I've had ramen in Scarsdale with a clear veg broth, topped with crispy tofu, grilled tomato slices, Napa cabbage and other grilled veg. So getting an all-veg broth with a splash of coconut cream to mimic pork broth here wasn't what I expected. Getting an all-clear veg broth here isn't an option either- but what's important is we were assured it's a herbi-broth that's used. The kimchi, bamboo shoots and shredded cabbage toppings were nice- but I opted out of the vegan chashu instantly. Again, I was assured it's vegan- but no thank you. Wife's ramen had even more watery broth - I think because she ordered the "wafu" broth style which menu claimed had no meat, and together with lean chicken meat without much fat, we both agreed it was tad bit boring.
