Super Duper amazing! Tenka Ramen noodles are the best most authentic and delicious in Minneapolis.

Stand up and salute (bow) the finest Ramen restaurant you'll ever find in the United. Highly recommend. Very friendly workers. Very clean, hospitable environment. Bathrooms are excellent. Parking is available on the street, or there are some public ramps nearby. Also, there's lots of public transportation, buses, and stuff. This is a must have if you're in uptown or going around the lakes. I particularly enjoy hot Ramen on a cold blustery winter w

Wow this place hit the spot! This is probably my favorite ramen place I've had in Minneapolis. Tenka is so excellent! It's a cozy spot, and their decor is amazing. They were really quick in bringing out our food as well! We got the vegetarian spring rolls, gyoza, and we each tried our own unique bowls of ramen. We were all impressed! The egg in the ramen was so good and marinated, I think I'll add that to my bowl every time from now on! The service was friendly and so efficient. Plenty of vegetarian options. We had a movie to get to and we had more than enough time. Absolutely bringing friends to this place in the future. Excellent!

One of my favorite places for ramen in the twin cities. Broth is great, but not as rich as some which some will prefer, others not so much. Is it perfect? Nope, but it is better than most.

Our son liked the ramen too!

This is a small restaurant but the service is great. We really liked the ramen and their chicken buns. There are fun decorations and art all around the restaurant. Parking was a bit tricky as it's street parking. But overall we had a great experience here even with our young son along for the meal.

The noodles and other items in the ramen were good. I thought the broth at ramen kazama was a bit better than this place. The service is friendly. It's a very small and cozy restaurant.

Came after visiting the dentist as it was right next door. Small business in a small strip mall off Lake St. some space for sitting but not for large groups. Smaller menu consisting mostly of ramen (duh) and a few apps and fried rice. The staff were very nice. I ordered just some shrimp fried rice and a fried chicken bun. It was ready within 5-6 minutes. She said she gave me some soy sauce in the bag just in case but didn't think I'd need it. Told me to just try the rice without. I indeed tried it with and without, not needed at all. Very flavorful with some eggs and veggies and enormous shrimp. Very happy with my selections. Will consider a ramen in the future.

First of all, holy cow, they are fast and efficient! I ordered delivery and it was at my door in like 20 minutes. My partner ate his ramen so fast I'm surprised he doesn't have whiplash! Very smart takeout packaging! They kept the broth separate and even used cardboard to stack everything in the bag securely! We ordered the Tonkotsu and Shoyu ramen, Takoyaki (octopus dumplings), and a bubble milk tea! The Shoyu was absolutely the best compared to another popular ramen spot! So salty and umami! The Tonkatsu was also delicious but not the best I've had. The octopus dumplings were super tasty and well balanced, not too fishy. If you're scared to try it, don't be! As for the bubble milk tea, yum! Not overly sweet, just right! I'll be back to test out the spicy miso and update my review! There is paid street parking nearby that's usually pretty open and accessible, and a parking ramp.

Their agedashi tofu is about the only thing that tasted pretty decent.

Every city I visit, I must have a good ramen before I leave. I chose tenka ramen based on their overall reviews and I was quite disappointed. A red flag went up immediately when I saw a sriracha sauce at every table - authentic Japanese ramen places do not give you sriracha sauce to enhance the ramen flavor because it does the opposite - it *offsets* the pork ramen broth flavors! As I predicted, their shoyu ramen was one of the worse I have had. I noticed right away that the broth was quite oily and that pork ramen broth flavor was very minimal. Chashu pork was about 7 out of 10 as it was a bit tougher than what I get at legit ramen places. Service was the only reason tenka earned a 3-star review from me. Even their taro bubble tea was awful - they use cheap taro milk powder. Clearly yelp reviewers that rated this place have not had much experience eating authentic ramen. Other reviewers that are authentic ramen lovers like me, avoid this place at all costs.

My top ramen place in the Twin Cities so far! Great pricing, great customer service, and great ramen! The only reason it is not a 5/5 is because I am a ramen connoisseur. Lets first talk about the pork chashu... delicious!! They whipped out a freaking torch and torched it themselves for the crispy outer layer. The soft boiled egg was also delicious and perfectly cooked. The only thing I wish that was a bit better was the broth. It wasn't the most flavorful and didn't feel rich in depth. But overall, a pretty solid ramen place in the cities!

Stopped by for lunch with some friends and had a great experience. I ordered the takoyaki and tonkotsu ramen--both were delicious! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The space has plenty of seating, though I can see it filling up quickly during busy times. Definitely worth the stop if you're in the area.

The broth seemed light and flavorful at first, but it ended being pretty salty after eating few bites of the ramen and kind of difficult to finish. If it weren't as salty, I would like the ramen much more. As for the potato salad, I liked how creamy it was. It tasted like a western potato salad with an Asian twist. The service was great! We asked to sit at Izakaya Kazama because we also ordered food there and there was AC. The staff kindly brought our ramen over! I would come back and try a different ramen. There may be better but I haven't found it. I had the tonkatsu ramen which is my go to. The broth is rich, lots of meat and other goodies. A bowl will fill you up. The menu is still pretty much as it always has been. Service is minimal, you order and pay at the counter or via OR code at your table and they bring you your food when it's ready so you don't get everything simultaneously but this isn't fine dining. Ambience is used furniture but this is a ramen joint so no problem. My main complaint is that the temperature inside is too hot. It was a mild day outside but sweltering inside. Still the food is worth it.

I just got the Classic Tonkotsu Ramen this time and I can say it's the best ramen I've hard in the Twin Cities so far. Delicious, deep, flavorful broth. Great noodles and pork. I would have preferred no sesame seeds but there's nothing to critique on this ramen. Quick service, not crowded. I tried the ice cream machine for a cup on the way out. They have no sea-food option either, and they only have one chicken ramen. Chicken wasn't properly grilled and it felt like I am eating raw chicken. The ramen noodles were also interesting in that they don't look like any of ramen noodles I had before. Broth is just pure MSG so I didn't even bother finishing the broth. Udon strips-fried was surprisingly very good. It was a bit oily but chicken in there was tasty. Good amount of bean sprouts and cabbages. They seem to have multiple options for udon stir-fried, so if you want a traditional ramen or even udon with broth, this is not the place for you.

The menu is limited. We got the Mapo tofu mazemen, which is this brothless ramen with a Mapo tofu blend, mushrooms, eggplant, tofu, and doubanjian blended together. I wish we could see some of the distinct ingredients alone besides the tofu as it was a bit too blended for me. I liked how unique this ramen was!! The chicken karaage basket had the most addicting trio of sauces - yuzu mayo, nori ranch; and honey mustard. The yuzu mayo was so light and citrusy, and I could practically drink the nori ranch. The fries were shoestring and perfectly crispy. The issue lies in the chicken karaage - it almost felt burnt, and it was quite dry inside. The chicken age gyoza were yummy.
