If I could give negative stars, I would. This dental clinic was a complete nightmare from start to finish. What should've been a simple filling turned into a downward spiral of unnecessary and poorly executed procedures. Not only did they botch the original filling, but they had to repeatedly file my tooth down--so much so that by the time they were done, there was practically nothing left for the crown to hold onto. Unsurprisingly, the crown popped off within six months. With the damage now done and the tooth more compromised than ever, the default suggestion was--what else?--a root canal. Not a thorough discussion of options, not a second look at the real issue, just a straight referral. And wouldn't you know it, the root canal ended up developing an infection, ultimately leaving me with no choice but to have the tooth pulled entirely. This could've all been avoided with better care, better insight, and better priorities. My advice? Skip the conveyor-belt dentistry model and seek out a holistic dental provider--where imaging is more detailed, your concerns are actually discussed, and options beyond the almighty root canal are explored. You deserve better than what this place offers. read more

The staff is always extremely helpful and knowledgeable in any concerns that I have for me and my son who is 4 years old. A very friendly and inviting visit where the dentist and dental assistants were to sure to get us in a timely manner and also ensure that we were comfortable during our visit. It's hard finding a practice that accepts kids and adults and they're able to help both of us with all of our needs! Definitely recommend coming here! read more

We live in Sonoma Ranch and I've been in Medical for over 20 years Managing FQHC that has Dental. My family and I have BCBS as our Insurance Provider, which they are in Network with. Never in my life have I ever had such a horrible experience at a Dental practice. The equipment must be outdated because nothing was working and they rushed everything. The Dentist said I needed two cavities that required some fillings both on right side in which she attempted to do on 3/12/2024. I woke up the next morning in pain so I requested to revisit, today is 3/22/2024 and I'm in pain and cannot chew on my right side. I've reported this to my Insurance and also the proper channels. I do not recommend Ideal Dental to anyone just because it's New doesn't mean you will get good quality care. read more

I had a crown put in at this dentist in November 2023. The whole experience was horrible. Twice the crown did not fit. I felt like a guinea pig. On my second attempt at having the crown installed, the dentist even implied that the dentist who fitted me for the crown had done a bad job. Well, fast forward to December 2024, at a visit with a different dental company, I was told that the crown "is not placed right" and he suggested that I have it redone. So, after spending $600+ just last year, I'll have to pay again to have my tooth fixed after a botched job was done at Ideal Dental. read more

This practice has a very crappy management, and they don't care about customers. I was scheduled for a dental cleaning at 10:30am on 1/18/25. It was confirmed by email. I even had called the office on 1/18/25 before I drove to the office. There was an AI virtual staff picked up the phone and also confirmed my office visit time on that day. I spent an hour driving to the office, and the office was closed. No one was there. In the Google page, it still listed it is open on Saturday. If you don't want to see the patients, why scheduled me to drive a long way to your office. Or if you decided to cancel my schedule, you should have notified me beforehand, but I have not received any cancellation calls. You wasted my valuable time, energy, gas fees to drive to a closed office on a Saturday morning. This is very unprofessional and a poorly managed office. I have a lousy dental insurance, otherwise I would not have picked up this practice at all! Stay away from this practice if you can!!! read more

Intro. I've had both good and bad experiences here, but the bad outweighed the good and my wife and I decided to not return. The front staff disrespected my wife right in front of me, which is both unprofessional and rude. They also disrespected my wife directly, which combined means we won't return. Do the dentists realize their front staff are costing them customers? How many negative front staff reviews do they need to see before intervening? Part 1. My wife was in serious pain for two weeks after a temporary crown. During this time, she tried to pinpoint the source of the pain, whether it was the tooth or a prior bout with TMJ. She called them about the TMJ and they recommended a specialist, but before she could make the appointment, she realized the pain was clearly in the crown tooth and by now was unbearable. So I went in to secure an emergency root canal. One of the women said, "Well she tells us one story one time and another another time." Actually using present tense like she has some kind of repeat problem. About my wife. To my face. And she's been in pain for two weeks. So they scheduled her same day, but then added a snide, "She might have to wait a while." Part 2. My wife got the root canal, then returned for the permanent crown. She shows up at 7:45 for her 8:00 and walks inside in pouring rain. The staff tell her she has to wait in her car until closer to 8:00. In the pouring rain. A man walks inside five minutes later - he gets to stay. When she goes in at 7:55, he's in the waiting room by himself. So she couldn't have waited 10 minutes in an empty room instead of being forced back out into the rain? Conclusion. Here we are, living five minutes away, both older professionals, MBA and doctorate, with the best state insurance, ready to settle in with a long-term dentist who actually does good work. But no thanks to more disrespect, and a lack of simple human decency and basic manners. God forbid they exceed that low bar and actually have some compassion for folks who are hurting. read more

Dr Carroll is GREAT - she gets five stars! The other staff here are straight up ridiculous FOOLS and unprofessional and they do not listen to their patients requests and needs before, during, or while scheduling an appt. One hood rat with LONG LONG VERY LONG ghetto Nails (UNSANITARY) about ripped both my lips off and it was apparently her very first time ever to do a mouth X-ray - she had to be walked through the entire process. The male dentist is very unknowledgeable and was pretty I professional. These guys are obviously getting kick backs from Invisalign because no matter what you are here for they're pushing it hardcore down your throat. Get Dr. Carroll while you can before a real dentist scoops her up - she won't be at ideal dental very long - this is the motel 6 of low-budget dentistry. read more

Don't go here. I'm dealing with the effects of a bad root canal cap done here. They just want to make money and rushed me into several procedures that didn't need to be done. Then after my root canal they told me that 3 other molars needed root canals and tried to get me to schedule them right away. Luckily I have been to 2 other dentists since then (one to replace this one, the second because I moved) and they both said that was completely unnecessary. This is the absolute WORST dental experience I have ever had. I went in and had some work done, but the dentist drilled into my mouth THREE separate times when I stated I was not numb. The final time she had the nerve to yell at me for flinching. I decided to never go back, paid my bill, and thought I would be done with this excuse of an office forever, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I got a bill from them NINE months later for $1,100 (I had already paid 600 and was told insurance would cover the rest). I called to see what was up and come to find out they had filed the paperwork incorrectly and had been going back and forth with insurance trying to fix it, but never thought to pick up the phone and call me to tell me there was a problem. Because I did not know that the original paperwork hadn't gone through yet, I had some other optional work done at another dentist's office that told me I had enough insurance money left to cover it. Since Stone Park didn't get their paperwork figured out until after I had the optional work done, by the time they submitted it my insurance money was gone and the $1,100 could NOT be covered by insurance, so I got stuck with the bill. They absolutely refused to work with me to reduce the cost, even though they admitted that their dentist's office, the other dentist's office, the insurance company, and me all had equal fault in the matter. I am BEYOND frustrated that I am now stuck with an $1,100 bill that could have been solved with a 5-minute phone call. I cannot BELIEVE a dentist's office treats their patients this way, and I would advise anyone thinking about going here to run far, far away. read more

The front staff is rude. I was getting a root canal and in the middle of it the dentist answers her Apple Watch and was actually talking to someone. There's barely ever any parking in the front. Automatic payments where suppose to be coming out for a procedure but they "never scheduled them." Even though i have the paper work! I had to stand outside for 15-20 minutes in the heat because they weren't ready for me. I decided to leave they called me 30 minutes later to tell me they were ready. The front service is VERY rude! Literally told me "You were taking too long to decide and we went to lunch". I literally was asking questions because I didn't know what they were doing. It is the lady who does the insurance and talks about the pricing. I believe that is no where near appropriate. Leaving a patient in the office while you all go to lunch? My first visit at this facility was great. It was determined that I had 3 cavities during my first visit and we knocked out the procedure right then and there. Dr. Carrol was amazing! She informed me step by step during my 3 cavity filling procedure and ensured I was comfortable and didn't feel any pain. The procedure didn't take long at all considering I had 3 cavities. Overall, she was excellent. This was a Saturday appointment and the wait time was at a minimum. On my second visit, I was supposed to have a teeth whitening. The solution ended up touching my gums at the top and the bottom of my mouth because the dental assistant did not secure my gums correctly. The treatment needed to be stopped due to this so I did not have my teeth whitened after all and instead I was molded for the whitening trays. I was told it would only take a week for them to be ready and I didn't get a call until like 3 weeks later. Overall, my experience with the whole whitening of my teeth was not pleasant. For my rating, I would give Dr. Carrol a 5 star, while giving my experience with the whitening a 1 star so that's how I came up with my 3 star rating. I plan to go back to see Dr. Carrol though because she was excellent. At this time, I will choose to get my teeth whitening done outside of their facility. read more

I came here back in October only to this office because my dad is assigning to the soon as well I scheduled my face appointment just for my scans and probably a cleaning I came in the staff was friendly didn't really interact with him that much took quite a while so he called to the back but that was fine I scheduled an early appointment I was taken to the back to get my scans done and I'm not sure what dental school she went to but it took forever and I mean like an hour and a half to do basic scans that would be done within a matter of minutes at a different office and once we get through that whole ordeal the doctor came in she was very cold and not welcoming she went ahead and ran up my diagnostic They stepped out of the room for about five minutes the nurse came back in and we're out saying anything be to take off my bib which I was like OK what's going on outside of here for almost 2 hours for you to come here and basically rush me out and she proceeded to say that oh the doctor says you're going to need a deep cleaning and everything and like that's fine but I asked her why because I'm like I just would like to just get it clean a deep cleaning right now and The assistant proceeded to lie to my face and say that it would be insurance fraud if they only did a cleaning and they sent over the x-rays for the plane which is false I called my insurance company and they said that as long as it's what you're comfortable with it's fine because it's all the same to them so I left pay for a little five dollar fee from my office visit and let it be had been to the dentist with in the past years and my co-pay for all the work I needed to have done was only around $530 this was from a dentist that's in my community reputable and have been going to them since I was a child I get my patient fee and chart from them and they have almost $2000 worth of work which is ridiculous because no not much is changed fast forward three months later I go to different dental office get my chart done and surprise surprise it's only $630 and it's only families because I had to get a root canal all at all this place is a scam unless you just trying to pay money out the Wazoo do not come here she is really trying to get all your money man The office isn't even that nice and they don't even have hot tech x-ray Machines or superior dental rooms for them to even try to justify charging that much it's a basic little office read more

They boast about Saturday appointments. They're not so easy to get. 1. The first time I called and scheduled an appointment, I had to call a few days ahead of time myself and verify the appointment. That's when I found out that they never wrote it down and booked the time. (Ok minor hiccup, I won't hold it against them.) 2. Then I got a real appointment. Keeping in mind, I only wanted a cleaning and look at a filling that I thought had gotten loose. It went well at first. Until the dentist wanted to pull my wisdom teeth with little regard of the placement of the roots. I had to tell them I was advised against having them removed because the removal could rupture my sinuses. If they were to be removed I needed an oral surgeon to do the procedure in case they did rupture. The comment I got back was that "they were concerned with the cosmetic part. If I was concerned about the pain, they could schedule an oral surgeon". (PAIN, really, how about infection???) 3. With the work that they did do, I ended up with REALLY swollen gums, and abscesses. I never get abscesses in my mount. And the swelling was going down to my tongue. My Medical Doctor prescribed antibiotics for this since I'm diabetic. When the dentist saw me, they said they wouldn't have prescribed antibiotics. Now, I'm not going to self-diagnose, but since I did get an infection, I think my Medical Doctor did the correct thing. But I would not suggest this facility if you want to be looked at as a whole patient and not just a set of teeth, and potential $$ signs. 5.
