I don't usually do sushi places, because I'm not a fan of sushi in general, ((I know, I know, sue me)), but I went anyway because it was a family outing. I ended up trying the Hyoza appetizer and the Chicken Katsu as an entree. It was tasty and a good alternative. I also tried some of the Spdical fried rice that someone else at the table had ordered and enjoyed that as well. The service was good and so was the ambiance. They had a couple screens showing the AFC championship game so that was a plus. I feel like this place has been around for a while and is a mainstay in this area but thought I would share in case anybody was on the fence, like I was. There are ways to enjoy this restaurant even if you don't like Sushi. read more

I had a really good experience, the staff was friendly and helpful, making it easy to choose what to order. We order couple drinks, a Paloma wich was the best I've ever tried and Night in Kyoto the best take on a expresso martini ever. We started with a Rainbow Roll, Angel Roll and Gyozas, which was fresh and tasty. For the main, we had a Hibachi Steak, and it was delicious, fried rice was excellent like always. The food at Sushi Sake was good, but the service was honestly unacceptable. 1.My daughter asked for salad dressing and it never came. Another waiter eventually took her salad to add the dressing, but she waited over 20 minutes and received her food after everyone else. 2.That fork fell onto a chair where people sit. yet the server picked it up and put it back on the table. That is completely unacceptable. This is not fast food-basic sanitation should be understood. 3.Our server never came back to check on us. We had no water and waited another 20 minutes before I had to ask a different waiter because we were very thirsty for water. When the server finally returned about 15 minutes later and asked how everything was, she said, "I heard you needed water." I replied, "Don't you think that's a little late for that ?" Her excuse was that she was inside with takeout orders , which is concerning. If that's the case, she should remain in the kitchen, not serving tables. Unfortunately, because of the service, I would not return unless the servers receive proper training. The food was great, but the service completely fell short. read more

I ordered the salmon teriyaki via their phone number and had it delivered to my house. This is what came. The price is $25. This is a joke and don't really think I need to say much more as the pictures speak for themselves. They put a crap load of rice to make up for the lack of salmon and it's actually disgusting to say the least. They expect you to swallow a bunch of dry rice with a small amount of sauce (as the extra sauce you see on the side I had to ask for and pay for). This is my last time ordering this trash. The place should be shut down just like Bonsai next to Ferguson was. Repulsive, low quality and quantity. Only reason I give it two stars is because the sauce taste good. Edit: I had to edit this review as soon as I went to eat it because the sauce I PAID EXTRA FOR was coagulated and was not a sauce what so ever lol. My gosh I am dropping it to one star. read more
