but again such a novelty that I would come back. read more

Cute little ice cream shop tucked inside Park Place. The interior is pretty small with minimal seating, but we enjoyed our ice cream sitting outside on the lawn area. We got the Strawberry Shortcake and Cookies & Dream ice cream and were pleasantly surprised! The Strawberry Shortcake ice cream consisted of vanilla soft serve, shortcake crumbles, fresh strawberries, strawberry pocky sticks, and a cone on top. The Cookies & Dream ice cream included vanilla soft serve, Oreo crumbs, one cookie, cookies and cream pocky sticks, and a cone as well. They did not skimp out on the toppings, and both tasted exactly how they looked - delicious. Portions were ginormous and well worth the price. We were skeptical at first since it looked like more of an instagrammable spot more than anything, but we enjoyed it very much. read more

Ice Cream Bae gets a lot of hype for having such Instagrammable offerings, and the actual product is pretty tasty as well. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the details on both the Strawberry Shortcake and the I Love You So Matcha--the matcha dusting and the shortcake crumbs made both that much better! Unfortunately, this isn't a great spot to hang out since there are only two seats at a narrow counter space for people to sit, and the menu offerings are very limited (there's a rotating list of five soft serve options in additional to the standard nine combos). If you're walking around Park Place, Ice Cream Bae is a decent option, but otherwise I'd look to the other great places around KC for similar desserts (I Am Frozen in Overland Park, Sylas and Maddy's in Olathe, Betty Rae's downtown, your local Andy's). read more
I ordered the Cookies and Dream ice cream cone. I was definitely surprised when I received the cone. It was big in size, and the cookies with pocky sticks made the cone look even more interesting. The flavor of the ice cream was great! Tasted sweet, light on the stomach, and since I went while it was snowing outside, it added to the experience. However, the only thing I did not like with the Cookies and Dream cone is that the Oreo cookie was extremely hard, but tasted good. The pocky sticks have a great taste as well, but I'm not sure if they fit in with the ice cream cone. Overall, my experience was amazing. Being able to eat ice cream on a snowy, cold day while watching the ice skaters on the other side made everything better. The servers were polite and answered any questions I had regarding certain ice cream cone selections. I definitely recommend this establishment to anyone wanting to get some good ice cream! I will definitely be returning to try the other selections on their menu! read more
The ice cream was beautiful and the servings were more than enough! Make sure if you're eating in another restaurant close by, you leave room for this! This little shop is located in a cute plaza with lots of choices of food. The girls who were working there were pretty quick with getting your order out. They even have milkshakes! read more

Our family stopped in after ice skating and this place was a hit. The presentation and promptness of service is what impressed us the most. Each cone and dish had a great flavor and was a lot better than plain ice cream with a topping. The s'more specialty has graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallows mixed throughout the whole cup. Almost similar to how cold stone makes their "specialities." Price I felt like is average anywhere from $6+ depending on what you get with how many toppings. The only complaint would be this place really needs to add more seating. Not a fan of eating ice cream with children in the car. However my kids finished their ice cream and stated we will definitely be coming back. read more

hit this place up!! The ice cream in the photo was $5.50 and it was worth the price! Delicious flavor, and texture and it was beautiful, a lot more than you think, I couldn't finish it and I have a big appetite. The walls have this fun cartoon effect and it's really cool! (I forgot to snap a pic) an uncomfortable thing happened where a man opens the door for us and complements us. After we get in he says "man I would love a hot chocolate, but I have no money" we tried to get him one but they said it would take an hour so we got him something else. The nice man at the counter saw our situation and gave it to him for free. Overall I wish I would go again to try more flavors, (the matcha was out ) read more

Dear Ice Cream Bae, Please come to Lee's Summit! We ventured over to Leawood today for the sole purpose of getting ice cream and we were not disappointed! The employees were really nice and helpful, explaining the options to us. They were also very patient as we weighed our options; so many delicious looking choices! The girls were living for the pink ice cream cone! They got Tahitian vanilla with sprinkles and the pink cone. I ordered the strawberry shortcake in a cup. Delicious! Pleasantly surprised I liked this place. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews so took me forever to actually try it however I think its definitely worth a try. I love they have some of my favorite flavors: ube and matcha. I have only tried the soft serve and was pleased that the portion sizing was bigger than I expected for $5. The soft serve was creamy and soft. I care a lot about texture with soft serve and it was definitely better than I expected. Not the best but definitely not bad. My friend ordered a specially cinnamon toast crunch one and looked 5 stars but personally too much going on for me. Definitely a place I would check out if you're interested in soft serve! read more

If you want dessert that's Instagrammable and delicious, then Ice Cream Bae is your spot! I came here with some friends and decided to get the Not Your Average S'more in a cone, and let me just start by talking about the size! The portion was extremely generous. The charred marshmallow combined with the chocolate transported me to campfire nights. Plus, it was extremely cute! My only recommendation is to come here as its own outing instead of stopping by after dinner. I had to give up halfway through as it was too big - a good problem to have! I'll absolutely be back and can't wait to try the other flavours! read more
So I'll start by saying I am very lactose intolerant so Ice Cream Bae gets 5 stars from me simply for having a non dairy option and it actually being so yummy! I got non dairy chocolate with cookie dough which is my absolute favorite and it was so good plus no tummy ache! Huge win! I love location of the Leawood shop and also loved how helpful the staff was for my first time stopping by! It's a super cute ice cream shop and super fun with all the different toppings! read more

I tried the Not your average s'more in a cup and oh man it was delicious! A deconstructed s'more with vanilla ice cream! Perfect for the bon fire/ s'more season too! Enjoyed the chocolate overload (soft serve with oreos, kit kat, and a reese's cup). Employee was helpful in explaining the menu + providing recommendations. Easy parking in the structure. Great presentation and minimal waiting. read more
I am a huge fan of Ice Cream Bae on the plaza, so it's no surprise that I love this location as well. The staff here is very friendly and will answer any questions you may have about the deliciousness your taste buds are about to experience. The ice cream is so creamy and delicious, I love the combinations they have to offer. My new favorite signature is Strawberry Shortcake, although all of the other combinations are just as tasty. Ice Cream Bae also has a points program- so make sure to sign up to get some deals! Will be coming back soon. read more
