    Locker room

A calming space for hot yoga. Leave your shoes & coat by the door and check in at the front desk. From there wander into the space. There is a small dimly lit meditation room where you can close the door and practice while seated on a cushion. The locker room has a few toilets and showers. They also have lockers for your belongings. I think there is a hair dryer too. The yoga room is large and is hotter as you get closer to the front. They provide mats and yoga blocks for class. I found the class challenging and definitely sore next day. Classes can be pricey (I think $30-40 per class?), but a nice treat once in a while. They may offer packages too. Located in a historic building, once you enter you'll take a spiral staircase up to the next level.

Love it here! First off, it is so great in the winter because it is so warm. The instructors are friendly and really do keep class accessible, offering a wide range of options during different times so everyone can flow at their own level. Bring a mat, they only let you use one for free during your first visit. Lockers are available, bring your own lock. Beautiful showers. Water bottle fill station. Towels. All the goods.

I even don't want to give them a star, the policy was based on conditional, the stuffs who work here are really bad, they said policy is can't join the class when class start but they still let people come in after class starts about 15min. And the girl who come to class the same time as me are also join the class successfully without any policy situation. I am not sure if this policy was only for Asian people. Totally racism stuff!Bad experience ever! Will never come again.

Kelly, Erin, Alex are my go-to instructors, but, seriously, every time I've taken a class there, no mater which teacher, they are on top of their game.

During our whirlwind of a weekend visiting NYC, my husband and I woke up on a Saturday morning and…read moredecided we could both use a little bit of yoga to start our day... We searched Yelp for a nearby studio with a class that was appealing and we found that this new Midtown East CPY studio had a Core Power Yoga 2 class that morning... we weren't sure we'd make it, and we walked in just a few minutes before the class started, but the ladies at the front desk worked with us to get us registered and into the class and we were so appreciative. Kelsea W was our teacher and she was fabulous... she had some unique sequences that allowed my mind to focus on the present moment and just move / enjoy the class. Needless to say, it was exactly what I needed! The studio itself is spacious, offers lockers, bathrooms, water refills, a bit of a retail store, mats, towels, and more... So yes, CPY is a chain, but it's consistent and if you find the right teacher / class, you'll get just what you need in that moment. Thanks again, Kelsea!

We've had the chance to take classes both in the mornings and evenings, and have likely practiced with most of their instructors at least once. The class schedule is great, and with our membership, booking spots for the high-demand classes isn't a hassle. We've had no trouble getting off the waitlist for early morning sessions either. All of the instructors have been friendly and excellent to work with, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Even when classes are full, the space doesn't feel too cramped, which makes for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We highly recommend this location!

It's a very spiritual focused studio but they also care deeply about the biomechanics and functional movement. I started going here for the Bikram and loved it every time because every week I would learn something new to improve my form and connect more deeply. Lately I've been more into the Meridian and Vinyasa classes which are not heated and less hot but challenge me in a different way with more inversions, some pressure points, and some new positions. The instructors are amazing and so down to earth. Highly recommend for a grounding and welcoming experience!

Also, and it is just my personal experience, the other practitioners seem to follow the same vibe as the people that work there; friendliness is a top down phenomenon. I've seen people of all body-types, all genders, all ages, and all races at Spiritlab. Everyone is accepted. The 26&2 teachers are top notch. There is not one bad teacher. I've learned helpful things from each and every one of them. I also took the 26&2 fall training last year and if you want to learn how to teach, it's a great experience. Spiritlab is like my second home and I feel that I am very lucky to be a part of it.
