He took extra effort to give me 4 different estimates for each of the options. While he was measuring the rooms, he also pointed out an electrical outlet issue that I hadn't seen! His team did a fantastic job throughout! They neatly and efficiently removed all the old nasty carpeting, installed the soundproofing layer, the engineered oak flooring, and all the baseboards and thresholds. They were so patient and considerate while I had 2 electricians working on the same day (not exactly ideal, but couldn't be avoided). The most impressive thing to me was their attention to detail and quality work. Even the baseboards were neatly cut to fit around the old radiator covers perfectly. They also do kitchens and other jobs, and I plan to call Danny again for future work.

The floors still look great even after a year of installation on the 3rd floor of a condo building. I continue to appreciate the workmanship of the details around the walls and finishes such as transitions to the new tile installed in kitchen, fireplace, and bathrooms. He does charge more than a few other quotes I received, but his rates reflect the quality of his work. He is very responsive and laid down all of the stain options I was looking at in 4 different rooms throughout my house so I could really see how the color looked in different lighting conditions. He was also able to seamlessly fill in all of the cracks in our floors making them look brand new and did the entire house in less than a week! Make sure you do your research on whether or not you want Synteko for your finish - we ended up going with a water-based finish since we have a dog and little babies crawling on our floors and didn't want to risk the toxins, but I would definitely trust Johnny with the finish if you're interested in it. Finally, about a month after moving in, one of our stair treads broke off and Johnny was able to come and replace it in a matter of days - he asked for the measurements ahead of time, so when he showed up at 8am, he already had the tread pre-cut and was done with everything within the hour. His work is truly phenomenal and I would recommend him for any hardwood needs you have!

Mr. Sherman got in contact with me immediately and showed up within a day to give me a feee estimate. He did the work beautifully, clearly explained the time needed and time needed for the floor to cure or set between each coat. After sanding, a dye stain of deep red was still visible in some cracks between boards in the eating area of the kitchen. He had warned me the stain might not be completely removed in the sanding. As we looked at it and I decided I wanted the two by three feet expanse removed and replaced, I felt no pressure either way from Mr. Sherman. I asked if he could do it and if he could get it done in the time frame. He said yes. AND THAT IS JUST WHAT HE DID! His original bid was the best and the added expense of the patch with new hardwood was minimal. He is courteous and went out of his way to meet the needs of this job from start to finish.
