Don't be fooled by the outside of this place as it's in a very tiny strip mall. It's so unassuming, just like its original place in the Hamilton Mall. But foreal- 10/10 one of the best sushi in the area with rolls that are actually unique and taste good. I wish I could eat here every day. Takeout is pretty quick as long as you don't call during the heavy lunch or dinner hours.

I'm still so disappointed after giving this place another try. I thought the sushi burrito would've looked like the photos posted on here but I didn't realize that was over 8years ago since that was posted. The taste was like the ingredients were old and just not like how the sushi burritos used to be you can see by the picture. No wasabi, no ginger, no sauce just disappointment.

If you come here, you must try the sushi burrito! The portion size is huge for the cheap price of $6.99. It is extremely filling, delicious, and a quick meal. I have also had some of their regular sushi rolls which always tasted fresh. The location itself is very clean and set up like a sushi bar. Although mainly takeout, there is some seating available that can get crowded around noon. Nonetheless, I went here quite a lot for lunch in the summer and the owners were always so nice to me. Overall would definitely recommend this place for some great and affordable sushi!

My favorite place to eat if I'm craving sushi! They have the best sushi burrito in town. Also they have an option where you can choose brown rice instead of white rice. The staff there are very friendly.

Sushi combo #5... Minus one piece of the salmon-avo roll, oops!

For local, to-go sushi, Ichiban is fantastic. Fresh tuna, smartly spiced. Salmon was on point, too.

Perhaps it had the same ambiance when I did my prior review but today I noticed that it's not a pleasant eating experience if cardboard boxes filled with sushi trays and food containers are your dining neighbors. The lunch special comes with a "salad" and ginger dressing. The green leaves were limited yet cold and crisp but the dressing when added to the "salad" left a watery pool once the few lettuce leaves were consumed. My two rolls were a bit "chewy" and far from the best I have enjoyed. The soy sauce presented in another plastic cup (Sushi Town offers everything but the chopsticks in plastic.) was grainy and dreadful. Why not have a name brand bottle of soy out on each of your two tables? As I left I picked up my plastic water bottle ....smiled at the very nice people who run the place ... forgetting to say goodbye to my cardboard lunchtime neighbors.

There are several lunch options at reasonable prices and I chose the TUNA SPECIAL, which gave me tuna two ways, miso soup, and a salad. Remember my comment about the temperature? Well the Miso soup was not hot enough to warm my belly and it needed to be stirred but it had a good flavor. It was a classic lettuce salad but the dressing was a mound of flavoring rather than a liquid dressing. It was different but tasty and I appreciated my salad not being drenched in a watery substance. I am a bit of a picky roll conneisseur. It is sushi after all ... presentation matters including knife cuts. My lunch was placed in front of me with two rolls falling apart before a chop stick touched them. The tuna was fresh. The wait staff checked on me while I ate so that was a plus too!! This place ain't half bad!…read more Decent quality for the price. I was the type of customer buffets fear tonight. I ate more plates of food than I'm willing to admit online lol. They have nigiri, sushi rolls, all kinds of fried asian foods, soups, tons of main dishes, oysters, crab legs, hot pot, ramen, desserts...it's kind of insane really. Was it the best versions of these foods I've ever had? No, but there's quite a lot to pick from here and I definitely feel like I got way more than my $36 worth. As for ambiance, it's a former Golden Corral location and set up pretty much exactly the same. If you're looking to eat an obnoxious smorgasbord of asian food, this place hits the spot without breaking the bank.

I've been to several Japanese sushi and seafood buffets before and can say without a doubt, this was the worst. Sushi rolls were mediocre, like supermarket sushi rolls on discount day. I was expecting more. This was the only item that was passable. The Chinese side of it was terrible. Cold seafood, when it's supposed to be hot. Duck that was cold and bony/fat and should have been warm and better tasting. The spare ribs were dry, like hours on the line and everyone avoided it. Soups were bland, and warm. The hot and sour was the worst one I tasted in the last 30 years. No oysters. No crab legs. Desserts were pretty much all frozen and nondescript. I had the chocolate cupmice cream and it was ok. On a positive note, the service was good, as they cleaned off old plates, and refilled drinks when asked. So, bottom line. One star for the food.

The food itself was cooked well, but the experience just didn't hit the way hibachi usually does. The chef was kind of flat, no real energy or entertainment, which honestly is half the fun when you go for hibachi. No swallowing sake, no catching veggies in our mouths... it just felt very toned down. My kids were also visibly unimpressed, which says a lot. Food wise, I was a little disappointed there were no noodles included, and I noticed the person next to me got a noticeably bigger portion of rice than I did. Not a huge deal since I'm cutting carbs anyway, but still something you notice. I did still pass him a $20 tip because the chef did cook everything properly, even if the vibe wasn't there. (Please be aware to tip your hibachi chef separately from the server!) My sister tried a few things too and said the avocado rolls were actually really fresh and stood out. She also got shrimp and filet mignon hibachi and felt it was decent overall, just underwhelming. She mentioned the dessert situation was odd too, which I agree, only plain cheesecake on display that didn't look too appealing. I'd would have liked some fried matcha icecream or something dang. Service was okay but there was a bit of a language barrier with the waitress which made communication a little tricky. The interior also felt pretty minimal and not very decorated, which added to the lack of atmosphere. Overall, it wasn't bad, just very average. I'm used to hibachi in NY and CT where the experience is way more lively and engaging. If I'm in the area again, I wouldn't go back.
