Update: I hired Oliver with Olivers flooring (773) 587-7571 to work on my ugly old stair issue…read more Oliver removed the old crunchy carpet and we realized that the stairs were pretty old and had a lot of glue, paint, staples, nails etc. the best option would be to install new risers and treads, including replacing the landing. He also raised the landing as it was too low and removed the short railing. Oliver did such a fantastic job. My stairs look beautiful. Oliver was easy to work with, prompt, extremely detailed and kept a very clean site. He matched the stairs perfectly with the newly installed flooring in the rest of the house. I would highly recommend him for anyone's flooring needs. He is a perfectionist, takes a lot of pride in his work and is an overall nice person.
