Bulgoki - good size portion, nice and fresh flavors.
snoozin p.

My first time here and seems worth repeat visits. I had Bulgoki, a Korean dish and example of some of the variety they have in addition to teriyaki. The beef was tender and freshly stir fried with vegetables plus came tender rise and good portion of salad. Teriyaki places always have a certain kind of dressing but this was better balanced as to sweetness and a little bite (wasabi or something?). People mostly do take out but there's also a clean bright sitting area and looks like a restroom too. Easy parking. Counter Service was pretty quick and kind.

We grabbed a quick bite at this teriyaki restaurant and it was pretty much as expected. We ordered stir fry veggies with a side of teriyaki chicken and portions were good. The veggies were mostly cabbage, with some carrots and broccoli. The teriyaki sauce was not too sweet. The dining area was basic, not too busy. This is a good quick bite option.

I came in for wonton soup and got a huge bowl of Heaven. The one tons are huge and the broth is perfect especially if you have a cold! skip the egg rolls either! They are excellent. Not soggy or over fried. The owners are very friendly as well!

We tried again a week or so later as my work is close by and we wanted something quick and affordable as we had a comedy show to go to afterwards. As we entered, we were the only ones and we were greeted warmly by the sushi chef and our waitress. Our waitress told us to pick any table we'd like and she brought us menus. Once we had ample time to glance over the menu which honestly had the right amount of items, I got the udon and shrimp tempura while my boyfriend got their Philadelphia roll and chicken katsu. Our waitress asked if we were fine with water and I didn't see a drink section on the menu but they do offer fountain drinks, canned drinks and hot tea. The inside is small but it's cozy and initmate. They have K-pop playing in the background with the music video. There is a good mix of natural lighting from the sun and inside. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained. We received our roll and shrimp tempura first, udon next and finally the chicken katsu. The katsu sauce here is one of the best katsu sauce we've ever had as it had a perfect balance of tangy, sweet and savory flavors. There was a lot of katsu and my boyfriend said the only complaint was he wished there was a bit more rice as the ratio was off. I loved my udon, they give a generous portion of fish cakes, fish balls and a piece of shrimp tempura as well as plenty of tempura flakes. I do wish there was a bit more noodles but that was my only real complaint. The shrimp tempura was good but I do wish there was a bit more sauce. My boyfriend's roll was delicious and fresh! Their hot green tea was also comforting and delightful! The service here is pleasant as our waitress was kind and checked in on us often. She was also courteous and professional with other customers. We look forward to coming back whenever we're hungry for good and affordable sushi and Korean food.

The cashier/server is very sweet! She made sure we were satisfied with our sushi and kept coming back to check in on us. The place is cute inside, it was actually very roomy, has a lot of natural light and they had some K-pop videos playing in the background. The restaurant is tucked away near the closed down Old Country Buffett in Kent East Hill. I really should've tried coming here instead of traveling to Renton for some sushi! But I will definitely return for more of their delicious sushi!!! I would definitely give them a try if you're in the area.

You do have to put a $40/person deposit but it gets refunded once you pay for your meal. There is street parking available. The place is very small which makes sense since he only serve 1 group at a time. This might be my personal opinion but Because it's only one group, I hoped it would have been a little more interactive, like the chef could have explained his technique and skills while we were waiting or at least let us see what he was doing. We sat at the bar table but it was blocked by a counter so we couldn't see anything and he didn't talk and we had to wait around 15 minutes for our first dish. Foodwise: 10 piece nigiri --- love the different fishes that was available and all of them has their own distinct texture and flavor. My husband who loves nigiri said it was a fun experience. Scallop inari - scallop was cream and soft and smooth, I think the sweetness was a little overpowering though. Seabass crudo --- for how little there was of the fish itself, there was a lot of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette. After finishing the fish, I was hoping to have some bread to eat more of the oil. Special maguro don--- I love this dish - the fish melts in your mouth, the rice went well with the fish and the wasabi was delicious. Price was also very reasonable for the quality of fish. Overall, it was a good experience, I definitely would recommend

This place was empty when I paid a visit because it was on a Monday, so I don't know how they are on a weekend. Anyway, the one lone chef behind the counter greeted me and asked what I'd like for my order. I decided to settle down for a Red Dragon Roll. It took quite a bit to wait for the roll because the chef made it fresh! Additionally, note that this restaurant is small and very casual. There are couple tables out there for people, who want to sit outside of the restaurant.

I had placed a pickup order through GrubHub, and was quoted 30 minutes. It's located inside the Great Wall shopping mall, so parking was relatively easy to find and I was able to stay dry while waiting since the little store was indoors. Upon my arrival, they did not have my order and I waited another 15 minutes for my order to be ready. The poor staff was running around and rushed. It's also a very, very tiny place, with a narrow 4 person counter behind the line, and only 2 tables inside. They had placed some tables outside as well for patrons. I love menus that allow me to order varied items but also basic items like sashimi, and this place had both. They make a lot of different hand rolls that are packaged individually, as well as what's called a sushi donut (sashimi layered over donut shaped rice ball. It was such a fun and different way to eat sashimi. The food was fresh and really satisfying. The prices are pretty good too.

This place is pretty amazing! Definitely for special occasions, date nights, birthdays,…read moreanniversaries, etc. Plan to spend about 90 min eating here. You may be seated with another party (8 max per table from what I can see). They like to fill the table. Reservations make it easier for them to plan I bet. The food was top notch!!! I had steak and chicken. My bestie had the salmon. The veggies were perfectly cooked. Flavors are wonderful! Here's some things you may want to know: Chairs aren't the most comfortable (probably can hold up to 350 lbs). Air blows on your food if sitting on one of the ends (from the vent hood). This cooled down my food faster than I would have liked. Good thing I'm a fast eater! The entertainment was excellent! Tip well ok? :) It's a lot of food! You will be full. If ordering salmon, the finish it off with a teriyaki sauce. If you know ahead of time you can skip that if you'd like. I came with a shellfish allergy and they were very accommodating!!! They cooked my steak and chicken before any shellfish went on the grill. I appreciated that very much. All in all, this was a great experience and family friendly for all ages.

We ordered the Calamari Squid Steak, Kid's Yakisoba, Side Tofu, and Hibachi Lobster, all of them were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The fried rice upgrade was worth every penny! Drinks were great too, loved the Virgin Mojito, Pepsi, and Pineapple Juice served in a cute kids' cup. The service was fast, and the food was full of flavor. Overall, it was a wonderful Saturday night dinner with great food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely a 5-star experience, can't wait to come back again soon!
