My car takes 8, so it was 3 extra quarts that were 15 dollars a piece and that totaled 175 dollars.. they gave me a discount only because no one informed me that I needed three extra over the first 5 and I complained about it. I will never ever go back to this place. Incredibly expensive and it took OVER one hour. I was sitting in my car from 8:15 until 9:30am. At the desk, Kristy was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. My service was complete in almost half the initially quoted time, and for a price that beat everyone else in Camarillo. For such a reasonable cost, I surely expected there to be some drawbacks but the team at Adolfo Auto Care genuinely went the extra mile to help me out with some mild extra favors during my service, they were super friendly, did great work and came in at a super reasonable price. My appointment was for 1:15 but I got there early and was taken right away. The manager Issac greeted me and did the test . The website states smog tests could take up to an hour so I took a seat and within maybe 30 minutes I was all done. Issac told me my car passed and the certificate was sent over electronically to the DMV. I had a coupon for $10.00 off I found on their website and it was honored. Issac was great and has the smog business for all my cars from now on. Well done everyone!

They tried to upsell me on a bunch of stuff, which is to be expected in these places. I knocked them off a star because I had a warning light when I went in that one tire was low on pressure. They never checked the tire pressure, so the light was still on when I left. However, the receipt said they checked my tire pressure and that it was good. You don't really save money here. They charged the same as the dealership and give less service for it. But, no appointment is needed and you get to sit in your car while they do the work. I don't think I will use this place regularly, but I might come back in a pinch if I need a quick oil change and do t have time to go elsewhere.

Camarillo Valvoline: Service you can't see…read more Experts you should NEVER trust. I have add two separate incidents at this Valvoline that will ensure I will never come back. The first occurred in January of this year when I went in for service and (against my better judgment) opted for a tire rotation. We left the shop thinking everything was fine and got a call from the tech saying that the tires have not been fully torqued and they could potentially fall off. They said they would come and find us, so they proceeded to drive to our location. Luckily we hadn't driven far and we were attending a wedding reception nearby but we had to deal with this in the midst of that. This is a egregious safety violation and could have resulted in our harm. The service technicians were very apologetic and nice however it is still highly unacceptable and dangerous. Valvoline gave us a free oil change, in exchange for our near-death experience. The second occurred today when having gone into this Camarillo location. Several things: -They didn't check my lights yet I saw on their checklist that they marked they were good . -They didn't check my tire pressure at the beginning of the service so I had to ask. -I wasn't shown my air filter. I had to ask them about it at which they said my air filter was "underneath my vehicle". This is blatantly false, and a straight up LIE. I removed the air filter myself after the service and this is the result. -I asked for a printed receipt, they never provided. THIS WILL BE THE VERY LAST TIME I EVER TAKE MY VEHICLE HERE. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. HORRIBLE. They couldn't care less and just want to get you out as quickly as possible.
