Very close Waikiki and hotel within walking distance. They have a coffee as well as shave Fresh toppings from Liliko, mango, coconut, raspberries, etc. They also have other toppings, from adzuki/sweet red beans, condensed milk and ice cream. Ice is fluffy and not icy, toppings really is fresh, Prices are high, but typical of touristy/Waikiki. the ambience fine very laid-back, service is good.

After 5 mins this what my shave ice looked like

I got my shave ice and it was already puddle in only 3 mins, I asked them to remake it but they said it was because of the syrup but my sons and wife's were still frozen and resembled a shave ice. So I think they made mines first and let it sit there for awhile. Syrups are too sweet. They don't turn up the AC so it was incredibly warm inside and no bathrooms for customers. Go somewhere else to get your shave ice.

Located in the Marriott, right across the beach. A must go to on a hot day. I made my own shaved ice with guava & mango & omg, it was so delicious! They also have many creations if you cannot decide & they also sell their famous coffee.

Amazing latte just very pricy. About $10 but so yummy. The coffee is so smooth and the Mac nut flavor is strong.

"A Flavor Explosion Before Fireworks Night" Food (5 / 5): We stopped by Island Vintage Shave Ice on a Friday night just 15 minutes before the fireworks started -- and this place is an absolute must-visit. We ordered the Heavenly Lilikoi and the Super Island, and both were incredible. The combination of intense fruit flavors, real fruit, popping boba, yogurt, and mochi creates a dessert that's layered with textures and flavors you really won't find anywhere else outside of Hawaii. Every bite keeps things interesting. Once you get toward the center, you're met with a creamy yogurt that has a slightly sweet, almost cheesecake-like flavor -- such a nice surprise and a perfect finish to the shave ice. Service (4.5 / 5): Service was quick and efficient. Ordering is super easy since everything is done through a kiosk, making the whole process smooth even during a busy night. Ambience / Décor: The place itself is clean, but we chose to enjoy our desserts in the outdoor seating area, which is also pet-friendly. The seating feels semi-private, so you can relax without a lot of foot traffic around you. Bonus Tip: After grabbing your dessert, take a quick walk across the street to the beachfront -- you'll be treated to a beautiful view of the fireworks. Perfect way to end the night. Overall: Delicious, refreshing, and packed with flavor -- this is more than just shave ice, it's an experience. Between the quality, variety, and location, it's definitely worth the stop.

Food was delicious. E had the taro boba. My husband was impressed, even said out loud "this is delicious". Coming from him, you have to believe it! We also had the açaí bowl with fruits around it and an ice cream on top. That was yummy too. Service was good. The lady at the counter explained what is in the taro drink we had. She was hospitable. Ambiance, quiet. The store nicely lit because, glass panel.

I guess I'm a shave ice snob! This place was forgettable. The consistency of the ice was nice, maybe their syrups were the meh factor. Would try a different place next time.

I had shaved ice at a few other places, and frankly, felt a bit disappointed, but I was convinced to go to Island Vintage Shave Ice, and it made me realize what I was missing all this time! Unlike the other places I had been, the shaved ice was put on top of yogurt and contained toppings that included mochi and fruit. The flavours had a more natural taste to it, compared to the more artificial flavor I tasted at previous places. The service was great and the place had some seating indoors and outside, to enjoy the shaved ice

This was one of our favorite shaved ice spots in Hawaii. We tried several places during our trip, but this one stood out the most. We ordered the Tropical Island and loved that it came with ice cream and toppings. Shaved ice syrups usually taste overly artificial, but this one did not, which made it even more enjoyable. It is centrally located in Waikiki, with another location in front of the Royal Hawaiian Center. This location also has plenty of seating if you prefer to dine in. Service was great too, highly recommend!

Probably the best shave ice I've had in the island and the best coffee, too! I love that it's walking distance to our hotel and the beach. My coffee guy was pleasant and cheerful! Loved the energy!!

We have been fans for island vintage for years but this is the first store front location we went into. It was awesome! They had tables and chairs inside. We got our shaved ice quickly. Perfect welcome snack when you are back on the island! Will definitely come back!

The place looks nice, service is good however the juice they use on the shave ice tastes generic & not that flavorful. I ordered the the shave ice volcano with popping bubbles and ice cream. The popping bubbles was the only thing that has it flavor, we still to our usual spot.

Located right on the Main Street of Waikiki and conveniently located across from the beach, it serves a variety of drinks and shave ice options. We got the tropical flavors and it was so refreshing!

Super late review -…read more I'm sad. I really wanted to love this place but I just couldn't. I don't want to be that person when this place has an overall rating of 4.5 but this is just my honest opinion. I got the blue dream and yes it was very ascetically pleasing, but it was just too icy. Before coming to this place i read a couple of reviews that also said the same thing and i didn't understand what that meant, but now I do. There are a lot of flavorless, just regular, small shards of ice in the bowl. On top of that, the moment I received my bowl, it was already borderline melted. So that got me thinking, how can it be melted and icy at the same time? The only explanation that I can think of is just ice additive/fillers. It's not pure cold acai or whatever is in the bowl you choose, but there's a mixture of ice in it too. Yes I understand, it's Waikiki, everything is more expensive, but the added topping prices on top of the already expensive bowl prices just don't make sense. You want a beautiful looking bowl with a lot of different toppings, yet some toppings can go up to 1 dollar PER topping. I don't know if I've just been spoiled by a couple places in SoCal, but at those places they have unlimited toppings and those bowls are the best that there is. I'm not bringing any bias from other locations, but this is just an honest review based on my experience today.

That said, I don't care what era we're talking about; Waffle and Berry is the GOAT of breakfast. I had the Shrimp & Grits Bowl, and it was outstanding. And shoutout to the beef sausage... Absolutely delicious! It was served with a slice of freshly toasted garlic bread that was warm, fragrant, and perfectly crisp without being overly toasted. // Wailua Moana Açaí Bowl So refreshing! Easily one of the best açaí bowls we've had. The texture was thick and smooth with a great balance of fresh fruit, crunchy granola, and healthy fats from the nuts. Every bite was delicious. // Matcha We ordered both the regular matcha latte with coconut foam and the strawberry matcha latte. I was so disappointed they no longer offer the lilikoi matcha- I know that flavor combination would've been amazing! Hopefully they bring it back someday. The matcha itself was on the lighter side compared to richer ceremonial matchas, but it was still smooth, well-balanced, and not at all astringent. It paired really well with the oat milk, and both drinks were enjoyable. There was a line out the door during breakfast/brunch hours, which shows just how popular this place is. Despite the crowd, the service was friendly and efficient, and we were able to grab a small table to dine in. It's located on the upper level of the Royal Hawaiian Center, making it a convenient stop while shopping in Waikiki. I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu (hoping the lilikoi matcha will make a comeback too)!
