I got a Virgin Pina Colada, MIAMI HEAT ROLL, and a Fish Katsu. Honestly, this is one of the best sushi sake locations I've been at. The ambiance is nice, along with the silverware. The Pina Colada is well made, one of the best I've tried so far. Moreover, their menu choices are very good, and so was the service. I'd definitely recommend!

Food is always good. What hurts is the staff for the pick up orders. Posted for 10 mins without being acknowledge.. I took the food to go to beach and it did a take a bit for me to get there so that's why the avocado is a little dark.

Great experience! Food was amazing! And our server Angela went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and gave great suggestions. Highly recommend!

I had a really good experience, the staff was friendly and helpful, making it easy to choose what to order. We order couple drinks, a Paloma wich was the best I've ever tried and Night in Kyoto the best take on a expresso martini ever. We started with a Rainbow Roll, Angel Roll and Gyozas, which was fresh and tasty. For the main, we had a Hibachi Steak, and it was delicious, fried rice was excellent like always. The flavors were spot on, and the presentation looked great. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place if you're craving good Japanese food. I'll be coming back for sure!.

Waiter made me wait 30 mins for the bill, food was good but never returning, it was the waiter with the funky pink baby foot earrings.

We placed an order from here from Uber eats and the food came warm , portion sizes are perfect, and it came on time. I'm very picky with ordering out sushi and this is a 10 out of 10. Great service!

It is small, beautiful with open space, and intimate that you will enjoy very much. The music is piped in and is relaxing. They provide excellent service and show pride of ownership. We didn't have reservations but we were welcomed and even received the best seats in the house. Our server was Francisco, who has worked there a long time, was excellent! We chose the Oma Deluxe because we wanted the entire experience. Francisco explained each sushi and what part of the fish we were eating. Each dish was brought out separately. There were about 9 pieces of different cuts of fish. They were delicious! My daughter had Sake and I had Non-alcoholic beer. Both went fine with our meal. Afterwards, we were served dessert. What a great experience! Give it a try when you can. Later, we went upstairs to ASTRA restaurant and bar to further enjoy our evening with beautiful views of Miami. Parking is mostly limited street parking though, so plan ahead. This spot is more about curated tastings, sashimi, nigiri, and handrolls rather than specialty rolls, so don't expect a huge roll menu. We ordered the sashimi assortment, white fish tasting, seared salmon, bluefin tuna tasting, unagi foie gras, and a few handrolls including blue crab and negi toro. Everything tasted super fresh and flavorful, especially the bluefin and unagi foie gras. Portions are on the lighter side though, so we left satisfied but not totally full. Cedrick was awesome and really made the experience better. He knew the menu inside and out and explained everything perfectly. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Wynwood and want quality sushi without the overly trendy vibe.

All the food was rich and fresh, such classical cuts of fish and the quality is the main objective. Truly loved everything we got. The ambiance was more like a Saturday night with louder music but enough to still hear the person across from you. Very alive and upbeat indoors and outdoors, outside might be a tab bit chiller and calmer. Service was amazing, our server made sure to describe everything well and pair wine with it. Would mark celiac safe and recommend to anyone. We also got the crispy rice salmon and tuna and we think the salmon was better just nose clearing with the wasabi!

However, if your most expensive sushi roll is $29, and it's the only roll that comes with 5 pieces instead of 10 pieces, there should most definitely be a mention of that on the menu. While our other friends who ordered literally any other roll got a full size portion, it came as a shock to the table when those who ordered the truffle Maki roll received 5, small pieces. The spicy edamame was pretty good. The sauce wasn't just spicy, but tasty. The miso soup was good as well. For drinks, the espresso martini wasn't out of this world, it just tasted like every other espresso martini you'd get at any bar. Our waiter was pretty good considering we had a large party of 24 people. At first he seemed overwhelmed, but thankfully they were able to recognize that and gave him two extra hands to help with orders, drinks, and water refills. The restaurant aesthetic was cute and had a few nice backdrops for photos. However, good luck using the bathroom. The one women's toilet did not flush and was backed up completely with toilet paper. This forced us to use the one men's bathroom, which was also backed up, but not as bad as the women's. To wash your hands there was a small trickle of water. Seems like they have plumbing or pipe issues. Overall was decent, but I won't be back.

The hovering over people in this tiny, little whole in the wall restaurant felt overwhelming. I started to lose my patience being that there is so much staff standing around and found myself several times having to pour my own wine bottle. 2nd, I told them it was my son's birthday and nobody went out of their way to make his birthday special! And just a fair warning, you will spend over a $1000 dollars and walk out of there still very hungry! What a disappointment! Furthermore, they price gouge people trying to pass off as if his restaurant is Michelin worthy! An absolute joke! And here's the "best part" when I tried to voice my concerns, I was told to leave! I was very polite and instead of hearing me out, trying to make my experience better, I get told to leave! How disgusting! Please don't come here. Most memorable were the clam broth, beef loin and carrots, and the fatty tuna nigiri with caviar on top. The fatty tuna nigiri with caviar was the main reason I wanted the tasting! There is an à la carte menu too, but it was a lot easier just letting the chefs portion out our meal. Would definitely check them out and enjoy a superb evening out!

The interior is dim and clubby, and the seating was comfortable. Our server had someone from the Miami Beach location training with her, so we had some extra attention. We started with a round of cocktails and since this meal took place approximately a month ago, I can't remember what we ordered, but we were all pleased! Off the spice menu, we had both karagee starters (chicken and shrimp). Three of us had the hama kama for the main, and Larry had the pork belly. We also ordered 2 each of the desserts (fried milk sundae and matcha cake) The food was all very good. We took a pass on ordering sake due to the wild markup on their sake menu. When all was said and done, the bill came to $500 for four people with tax and tip and while the service was certainly friendly, it was not remotely professional. The food did not all come out at the same time. Larry had to wait until the rest of us were almost finished with the mains before his pork belly came to the table. The starters were also not brought out together (although there was a less of a wait for all of the plates to arrive). They also brought out the wrong desserts (3 of one kind instead of 2 and 2). Are these major dealbreakers? Of course not and I feel a little silly typing it out; however, eating at Uchi is not an everyday experience (for most of us!) and when spending this much, I don't think it's asking too much for the service to be on point. At least there wasn't the typical waitstaff beg for even more tip since they don't auto gratuity.
