My experience with IDC ended with a positive outcome. It started rocky as the instructions I gave to J.J. as to where to place the patch were not followed. This resulted in the shirt being stained with the adhesive from the patch after it was removed. Yesenia then took over and she helped to bring the project home. She did not charge me for the digitization of the new patch I created to cover over the stain on the shirt. The new patch produced by her was high quality, vibrant and was applied in the correct spot. Ultimately I was happy with the outcome and feel that I would trust them with another project in the future. I had quite a few Adidas jackets that needed to get embroidered and lettered. Neighboring embroidery places refused to work on jackets not purchased from them and said they couldn't match the color of the jacket. I'm so glad I found IDC. Gabby was not only able to get the embroidery color to match the jacket but also get chenille letter patches layered the way we wanted it. Gabby's FIL did an excellent job and the turn around time was also reasonable for the amount of work that went into each jacket. Went in to get a patch made on 3/31/25 and spoke with this guy who said that he was the owner. I wanted to say "player of the year southern section."Told him what I wanted and took notes and also gave him a sample picture of the idea. I asked him when the patch would be ready, and he said in a week and a half. So I asked if he was going to e-mail me a rendering to aprove, and he said if I do that, it's only going to push the delivery date back. He said that they had been doing this for 30+years. So I took his word for it and let him do his thing since he's got a lot of experience. So on 4/15/25, I get a call to pick up the patch. Pick up the patch, and there's misspelling on it, so I told them, and then they said they were going to fix it. Then in on 4/24/25, I get another call saying that it's ready. Pick up the patch and still some misspelling. Let them know that there's misspelling, and they say ok will fix it. On 5/1/25, I got another phone call saying it's ready. I got there, and they fixed the misspelling but decided to change the color of some of the lettering. Told them I only wanted the misspelling fixed, and the owner tried to blame one of the girls that I had talked to. He said he would fix it, so on 5/13/25, I got another call saying it's ready and they fixed the coloring on the letters but decided to change the color of the border. I told them it was wrong and asked to get it fixed, so they called me the next day and told me it was ready. After 4 times the 5th time, they got it right. Regarding the tone of voice it makes no sense to show up to a place where they have my expensive clothes ( and I have no receipt) and be rude or is it? So I live in Anaheim Hills, CA and had gotten my oldest son his letterman at a location in the city of Cypress that most people used in the county of Orange, but it seemed as if they became kind of rude throughout the years, and while I attempted to go in a few times they definitely did not want any new business due to the fact that I did talk to them and I did tell them that my son was graduating this year and that I knew that I had to go in and order everything and pay cash upfront or just money in general upfront because I needed it to be expedited and they told me that it would take four weeks... Now on yelp it shows that they close at five but when I called, they said they closed at four and then I asked if there were any openings for that following Saturday & they said they were completely booked but they would call me if they could squeeze me in and that never happened so I figured OK fine, I will go on Monday but then sitting down and thinking about everything. I decided to do my research and I found this place in Bellflower and I read their reviews and there were customers coming from 60 miles away because they were so customer service friendly so I decided to call and I spoke to Andrea and oh my gosh she was such a sweetheart. She took her time explaining everything to me. I was so excited about what the turnaround time was & she told me I was able to also pay for expediting, which I was totally OK with. I ended up making an appointment with her. I went in the following Monday, I came from Anaheim Hills all the way to Bellflower and she stayed completely kind and courteous and when I saw everyone there, I just loved the feel! They all seem like very kind and sweet "tías" working away like little busy bee's . It was so amazing to me because my family comes from Puerto Rico. My grandmother had four girls and six boys and all four girls got their dresses made by my grandmother and my mother as well would make my dresses to match little purses and to match the big bows in my hair, so it was a very nostalgic kind of feel for me, and they were just friendly and so upbeat and I really truly appreciated that so I ordered the Letterman. I should be picking it up either this Friday or this coming Monday and I can't wait to get it and I can't wait to see them all again. I highly recommend even if you have to drive a little bit more to check them out and see for yourself how welcoming they are and how at home you feel. I feel as if people don't know that they are out there and they're just going to the place in Cypress because they don't know of any other place so I hope that people do the research and see that there's actual other places that will actually pay attention to you & will actually be courteous to you and will be welcoming from the second you call to the second you walk in and place your order. We ordered our son's letterman jacket from IDC, this place was fantastic! They had never done a jacket from our son's high school however after showing a few pictures they were able to recreate the exact look of the schools normal provider. They even did custom embroidery for his schools mascot and graduation year. My other son has received his letter and we are definitely coming back for his. I had an unfortunate experience with IDC embroidery a few days ago. On November 19-20th I dropped off 3 of my son's brand new school jackets to get them embroidered, the lady at the counter asked me what I needed, made a design, took the jackets, my information and told me it was going to take them a week to get the job done and she will call me. I asked her if she needed anything from me because she said they charge $15 per item but didn't ask for any money and didn't give me proof of what I was dropping off, which made me feel uncomfortable because they're brand new clothes with price tags, but since I found them on yelp with good reviews and they had a good amount of customers at the location, I assumed I could trust them :( On December 02, I went to the store to ask the status of the clothes, a man took care of me, I explained the situation, just for him to get defensive and questioned me like I was lying. I said the lady told me one week, he said not possible we don't do that, it takes us two weeks, I said she didn't give me a receipt, he said I should have one, because they don't take anything w/o giving an invoice (which makes sense, but I STILL DIDNT GET ONE!!!), I told them I dropped off the jackets and mentioned my son's school name and he said they didn't have anything from that school, and started walking to a bag that was on the floor where he found my son's clothes, yes, like they were trash!!! While he was opening the bag I told him it was mine and described the clothes, I mentioned they still had the price tags and it was over $200 ($245 + tax actually),he found an invoice and said "you see? She did give you an invoice ... no she didn't ( I assume the lady realized she made a mistake or a lot of mistakes and eventually created an invoice with a different date). He went to the desk, said they don't take any items w/o paying first (wrong again, they took mines and thank God I didn't pay a penny)checked the computer, mentioned my name, found the design and said, I didn't go on the day I said, he said I went on the 22nd which is not possible because it was a Friday I work double shifts Thrusday- Sunday ‍ but I didn't want to give them that information so said from 22-2 it's 10 days not one week like the lady said, then he said "business days", then he goes "and it's $40 not $200( the lady said $45 but ok) . The guy was so concerned about talking back to me that he didn't listen when I said my clothes were worth more than $200, and he heard I owed them $200. All the time was just going back and forward with defensive comments, and non sense,he even said he was going to talk to the lady to know her version, are you kidding me???? I told them I don't know all the information because I don't work there, so I believed what the lady told me, and that his customer service is really bad, to what he responded "what's wrong with my customer service? I already told you I'm going to talk to the lady, I'm the owner, like talking to the lady was going to solve anything for me, he offered get the job done in two days and I said no, because I don't like the way you're treated me(and my clothes )and suddenly a very old man stands up from a sewing machine on the corner and I thought finally somebody was going to make sense BUT get this, the old man started defending the younger man, like he's 2 years old and telling me it was not his fault ( I never blamed anybody, just explained what happened)and he that was not wrong, that I was the talking to him in a bad way WTH??? I would never be rude to a baby lol, I started talking and the old man kept interrupting me, then the JR said "dad you're not helping", so I said "now everything makes sense like father like son, that's why he mistreats the customers, because he learned it from you" the old one walked away making faces and comments. I took my trash, I mean my clothes and JR sarcastically said "have a nice day" and guess what??? I did have a nice day because I found another embroidery place like 3 min away from them, amazing customer service, it'll take them 3 days to get the job done, they're very busy but they work with the customer and on top of that, they charge $10 per item, so I'll keep my fingers crossed and if anything goes wrong, at least I didn't pay to be mistreated... This business is owned by an elder couple. They were so friendly when my girlfriend and I went to take clothes we wanted stitched for Christmas presents. The site doesnt really say, but they do word stitching and its 5 dollars for 5 letters and 50 cents for any letter after. They had a huge selection of text. We also took it in right before the holidays and they said they could get it done in 24 hrs and we were shocked. When we got our clothes back the quality was fantastic. Ordered our sons High School Letterman jacket from here. We've never used them before and we weren't sure they could replicate the schools colors. With that said, We were VERY pleased with the outcome. Colors were spot on. They did the logo perfectly and every request was fulfilled flawlessly. The quality of the work from IDC Embroidery is the only reason they got even three stars... I dropped my items off on 03/27 and was given a 4-7 business day completion window. I called in on 04/11 and was told my item was on the machine right then and I would get a call when it was complete. Two days later (04/13) I received a call that my items were finally done. It wasn't like I was asking for a large or detailed embroidery, I wanted two bathrobes monogrammed with three 3-4" letters each. Not only was my item completed later than I expected, but the price quoted to me over the phone when I called in was increased by 50% when I arrived at the shop just two days later. I gave the person I spoke with on the phone an exact description of what I wanted including initials and size, I was quoted $12 per robe. When I arrived, went through the process of selecting the font and discussing placement I was then told that the cost was going to be $18 per item. I informed the person who was helping me of this and was told that the price I was quoted was a "basic starter price" that it was a minimum cost that the item "could" cost. Unfortunately, I was between a rock and a hard place and needed my items done and didn't have time to research and find out a new embroidery shop. I really should have reconsidered my decision when I arrived at IDC and when I began explaining to the young lady what I wanted her response was "I'm sorry, but what's a monogram?" read more

IDC must stand for "I Don't Care!" On 6/7 I made an appointment for today at 9 am with a young lady who answered the phone. I show up and no one was there. I left 2 voicemails, an email (since their greeting stayed best way to reach them is via email) and messages on their Facebook & Instagram pages. We decided to wait til 10 am since their hours state they open then. We waited til 10:15. No show & no response. The young lady who booked my appointment was well aware of how important the patches I wanted them to make was to me, explaining they are memorial patches in honor of my beloved only child. We drove out to Bellflower from South Pasadena area. I even checked to see if I missed a phone call, text or email from them informing me they wouldn't be available after all. Nothing. I guess an individual such as myself isn't worth their time and to hell with MY time & travel! Attached is proof of the time we arrived, left to find a Starbucks and returned to continue to wait, as well as their hours of operations for Saturdays which BTW is by APPOINTMENT ONLY! Four stars. Ordered hats with embroidery and patches on them and they delivered! They were good at returning emails/calls and made sure my order was exactly as wanted. Overall I would order from them again. I gave them four stars because their estimate changed after the initial quote which is a bummer but also because didn't apply the 10% yelp discount. Apparently it's only applicable if you tell them befor the initial estimate... this isn't specified on yelp. I also deducted a star because different payment amounts were requested and I had to correct them a couple times. read more

These past two years has been challenging for all of us, especially for small businesses.As a business owner and independent contractor I understand the difficulties of meeting certain expectations but still never to this day under delivered. This is what IDC embroidery lives by, by under delivering. My business partners were extremely patient given the current day circumstances but this review is necessary for for all of you to see. We've done business with them before and that first experience did not go so well. Long story short, one of the owners continued to lie saying we said this, but we had physical proof we didn't. We decided to give them a second chance but the experience was even worse. This business has a tendency to lie for some reason. Not only did our order take about two months, (50hats) but things were missing when we picked it our order. I emailed them 12/27/21 And til this day no one replied back to us. To summarize my negative review. The business recharged us for a digitized file that we already "paid" for, lost our hat inserts, and took way to long to embroider 50 hats. I had emailed them my images and font for a two piece patch I needed. They emailed me back stating no set up fee and it would be done by the 15th of august. I went and dropped off the deposit to get it started. I went in on the 15th and their excuses was that their machine was down and it would be ready the next day after 3pm. I went in the next day the guy was standing outside on the phone knowing I just walked in waiting for the second time. When he comes in he give me a bullshit excuse that his secretary did not communicate correctly with myself and him and that he should of charged me a $45 dollar set up for the image? First of she should of been clear from the start. Then I come to find out he just started and finished creating the image that same day. So that means 4 days ago nothing was done or even looked at!!!! She lied to me! This business is horseshit Now it's the 19th and he told me to come back today after 3pm. My gf is literally there as we speak picking up the patches. I come to find out he forgot about them again!!! He is making her wait another 30 minutes so he can cut them out yet he hasn't done them yet??? She tells me another set of customers came in and yelled at his incomplete order of hats.
