They are probably one of the smaller spots compared to the other eateries there. They offer exactly as advertised, rolls of ice cream. The guy that helped us out helpful, albeit, not super sociable, but it's ice cream and I just wanted mine with how late it was in the night. I got myself the strawberry rolled ice cream. It was good. The one thing about rolled ice cream is that it's almost more like ice cream flakes, because that's kind of how they are after they've been rolled into each piece, and then eaten. Of course, it's not cheap for ice cream. You do get a lot though, or at least believe it's a lot since we kept eating until maybe we were almost sick of it from all the scooping and eating. It's a small stand with one person making the ice cream but there was only one person infront of us in line. We got Strawberry Dream and Oreo Team ice cream rolls. Both so good!! Waikiki definitely needed a cafe like this one. Everything was super delicious, they have great local coffee and delicious freshly made crepes. We also had a Salomon croissant. They have both savory and sweet crepes. I had a savory Salomon crepe. The service is great, the girl behind the window, Anna was very sweet and very helpful. I was craving rolled ice cream and this little ice cream stand was just a short walk away from my hotel so I gave it a try. There were only a few people in front of me, but since there is only one man working the stand, the wait was long. The presentation of my ice cream was a bit messed up as the rolls slipped a few times when he tried to place them in my cup, but that's okay. Another thing to note is that the ice cream is very pricey ($10-11 for one cup). I can get a medium sized poke bowl with fresh fish across the street from Maguro Spot for the same price. The taste and flavor of the ice cream itself was good, however I've had better rolled ice cream at most shops in NY/NJ (for less expensive too) where the rolls were more precise (perfectly thin, even, non-melty layers which are rolled tightly together into perfect cylinders) and the presentation is always on point. But maybe I'm just a picky ice cream person. There are some tables and grass in the surrounding area and a few other food vendors so it's pretty lively here and pleasant to sit. Overall would recommend if you're especially craving rolled ice cream and nearby. Also kudos to the man running this stand as I'm sure it gets tiring! read more

Taste: I was pretty underwhelmed. I had the cookies and cream and the wife had the Nesquick. Both tasted like "mild" ice cream. It was like expecting orange soda and drinking an orange La Croix. Dont get me wrong, I like orange La Croix (if that's what I'm expecting). But I was expecting cookies and cream (2 great tastes that go even better together), and that was mot the taste delivered. If you're looking for something different, give it a try. But if you have a hankering for something full flavored, for a few bucks cheaper, you can get some ice cream or gelato at half a dozen other places within a few blocks. read more

First of all, these is cream rolls have gained so much in popularity all over. You know what the big difference is for this little stand? He makes his rolls from SCRATCH! No mixed bases, no pre mixed solutions, it is always made from milk and whatever ingredients you choose! It's so cool to watch him make the different rolls from fresh ingredients right in front of you! Ice cream rolls are PACKED with flavor!!! I was amazed how much flavor was in these cream rolls. I have tried the other places and the have the base already premixed then you add the toppings to be mixed in. THIS is a whole new level. It's definitely worth checking out. My faves: oreo or strawberry Graham cracker! Soooooo good!! There is outdoor tables and seating in the little kuhio eatery area to enjoy. Went on Saturday after 8pm. It's a small cart on the corner of this grassy area where you'll find other interesting food trucks and food carts. When I arrived the line had 4-5 people in front of me. So wait time was around 30 minutes. As of today, each roll cup is $10, with a good amount of options for free toppings. Although, extra toppings consisting of Whipped Cream, Nutella or Condensed Milk and are $1 extra. We tried the Banana and Caramel and Oreo Team, plus extra toppings. Both were very good! I love this concept, its fun and creative. The way the added flavor is chopped and mixed with the cream, it packs the ice cream with flavor. He got the chocolate ice cream topped with chocolate sauce and chocolate powder. I am only giving 4 stars because of the shady non-dairy options. It's advertised that all flavors have a non-dairy option except for the chocolate HOWEVER which I asked him what the base is he said "cream". He was very kind and offered to go inside to show me the label to me sure that's what I want but I didn't. So all my non-dairy folks, ask to look at the label to verify! PS.
