Haven't been in 2 years and it was great to come back. The place itself is still as cozy as I remember. My wife and I sat at a nice two person table in a little nook looking out the window. Very nice and quiet. For an appetizer we ordered the Shrimp Spring Rolls that came with a sweet and sour sauce. They were delicious, nice and crunchy. The sauce was good also. For our dinners we ordered the Red and Yellow Curry and decided to split each one. The servers brought out our rice in a heart shaped design which was adorable. Both of the curries were excellent. Very good taste with a mild spice on them. The spice level can be adjusted. The service this time was excellent. The person who took our order was very friendly and the server was there to provide our meal and take away the dirty dishes promptly. I also love the fact that you can pay on a machine with your credit card at the end which makes the transaction fast and easy. I only wish this restaurant was closer. read more

Went with my parents, on Halloween night . We were the only people there at 5pm but a few more came in after that. They have parking. Staff are friendly. It's BYOB but they can give you wine glasses. We started with the veggie egg rolls which I didn't feel much flavor there and the Roti with peanut sauce. I like Roti in Malaysian restaurant but this is my first time having it in Thai restaurant. It was tasty if not a bit oily but I'm used to having it with curry dipping sauce instead of peanut. Mains I got Tofu Panang Curry which had a nice flavor, I finished all of mine . My Dad got Pad Thai with beef which he liked and my Mom got Honey Duck which I think she had before and they both enjoy this restaurant. I think the curry was a bit mild but in this area probably most people want it like that. Very chill spot . read more

3.5 Wonderful dinner with family enjoying a delicious Thai meal. Started off with the fried calamari which wasn't the best while I did enjoy the dumplings. Dinner started off with the shrimp drunken noodles which was by far the best dish of the evening. Followed by chicken pad Thai which was good but felt like i was eating mostly Bean sprouts. I did not try the soft shell crab but was told it has good flavor but overly breaded. The duck came last to the table which was a wonderful way to end the meal. Crispy skin full of flavor, tender meat in a light but fabulous sauce. Would definitely go back for the drunken noodles and duck while being willing to try other dishes. read more

Food is outstanding! Have had numerous of the Thai curries, as well as the Dan Dan noodles. All of which have been delicious. Their peanut sauce is pretty good too. Staff is all greatly friendly. Environment is nice and gives off good energy. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is beings the wastefulness in the plastic to-go containers used and fact they still used styrofoam which are no teeth bad for the environment. There are tons of decomposable containers available now so I hope to see them in the near future at which point my rating will become 5/5. read more

It's a mediocre Thai place with a bunch of good yelp reviews. Maybe it was a bad day . They are certainly very nice and fast, we did take out. I did go inside, much smaller than I imagined , clean but not conducive to a long relaxing meal. Ordered pad Thai , chicken satay and roti (bread). The pad that was pretty average tasting to slightly below. However they prepared it as requested. Noodles are just a bit mushy and tasteless. The amount you get for what you pay seemed reasonable. The chicken satay was odd in texture and presentation. It's a plastic bowl filled with diced chicken. I don't know how they prepared it but it definitely isn't grilled and since it's diced it's kind of dry. They do give you a lot of it. Roti was crazy. Roti was a minuscule amount and what was there tasted and looked like tiny fried wonton skins . It was an absolute waste of money. If you want that food decent place but I think you need to stick with the pad Thai read more

My partner and I came here as a last hoorah before concluding our vacation in Ocean City. We couldn't have made a better choice. After a long day in the sun our curry and drunken noodles hit the spot! We ordered the lettuce wraps with chicken as an appetizer and it was delicious! The crisp cold lettuce with the savory, hot, minced chicken and veggies was very refreshing. My partner ordered the Khao Soi (yellow curry) which was delightful! The noodles were reminiscent of spaghetti noodles which was fun - and the curry itself was creamy and zesty - exactly what we were looking for. I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and everything about it was cooked to perfection. I order the drunken noodles at most Thai places I've been to - and these were by far the best. The veggies were pristine and very fresh and the chicken was savory and juicy. The place was clean, service was friendly and the place was busy the whole time we were there. Great service from the young woman who runs the restaurant's takeout as well as waits on all the tables, she was helpful in describing different entrees and helped make sure we had a good experience for our first time at this restaurant. The facility itself is clean and comfortable and worth a second visit. Unfortunately we liked the appetizers (vegetable spring rolls and steamed dumplings) much better than our entrees, the ginger chicken and pad Thai with beef. I stopped by Chaba to get my weekly dose if Thai food. If you come during the day, try to sit by the window if you can, the space gets a lot of great light. We started off with the veggie spring rolls and the tempura calamari. I actually don't love calamari but I found the tempura delicious. The spring rolls were also really tasty. Both came with sweet and sour sauce. For our mains, we ordered red and green curries. Both are really well done but the red is a tad sweeter. Keep this in mind if you want spicier curry. We asked for a high spice level on both and they delivered just the right amount. The service was really fast and the staff is warm and friendly. The prices are also really reasonable. read more

Loved this place!!!! We were going to do takeout but decided to dine in since there was no wait. I got the padsawee (EN 43 I think), regardless it was delicious and filled with veggies. My boyfriend got a beef dish that has fried wonton noodles and he loved it, liked the bowl clean. We started with coconut shrimp which were also very tasted. Ordered from Doordash while in Ocean City, NJ, and luckily they were able to deliver to us within our radius cause within Ocean City there are pretty limited options when you want Asian food. It was a Tuesday and apparently the other decent Asian restaurant, Fusion Plate, was closed that day and we weren't in the mood for typical Chinese food around there. Overall, the order was amazing, the duck was really crispy, pad thai is well, pad thai. Everything was solid for a Thai restaurant, probably comparable to the Philly area. Only thing peculiar was the satay was not on a stick and separated individually, oh well, no one's perfect. Would definitely recommend to go out of your way if you're craving Thai food. read more

I've only ever took take out from here but the food is AMAZING. I think it's the best thai in the area. Its worth the 30 minute drive for me to get it. My go to noodle dishes are the Drunken Noodle and Pad See-ew. I'm not the biggest fan of coconut but their Red Curry and Green Curry have just enough to not over power the dish. Took my wife out for Thai food. She has only ate Thai once before with me at Pankok Thai in China town, Philly. We had home made Roti with a peanut sauce and drinks. Food was banging. Went into Chaba Thai at 8:10pm on a Wednesday restaurant closed at 9:30pm not a lot of business. Took waitress almost 30 minutes after being seated and left water to come out to my table. After they took my order things were very rushed. They asked me if we would like any desert they were ready to close the kitchen. We just got our dinner !. Food was below good quality. I had shrimp in a coconut sauce It was suppose to come with a nest of fried noodles But was flat and stuck together like a pancake. It looks like the fried noodles were cooked in a fryer laid something on top like another fryer basket to rush it up. The fried noodles should of been fluffy like a nest on top. It probably would have been good if made right with that crunchy nest of fried noodle on top of sauce. instead i got this giant noodle waffle you had to break up in chunks with you hands. It hard was hard and had to soak it in sauce for a while to soften it up. barely edible.! Shrimp tasted like a sponge and very transparent not opaque. The Shrimp were 21-25 count i expected maybe a 16-20. They were like cheap IQF Aldis quality. Edible but very poor quality for the price. My wifes Pad Thai sliced chicken tasted like it was boiled or microwaved. Chicken was very chewy with fowl flavor no seasoning. You can tell the chicken was not browned like it should be if cooked in a wok.. Its a shame place had very good reviews and i was was excided to go and eat there. Never go back. Gave it 2 stars because the spring rolls were good but peanut sauce was ok. read more

Prices on Chaba's website are not accurate. I paid $14 more than anticipated, but that doesn't even include the service charge that they slapped onto the takeout bill. Expect to pay more than the prices advertised. Coconut shrimp and spring rolls were burnt. Pad Thai was overly sweet. read more
