What truly made our visit exceptional, however, was Nataly. Nataly's attention to detail is impeccable. She was meticulous, patient, and genuinely committed to making sure everything was perfect. You can immediately tell when someone takes pride in their craft, and Nataly absolutely does. What impressed me even more was the care she extended to my daughter. She was incredibly attentive, warm, and made her feel completely comfortable and special throughout the experience. That level of personalized service is something you don't always find, and it made our mother-daughter visit even more memorable. If you're anywhere near Miramar, put Toi Spa on your list and ask for Nataly. Nail Salon Review…read more Absolutely HORRIBLE experience. I'm honestly sitting here crying because I have never received service this bad in my 36 years of life. First, during my pedicure, the water was initially cold. The technician emptied it, refilled it, and told me it was hot. It was extremely hot--so hot that I now have blisters forming on both of my feet. This was completely unacceptable and extremely concerning. Second, once my pedicure was finished, I noticed she had not applied a top/gloss coat. Third, I specifically asked for black chrome nails. The technician told me she did not want to seal the chrome because "that's not how she does nails." I spoke with the manager, and only then did she buff my nails and completely start them over. Finally, I looked at my finished nails and was shocked. My two hands are completely different colors. One hand is solid black, while my right hand is silver chrome with a black base. This is NOT what I asked for, and the finished result looks completely inconsistent. The technician's name was Cynthia. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this nail technician based on my experience today. I came in expecting a simple, relaxing nail appointment and left extremely upset, disappointed, and with painful feet that are now blistering. This was, without a doubt, the worst nail service I have ever experienced.

However, we passed this nail salon, and I decided to take a chance on a walk in. Stopped in and yes, they could accommodate me right away. This place is quite busy with a lot of employees and nail stations. The gal who was going to do my nails brought over a color wheel of choices. And I found a color similar to the one I'd been using. In no time at all, the polish change occurred and I was sitting drying my nails in front of a small fan. She did a pretty good job. Although, anything would have been an improvement. Their prices are a few dollars more than what I am used to, but since it was a pre-holiday weekend, I didn't quibble. The gal doing my nails was efficient and professional, but didn't try to engage me in conversation -- I'm not sure of her English abilities even. In any case, I was glad I took a chance and stopped here. Exactly what I needed for a boost.

We landed on apres. The nail tech was rushing through the whole service and applied almost every tip on my left hand crooked. I asked him to fix it and I was able to fix most of them by filing but had to redo the whole application for my index finger. Upon further inspection I noticed the nail length on my left and right hands were way different so again I had to ask the tech to fix it. This whole time I'm waiting to see if my cuticles will be addressed but I didn't say anything because I've never had the service before and didn't know at what point it would be done in the process. The service ends and my cuticles weren't touched and I was so confused but at this point I had been there so long and felt like I was babysitting the tech the whole time (he seemed so annoyed with me but I don't want to nag and I'm sure he doesn't want to be nagged so some more attention to detail would've been appreciated) so I just wanted to leave. I go to the front and I asked if cuticle work wasn't included on services anymore. He informed me that it's an extra add-on I should've asked for because it's not typically included for any service besides regular manicure and gel manicure. So then I said they should let people know this if they're new to the service and then the front desk guy starts arguing with me about how I should have asked. How would I know to ask if that's typically the standard for most services? He continues to go back and forth with me (which is ridiculous and insane) and I eventually had to just cut him off and say can I just pay and leave I'm not going to argue with you anymore. So I paid and left really annoyed. As soon as I left I looked up if cuticle work is typically done with apres and IT IS. I'll attach the screenshot. If they're going to charge more for cuticle work whatever but you have to let people know if that's something specific to your salon. Overall super disappointing experience especially because this has been my all-time favorite nail salon for like 8 or 9 years. Even when I lived out of state, I made it a point to always come get my nails done here when I visited. I've recommended this place to countless people over the years and I'm honestly sad at the service and attitude I received today.

I came back today and it was a disappointing experience, to be generous. Mom and I had appointments and were not taken for about 50 minutes later. We were supposed to have the same nail technician because she did a great job last time. So I expected to be here longer than usual. The appointment center is in the Phillipines we found out today. It seems they book appointments with not enough time between each guest. I have never seen a nail salon where there is no receptionist AND no manager on duty. Last time I was here there were no other guests so I didn't even realize... Well, I ended up having two nail technicians. One for my hands and one for my feet. My nails look ok but not great. The lady who did my hands filed my thumb nail too short and now it hurts. The lady who did my pedicure got up three times during my pedicure to check a customer out, to handle an upset customer in another area and for an unknown other reason. I mean, I come here to relax. Instead I walked out unhappy and annoyed I came back here. Oh well, it won't happen again.

Her suite is beautiful and cozy, and she has so many color options to choose from! I love that she is in a single suite so I don't have to be around too many people and can relax during my time there. My favorite service is definitely her pedicures, because as someone who runs often I need a little TLC on my feet which she definitely provides. She also has a nice rewards card to have a discount on services after a certain amount of visits.
