It's served over fried rice with a side of yum yum (shrimp) sauce. My hubby gets double teriyaki chicken with broccoli. That's also served over fried rice. It was very attractive and satisfying. I had hot tea, which was nothing special: just a tea bag of green tea in a plastic mug. The restaurant could improve the presentation on that. One tv was showing music videos with the sound off. Another tv was playing anime with English subtitles. The walls were covered in hand painted sushi art and posters of many kinds. (Perhaps labeling them would be a good idea for people with allergies or for those just nervous to try something new.) The yakitori was a hit. The bacon wrapped scallops were amazing. The fried rice was delicious. The sauces--YUM! The food was delivered to the hosts' home on time and with everything there. I've spent a few months in Japan and loved every meal there.
