I was told the lifeguards vacuum the pool. Well, they do a terrible job, need training and a supervisor should be checking their work. Also, parents should be putting waterproof bandaids on their kids so they don't fall off. If a kid has a bad wound , they should not go in pool. The pool lifeguards do an excellent job of monitoring the safety of the members in the water. The pool needs to hire a maintenance attendant who can straighten up chairs, pick up garbage, enforce aquatic center rules , clean up snack area, etc

Viola helps me keep my water perfectly balanced and crystal clear. Even though they charge more for chemicals than you can get on the internet, you will actually spend less money because they will keep the water balanced better so you buy less chemicals. I recommend having your water tested weekly for best results. Mark is an expert in all things pool related. He recommends the best fix not the most profitable. He has never steered me wrong. The stair rail needs some reinforcement and there is a leak in the women's bathroom that seems to have someone checking into. As for the Lifeguards, they do a good job which was evident on Friday night when their job was put to the test and a child's life was saved shortly after we left for the evening. For those who say, Guards are a waste of money, I for one as a parent, grandparent and former swim team member appreciate their service. We can't always have our eyes everywhere when it comes to our kids, of any age! There are still adults out there that don't know how to swim and some of then have children. It only takes a tablespoon of water to drown, a wrong move in a game of catch or whatever to lose your balance and be the victim. Lifeguards are money well spent!

Besides the fact that it's super fun to have a pool filled only with people you know, it's even better when the lifeguards rock. The staff was so much fun. My friend's husband and I were having a very ridiculous diving board competition (more like who-could-land-the-worst competition) and the guards were all about joining in our laughter. They also shot water guns with the kids when they were off rotation. I'd like to give a giant shout-out to the staff. You people were perfection. Well done.
