I was given a burger with no cheese so I waved a worker down asking for some. I guess it happened to be a line cook which then he said "People complain about everything these days." The rudest customer service people. Would not let us make a reservation then when we got there there were people being let in front of us that had reservations. Did not tell us how long the wait would be and ended up being over an hour. When we asked how long it would be they said 15 minutes, after about 20 minutes we asked and they said they had no idea. The last couple of weeks we've eaten at LongHorn a couple of times. The service was 1st class and our order for the 3 of us was perfect. The garden salad was fresh and the blue cheese dressing was perfect. Watched the other servers as they scurried around the restaurant, all of them had a smile and a cando attitude. I believe that the service can sometimes make mediocre meals much better simply by being close at hand. Came here for my grandmothers birthday and the staff was really nice! We got here and had a big box with a cake and they offered to keep it in the back for us until afterwards which was really nice so it wasn't in the way! The staff were very friendly and working hard to get us everything we needed. My grandma is always extra and asks for veryyyy specific requests like " not leafy lettuce " in her salad LOL like even I don't know what that means but the server was so nice and patient and made sure to bring a non " leafy " salad hahaha. On this trip the fryer was out of service. The host informed us as soon as we walked in. We were seated promptly and our orders were great. My steak was undercooked but it was good enough for me. Our waitress was awesome, she was very attentive, even the guys that brought the food to us made sure was right before they left us. I can no longer recommend the Winder/Bethlehem location. We formerly ate here regularly but the last few times the food was sub par. I typically get the Parmesan chicken but it was partially burned and dry. Normally it's moist and tasty. My friends chicken tenders appetizer were so dry she could not eat them. Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes were COLD. Evidently they get the veggies premade and just heat them ups Drinks (margarita long pour) did not seem to have any alcohol in it but a lot of orange juice. Shrimp were dripping grease. Well I have eaten at this LH many times and finally they have given in to typical inflation monster. I usually get the chop steak at lunch and they have dramatically down sized this portion and it tastes different too. So much for consistency. Asked for a well done and this is what I get... severely burnt outside with a very red inside. Our waitress, Kathrine P, was less than desirable and pretty much didn't bother with us. She even seen how burnt the steak was (I didn't know it was that red at that moment because I hadn't cut into it yet). She offered to do nothing about it. In the end we got a 10% discount on a steak I didn't even eat. I would have gladly paid for the potato and salad but they for sure could have comped the steak that I left sitting there, besides the few pieces I did bring home to the dogs. We LOVE Longhorn, but today was an underwhelming experience. It was just my VETERAN husband (on Veteran's Day) and myself. Our server, Jennifer was just awful. I hate to say that but it's true. It took a good ten minutes before we had waters on the table and she wasn't even who brought them. I ordered shrimp and my husband ordered the Flo's filet. For whatever reason my food came out over 5 minutes before my husband's, which was about 45-50 minutes after we had been sat. I wasn't going to eat alone while he had no food, so I waited and of course my food continued to cool. The food was, however, friggin AMAZING, as usual. BUT... we also ordered a Caesar salad and fries to go for our daughter and got it home and it was literally just a little bit of lettuce in a container, no cheese, no croutons, no dressing. I mean what the heck? We also ordered two of the the seasonal flaming pumpkin pie shots for "dessert" and she brought one. More waiting... Came here tonight with my boyfriend and his friends. All 4 of us ordered the same steak, the New York strip, cooked medium. Each steak came out different. One was medium rare, one medium, one medium well and one well done. The well done one got sent back. It took forever for that steak to come back out - all of us were done with our food when it finally arrived. I'm glad I fed him about 1/3 of my steak while we waited. And then it was a thinner steak and still a bit closer to medium well than medium. He sent the steak back again and told them he didn't want anything else. They comped the steak from the bill but I still don't know that they fully handled the situation correctly - both with speed and the quality of the steak that came back out. When the steak came out, the manager hovered over him vs giving him some space to try the new steak and when he rejected it, there was no apology for it not being correct. Went here on Jan.20.2020 Had to be the worst Prime rib I have had in about 10 years, It was very thin cut and way over cooked. Tasted like a pot roast that had been heated up 4 or 5 times in microwave. The last time we was there about 5 months ago the food was not very good so we thought we would give them another chance. We went for lunch on a Saturday. There was a promo for $5 off your next dinner if you purchased a $25 gift certificate. We asked if we could use the gift certificate right then for lunch and still get the $5 off coupon. They said yes without question. We purchased the gift cert from the bar so we were seated in that section. The bartender, Danielle was great. She completed our gift certificate transaction and, after inquiring about the mysterious pineapple infused liquid in a large container with a spigot, gave us a small sample of their Pineapple Goldrush liquor, made with Skyy Passion Fruit Vodka and fresh pineapple. Yummy! Danielle was also our server, and she was absolutely a pro. She gave honest recommendations and was accommodating when my boyfriend asked for the chicken on his salad to be cooked differently. She offered different preparations. The order went in and came out without a hitch. Our drinks never ran out, and she asked if we wanted dessert. We didn't because we were completely full. I make mention of this because I find it a bit annoying when a server fails to ask if we want dessert or anything else before bringing the check. It gives me a rushed feeling which you don't want when you're at a sit-down restaurant. But on the bright side, it makes it easy to determine the tip at the end! We ordered the Grilled Chicken & Strawberry Salad and Shaved Prime Rib Sandwich. Both were delicious and satisfying, especially because we shared our meals with each other and it made for a nicely balanced meal. We had no problem rounding up and leaving what turned out to be a 28% tip. My only issue was the cleanliness of the table. There were food bits and it had the stench of having been wiped down with a wet cloth that had been sitting around for a while. Not appetizing. read more

There was around a thirty minute wait to eat here on a Saturday night but that's to be expected and is not a fault of the restaurant, just of our strong societal desire to go out to eat on the weekends. Because of the wait we decided to sit at the bar which is a good option and although it took our waitress a few minutes to notice us once she did she was quite attentive. The reason I wasn't satisfied with my meal is because of the extremely high food to price ratio. I got the Parmesan crusted chicken which was $15.99 and while I did get two decent supposedly 6 oz. pieces of chicken, french fries, a salad, and bread, the food was not nearly worth it. The salad was not completely fresh, the fries were slightly cold, and if I wanted to I could melt cheese and put bread crumbs on grilled chicken. If you're a steak-eating carnivore you may enjoy this place more than I did as someone who only eats chicken and an occasional piece of fish but to me it's overrated and is way overpriced for the taste of the food you get which is pretty generic and nothing even overtly special that warrants the premium prices you'll pay if you eat here. read more

Note, I saw this guy standing around who I thought was the manager but he did not have anything on him that said he worked at longhorn, turns out later he came over to ask if everything was alright, still not identifying himself. I don't know who he was. People sat down after us were served long before we got our meal. I Would not suggest eating here. During the recent pandemic I attempted to order food over the phone. The first attempt, I waited 8 minutes on hold and never spoke with the bartender. After hanging up and calling back I waited 6 minutes and again, never spoke with the bartender. I called again, and was still on hold when I pulled into the parking lot. Still on hold when I walked into an empty bar, and sat in a stool all alone at the bar top. The bartender was typing something on the computer and then took my order. I ordered an item with chili and was told that they have no chili. Finally, after a very serious effort, I gave up and decided that I would find something else to eat. As I was walking out the bartender shouted at me from across the restaurant that they "will not have any chili while they have a limited menu", with a snide, sneer tone. It was very unprofessional. I didn't mention how unbelievably frustrating it was to attempt to unsuccessfully make an order on the phone, I didn't mention how I had driven all the way there just to be told that the item I wanted could not be prepared, still this bartender, tending the loneliest bar in town found the time to be rude and unwelcoming. If I had any suggestion to remedy the issue, perhaps develop a more efficient way for people to order to go food, or don't offer it at all. I'll just make a sandwich next time. read more
