One very odd guy at the counter and 3 deuces besides us in booths. Hubs tried the Buffalo Chicken Tenders which he said were unremarkable but fine. I had the meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes and the 'zucchini medley'. In all honesty but for the oiliness of the gravy my dinner was really good and so hot that I had to adjust everything in order to release some of the heat. The meatloaf was serviceable and a large portion of it (I'm having the remnants as a sandwich for lunch today), the mashed potatoes were definitely from fresh potatoes as I found a not unpleasant chunk of unmashed potato in there. The zucchini was a real treat with caramelized zucchini, which I love, crispy shallots and grape tomatoes. All, as I said, piping hot. Good, inexpensive diner food, server with speed, friendliness and care in a cutesy Cape Cod diner.
