The curry was one of the worst tasting, and gave me an upset stomach. The spicy karaage came out wrong completely and they wouldn't admit it. The volcano ramen meats were still cold when it came out. Tons of fun animated Japanese arts and comics fill the walls and add a cool energy to the place. For a smaller place they have a huge menu I wasn't expecting! I only tried the classic chicken ramen, it was good. I liked it overall, I think I like my ramen a little bit more salty but for those who do not love extra saltiness, might be right up your alley. Tucked a block south of the Southtown shopping center in Bloomington, this little noddle shop has Donburi (white rice bowls) in addition to six ramen options. You can add extra toppings to your bowl for 1.95 or extra meat for 3.95. The noodle to broth ratio in the ramen was high and the broth was flavorful and well rounded. You order and pay at a counter and the food is brought out to you. The service was quick and friendly and the wait staff even stopped and asked if we were happy with your meal. You have to order at the counter and then someone will bring your food to you. My meal came out very fast, I would say less than 10 mins. The atmosphere is very quiet and not as busy as I would thought during lunch time. The decor is very cute. The only thing is you must beware of the water cup because they write the name of the restaurant in permanent marker so it WILL rub off on your fingers. Portion wise they put a lot of ramen but not enough broth in my opinion. The spicy miso didn't have spice to it at all, egg was just a tad bit over cooked.
