Ichiddo Ramen in Minnetonka was delicious. I really like the atmosphere. They have big windows that let in natural lighting and the light color wood really opens up the space. I went here with my husband for lunch after going to iFly, which is next door. I ordered the char-siu ramen; the broth was rich, flavorful, and definitely filling. My husband and I also shared chicken kara-age, which were big, crispy, and golden chicken pieces. We also shared a specialty roll, which was also very filling. (Minnetonka location is unique to offer sushi. The location that I usually go to is in Roseville and there are no sushi offered.) The service was very good. The waitress was professional and friendly. She checked on us right amount of times and even knew we were going to need boxes! We ordered a Chirashi bowl which included 6 different types of seafood sashimi (salmon, tuna, yellowtail, crab, shrimp, etc.) over rice. The quality was fantastic and the $23 bowl was delicious! It also included a small seaweed salad and a few veggies. We also ordered a Chef's Roll of Sex on the Beach ($19) which was a large soybean wrapped roll including shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, fresh tuna, salmon and avocado. It also was very good, yet we found it to be dry and overfilled as the roll was huge for a bite! We would have appreciated a bit more sauce on the top of the roll as well. This place is new, so the environment is modern and nice. It's nice for family dine out or meet up with friends! It's so close to Ridgedale mall, so it's a nice option after shopping. Parking is easy over there. They also have some pretty bonsai outside of the restaurant. That was cute! The service is pretty nice. Fast and welcoming. The sushi was excellent. I tried several of the usual rolls like Alaska and Philadelphia and they were very well done. I had a couple of the fancier rolls and they are quite a meal. The ramen is consistently spectacular & the boba tea surprised us because it was good! However I wasn't too crazy about the sushi. It was a spicy salmon roll so maybe next time I'll try a speciality roll. Dined here for lunch with a friend and had expedient and friendly service. Their menu offered sushi, fried rice and ramen dishes and we both went with Ramen. We've ordered out a few times and really enjoyed the food. We came on a Wednesday night for 2 and the restaurant was about half full. The ramen is great per usual, but was not hot when it got served and the sushi is extremely mediocre. Service was incredibly slow. Took about 15 minutes to order, another 30 minutes for our food to come, and 15 minutes again to get the check. They were extremely under staffed (only 1 person serving the entire restaurant, taking phone calls and doing carry out). The sushi chef was the one to bring the food and the bus boy was the one to take our check. Overall, it's a really nice and clean place, conveniently located, but unfortunately not quite worth taking over an hour and a half for a quick meal like ramen. Hoping this was just a one-off given the holiday week, because there aren't too many good ramen places around. read more

I went one night to get Ramen (and the mango milk drink) and it was fantastic. We wanted to get Sushi the next night so we went back and got Sushi. I got extreme digestive stress (word choices to be less graphic) around 3 am. I was riding the porcelain pony for the rest of the night and the next day. I was on a business trip and this prevented me from being able to go into the office. I don't know if it was the Sushi that was bad or the tapioca pearls in my drink that were bad but SOMETHING was bad. I'd go back for ramen, I would NOT go back for Sushi. read more
