Food was ok for me but my wife loved it. She had the ichimi ramen and lychee juice which was good. But for me I had the seafood ramen I didn't like it not gonna lie. Service was great our servers bet over enthusiastic but cool. The guy kept forgetting we wanting a spoon. Ambiance was cool too it seemed new which it was. We recommend it.

Osaka Brickell: Extraordinary…read more My wife and I visited Osaka in Brickell, Miami, this evening--and I was so impressed that I rushed home to write this review. The Verdict In one word: extraordinary. We loved it. Restaurants often use the word "fusion" loosely, but at Osaka, it truly applies. The menu delivers Peruvian and Japanese fusion at its best: a thoughtful blend of South American and Japanese flavors, with each bite offering a beautifully engineered explosion of taste. Food The food is creative, beautifully presented, and genuinely unique--but Osaka offers much more than great dishes. Our server, Yesenia, guided us with recommendations that balanced our preferences with the restaurant's signature flavors, including a remarkably fresh sashimi amuse-bouche, Kiiro ceviche, a Hongos Teppan trumpet mushroom dish that was not listed on the menu, and a Nikkei Makimono that brought Peruvian flavors into a traditional sushi roll. The restaurant manager, Miki, also checked in during our meal. The service was casual, attentive, and perfect. Ambiance is paid to every detail. We ate at the sushi bar, but the main dining area was spectacular, and the bar area was sublime. Lastly, the music was a combination (fusion) of new age, Peruvian jungle music and Japanese sounds all blended into a crescendo on the experience. Try it....you'll love it. Ten out of ten !

All the food was rich and fresh, such classical cuts of fish and the quality is the main objective. Truly loved everything we got. The ambiance was more like a Saturday night with louder music but enough to still hear the person across from you. Very alive and upbeat indoors and outdoors, outside might be a tab bit chiller and calmer. Service was amazing, our server made sure to describe everything well and pair wine with it. Would mark celiac safe and recommend to anyone. We also got the crispy rice salmon and tuna and we think the salmon was better just nose clearing with the wasabi!

However, if your most expensive sushi roll is $29, and it's the only roll that comes with 5 pieces instead of 10 pieces, there should most definitely be a mention of that on the menu. While our other friends who ordered literally any other roll got a full size portion, it came as a shock to the table when those who ordered the truffle Maki roll received 5, small pieces. The spicy edamame was pretty good. The sauce wasn't just spicy, but tasty. The miso soup was good as well. For drinks, the espresso martini wasn't out of this world, it just tasted like every other espresso martini you'd get at any bar. Our waiter was pretty good considering we had a large party of 24 people. At first he seemed overwhelmed, but thankfully they were able to recognize that and gave him two extra hands to help with orders, drinks, and water refills. The restaurant aesthetic was cute and had a few nice backdrops for photos. However, good luck using the bathroom. The one women's toilet did not flush and was backed up completely with toilet paper. This forced us to use the one men's bathroom, which was also backed up, but not as bad as the women's. To wash your hands there was a small trickle of water. Seems like they have plumbing or pipe issues. Overall was decent, but I won't be back.

We ordered ahead of time, waited for quite some time. My husband drove all the way there, only to arrive home and realize that half our order was missing. Called them to complain, and they are taking off the missing items from our bill. The food we did receive was mediocre at best, honestly Publix does better than what we received tonight. The spicy tuna roll, one of our always staples, was just rice and tuna, no spicy mayo. Total disappointment. Waste of time, energy and money. They don't do delivery and we're certainly not driving back there, but I feel like in instances like this they should make it up to you. It's not about the money. It's about not having the food that you ordered and were excited to receive.

It is small, beautiful with open space, and intimate that you will enjoy very much. The music is piped in and is relaxing. They provide excellent service and show pride of ownership. We didn't have reservations but we were welcomed and even received the best seats in the house. Our server was Francisco, who has worked there a long time, was excellent! We chose the Oma Deluxe because we wanted the entire experience. Francisco explained each sushi and what part of the fish we were eating. Each dish was brought out separately. There were about 9 pieces of different cuts of fish. They were delicious! My daughter had Sake and I had Non-alcoholic beer. Both went fine with our meal. Afterwards, we were served dessert. What a great experience! Give it a try when you can. Later, we went upstairs to ASTRA restaurant and bar to further enjoy our evening with beautiful views of Miami. The atmosphere was really great, and the service was fine. Our issue was the sushi. We tried a lot of different nigiri's, sashimi, and handrolls: the only thing that we really enjoyed was the seared salmon; everything else was meh, with the chu-toro being particularly disappointing . I have had a good amount of chu-toro in my life and this had to be one of the poorest quality pieces ever....it essentially tasted exactly like regular ahi, without having any more discernable fat on it than a standard piece of tuna. A cool place to come and have drinks and/or the seared salmon. But as far as the rest of the sushi, I wouldn't come back for that.
