Fast, fun, delicious. This is the most fun way to eat handmade ice cream. Not only is the icecream super tasty, but you get a show as he makes it right in front of you. Starting with milk base he adds in the flavor, mixes and rolls it right there. Lots of free toppings as well. Tucked into a food truck pod off of Kuhio. There's seating but no shade. Best to come at night for a late night treat. $10 per cup. Bring chopsticks for a truly fun eating experience.

It's a small stand with one person making the ice cream but there was only one person infront of us in line. We got Strawberry Dream and Oreo Team ice cream rolls. Both so good!! Perfect for dessert after walking around Waikiki. There are a couple tables outdoor to sit as there are other food trucks nearby. The guy making the ice cream rolls was nice too, and we simply just enjoyed the good vibes here! Would love to come back again hopefully soon!

It's great ice cream. Loved the minute of entertainment on how they perform making these rolls. Delicious and made in front of you.

Waikiki definitely needed a cafe like this one. Everything was super delicious, they have great local coffee and delicious freshly made crepes. We also had a Salomon croissant. They have both savory and sweet crepes. I had a savory Salomon crepe. The service is great, the girl behind the window, Anna was very sweet and very helpful. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend this place. I loved the street feel of the place, and the fact that I could enjoy my breakfast in the beautiful hawaiian outdoors.

I was excited to finally try the ice cream here after walking by it a few times however, as I was waiting for one of my kids ordering a hula dog in one of the next door stalls the person working inside was vaping. What a shame because I was looking forward to eating some ice cream rolls. It was just a turn off seeing all that vape swirling around inside.

I was craving rolled ice cream and this little ice cream stand was just a short walk away from my hotel so I gave it a try. There were only a few people in front of me, but since there is only one man working the stand, the wait was long. The presentation of my ice cream was a bit messed up as the rolls slipped a few times when he tried to place them in my cup, but that's okay. Another thing to note is that the ice cream is very pricey ($10-11 for one cup). I can get a medium sized poke bowl with fresh fish across the street from Maguro Spot for the same price. The taste and flavor of the ice cream itself was good, however I've had better rolled ice cream at most shops in NY/NJ (for less expensive too) where the rolls were more precise (perfectly thin, even, non-melty layers which are rolled tightly together into perfect cylinders) and the presentation is always on point. But maybe I'm just a picky ice cream person. There are some tables and grass in the surrounding area and a few other food vendors so it's pretty lively here and pleasant to sit. Overall would recommend if you're especially craving rolled ice cream and nearby. Also kudos to the man running this stand as I'm sure it gets tiring!

After the Starlight Parade, we wanted some dessert. This was close by so we tried it out. This is a small stand in Waikiki. The owner runs it. It is located near Hula dogs on Kapuni Street. It is NOT located where all the food trucks are at, it's the smaller little area AFTER Hy's Steak house. (Just GPS it) Parking: It is Waikiki, parking sucks. There is a paid parking area across the street, it also is a couple blocks from zoo parking. If you are close, it might be easier to walk or uber/lyft. First of all, these is cream rolls have gained so much in popularity all over. You know what the big difference is for this little stand? He makes his rolls from SCRATCH! No mixed bases, no pre mixed solutions, it is always made from milk and whatever ingredients you choose! It's so cool to watch him make the different rolls from fresh ingredients right in front of you! Ice cream rolls are PACKED with flavor!!! I was amazed how much flavor was in these cream rolls. I have tried the other places and the have the base already premixed then you add the toppings to be mixed in. THIS is a whole new level. It's definitely worth checking out. My faves: oreo or strawberry Graham cracker! Soooooo good!! There is outdoor tables and seating in the little kuhio eatery area to enjoy. Great to have on a sunny day or when you are on that sweet tooth kick.

While we have some great Hawaiian garlic shrimp spots in Arizona, we had to at least try to get some garlic shrimp while on Oahu. We gave this place a try just because we were already in the building. It wasn't a choice we made prior because honestly, I would have suggested trying a more well-known spot like two miles away, haha! We shared a $14 Shrimp with Original Garlic sauce on it and made it a combo with rice, a scoop of potato mac salad, and regular salad, $14 + $6. Sam's Kitchen was okay. I would have loved to have the shell-on but this place does not offer shell-on shrimp. Still, they make a decent garlic shrimp.

It was perfectly ripe and one of the best that I have tasted. That is an example of the Aloha you will feel while visiting. I have been to Hawaii a dozen times and was never a fan of Poi because I never tasted a dish that was prepared properly. We went to a picnic the previous day that had a donut like pasty made with Poi and fresh Poi made at a local restaurant. They were both delicious and this totally changed my opinion. Based on that positive experience I wanted to try the signature Poi dog. We opted for the spicy version. It was so tasty with the matching condiments.
