I grew up going here when it was Magic Waters but haven't been in probably a decade. We took our…read morekids this time and had a ton of fun. Here is what I noticed: The place was smaller than I remember (that seems to happen as I get older and larger), but doesn't mean it's small. It's a great size with a lot of different things to do for almost every age group from babies to adults. Since we have little ones we stayed in the kids area most of the time and our kids loved it. They have a big water playground with one of those huge buckets that dumps a waterfall every 5 minutes or so. I really want to go back sans kids and go on some of the adult slides because they've added a bunch and they look super fun. The lines aren't bad to get to anything (in fact we never waited for anything while we were here) so they do great crowd control. The wave pool in the center is a fun time too, and they also have a lazy river. The workers were all pleasant to us and the park was kept very clean. The kids area did need a little scrubbing of the floor (in the center of the playground floor, where there is standing water), but that was about it. I felt fine walking barefoot everywhere. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the high prices of the food and drinks. $12 for a kids dip n dots ice cream, $20 for one order of chicken fingers...these are ballpark or movie theater prices, maybe worse. That's the only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars to me. At least they provide a few umbrellas and picnic tables in the parking lot, so as long as you prepare and bring a lunch or meal with you, just go eat it in the parking lot and come back. The other nice thing is they stamp your hand upon exiting if you want to return, so it's very nice they allow going in and out if you need to. We got season passes this year (nice that they also get you into six flags as well) so I am looking forward to coming back again soon!

I was very disappointed with my visit this week. Many of the sections and slides were shut down…read more Staff is poorly trained (with the exception of the lifeguards). And the property is dirty and badly outdated. Do better Six Flags!

This is my favorite pool/mini-water park in the area, and we've been to a good 10-12 of them. For…read morestarters, the slides, rides and diving boards set Otter apart. They added two more tube/slide rides this year which gives them a total of four now. They also have two low dives and two short tube rides that accommodate any age. The smaller pool at the top of the hill is 5-6ft deep with three separate lap lanes. They also have a larger pool for the smaller kids that ranges from an inch of water to maybe 2ft, including a new side area where they've installed a water-basketball hoop. The yellow tube slide feeds into their lazy river, which can also be accessed without going on that ride. This one has been our favorite slide in the park since it opened. Otter has an abundance chaise lounge and low sitting chairs to camp out on. There's never a shortage. They also have a huge area of grass space if you want to throw blankets down. The fee here is about the same as every other water park in the area, but the amenities are far better at Otter. Last but not least, this place is always spotless clean. Several water parks in the area don't pick up trash very well, Otter makes this a priority. Enjoy!

We got there at 11:15 when there were that many people there yet and there was already a less than clean feel to it. The life guards were very good at reminding people to walk and be mindful but there were diapers and underwear on the floor that I'm sure people dropped but there were other questionable things along with very stained chairs.

We've been to the pool over a half dozen times since just moving in the end of last month. The…read morepools seem to be well maintained, as when we saw that they needed skimming, the guards got right to it! The stair rail needs some reinforcement and there is a leak in the women's bathroom that seems to have someone checking into. As for the Lifeguards, they do a good job which was evident on Friday night when their job was put to the test and a child's life was saved shortly after we left for the evening. For those who say, Guards are a waste of money, I for one as a parent, grandparent and former swim team member appreciate their service. We can't always have our eyes everywhere when it comes to our kids, of any age! There are still adults out there that don't know how to swim and some of then have children. It only takes a tablespoon of water to drown, a wrong move in a game of catch or whatever to lose your balance and be the victim. Lifeguards are money well spent!
